Wishing You Whale

[Neuvillette always has a marked affinity for sea creatures… even when those creatures are flying through the air. The man himself is airborne as well, with glowing ‘wings’ trailing out of the back of his coat that seem to be made of light and the long horns sweeping back out of his white hair shining brightly in the same aqua-blue hue. The orcas and their young crowd around him without much prompting, the younger ones carefully nudging in under his arms and hands, and the usually stoic iudex can be seen to be actually smiling...

When the clouds come down he moves himself to them and seems… a little surprised that they can be picked up as easily as one might retrieve a blanket.]

Hmm…

[He folds the one brought down for him carefully, then drapes it over his arm. There are still plenty of sky orcas moving slowly overhead… perhaps someone else would like assistance in getting their attention?]

H2Oh No

[The lizards are struggling in the arid heat of the desert… and unfortunately so is Neuvillette. He has never enjoyed hot places, finding them to be uncomfortable at best, but this is--]

It is not often that I find myself in a location that seems specifically designed to kill me.

[He is exaggerating, in very little danger, but that doesn’t mean that the discomfort isn’t real! As it happens, the discomfort helps, because it’s upsetting, and when Neuvillette is upset about something, well…

Clouds roll in. Slowly, sluggishly, as if the heat is fighting them back, but they do roll in. The air grows heavy with humidity, and minutes later a localised downpour begins pounding down onto the sand around where the iudex had perched himself on a convenient - and far too hot - rock.

He is immediately drenched. As is the surrounding area, the lizards, and anyone else who happens to be standing there. The tips of his horns shine as he remains seated, face turned up into the rain.]

Who Made This Big Mess? [GATHERER]

[The lake - or indeed any body of water - would look much better without trash floating around in it and Neuvillette takes a personal interest in this endeavour. In fact, he may be judging you just a bit if you don’t, and how long is anyone going to just stand around being pierced by cold, disapproving eyes before they give up and just get on with it?

He’s there from sunrise to long after sunset, when the fading light is giving way to stars, his hair tied up high off his neck and his sleeves pushed up close to his elbows. It doesn’t look like he has any intention of leaving until every speck of litter has been cleared from the water.

Of course, in the meantime, he has also collected a somewhat sizable stash of semi-valuable items… though he doesn’t appear to be paying them much attention.]
