open 🌸 one night, a few moons ago
WHO: kamisato ayaka + you.
WHAT: open prompts for quest board and tdm, and any other things plotted with other players will be put here.
WHEN: october to november.
WHERE: places.
WARNINGS: none for now!
A 🌸 Matcha Liqueur
[ Having gone to the brewery in Coldreach before, she was easily remembered by the staff when she paid a visit again for this quest. After telling the story of how she now has opened up a small tea house in Sunwaning, they've allowed her to take orders and serve them to any visitors and tourists.
And so, to any visitors and tourists, and perhaps even those trying the same quest as she is? The staff might just approach them and tell them to try one of Ayaka's concoctions! ]
A Night of Autumn Breeze, [ Ayaka says with a smile on her face. She offers a tall glass that does not look alcoholic, but is! ] It combines coffee and maple liqueur. Please let me know what you think.
[ Behind her on the counter are a few more concoctions, though not quite autumn related: a bright green drink and a fancy one with lots of toppings!
Of course, if these end up being a success, she can't exactly have the drinks at tea house. But, it does become a stepping stone for more items to serve there in the future. This is research! ]
B 🌸 Honour the Dead
[ Ayaka has a shrine for her parents, as well as Cloud's mother, as she pays respects to them every day. After finding out that there is a festival to honour those who have passed, though, she would dare not miss out on learning more about this. It is not because she is interested in the dead, but because she is in another world, it is always important to learn the world's customs. Lighting candles in various places isn't an uncommon ritual in honouring the dead, as well as floating lanterns.
While she is normally afraid of ghosts, though, she decides to try her best and partake of the other activities in helping those who have passed move onto the afterlife. The ghosts made of cloth she's made look quite a lot like teru teru bozu, because she doesn't know how else to make them. There are a couple floating around her as she looks around and tries to find someone who can help...
With how pale her skin looks from being so lowkey terrified though, it looks as if Ayaka might just join these ghosts very soon. ]
A- Ah... I'm very sorry to disturb you, [ she bows her head to anyone passing by. She hopes they pays her attention! ] But I need some assistance with these flower wreaths, you see.
[ Please help she is so scared... do you see her ankles wobbling??? Yes. She wants to help, but she is also scared of ghosts. :'( ]
C 🌸 Ayaya, the Friendly Ghost
[ Masquerades weren't exactly a popular type of event in Inazuma. There are festivals every so often where people would have to wear masks, but this feels different! They even have to have costumes, and that's very exciting! As cute as the idea is, however, Ayaka's not one to really dress up in costumesunless it's for """other""" purposes [cough]. She picks out a rather simple costume as a ghost or yuurei, dressed up in a kimono and a one-eyed mask.
It doesn't seem like people would be able to recognise her right away, so if there's anyone she knows and she spots at the party? They'll have a small Ayaka bounding up to them, tapping them on the shoulder (or the arm, whatever she can reach), before she waves both her hands in front of her. ]
Boo! [ Guess who!! Isn't her costume scary? °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
Though the festivities are also so very exciting. Identities being mostly masked gives her the confidence to also walk up to people. ]
My last wish before I passed was to dance at a grand party like this. [ She certainly does not sound very sad, though. In fact, one might be able to hear the excitement in her tone. (o˘◡˘o) ] Won't you dance with me?
D 🌸 Wildcard
( Hit me with your own prompt! Feel free to send a message if you'd like to plot anything with me. )

ayaya the friendly ghost
he's gotten into the candy bowl and is on his tenth piece of caramel toffee, and he brightens when he sees her. ]
Of course. [ he tosses the wrapper neatly into the wastebasket, giving her a courtly little bow. ] Who am I to say no?
no subject
You will? [ Wait— ] I mean, of course you will!
And you will help me move on, when we are done dancing.
honor the dead
Is that Ayaka, sheepishly asking for help? Goodness, she's shaking.]
Ayaka...? Is everything alright? I'd say you look like you've seen a ghost, but...
[Haha this whole festival is ghosts whoops]
no subject
[ There's a brightness in her tone, genuine happiness and respect upon seeing a familiar face. Her voice is shaky despite that, though, and it's likely obvious why! ]
Everything is alright. There is a task that I need help in accomplishing, however. I cannot do it by myself.
no subject
[Previously unaware of Ayaka's fear of ghosts, he's a little confused. Despite maybe the Great Mujina Yokai being a made up figment of the children's imaginations, yokai, supernatural entities, and spirits really do exist, and Inazuma's full of them. But he supposes even if you live among it, doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't frighten the bejesus out of you...]
The flower wreaths, right? Sure, I can help- but Ayaka, you're shaking like a leaf. You're sure nothing is amiss?
no subject
[ And she would elaborate further on what it is she needs to do with Tartaglia, if not for that question. ]
Ah- I'm fine! [ Why's he gotta point it out like that? ] Just... nervous! That's all. Please, there is no need to worry.
no subject
You know they're not going to hurt you, right? Relax. You're just the person they've been waiting for all this time, after all. They won't be able to pass on without your help.
[He's definitely using his older brother voice for this one. He's just trying to imagine if it were Tonia or something who was afraid of ghosts and how he'd comfort her in a time like this.]
no subject
[ And perhaps she'll ask Tartaglia if she really looked so obviously scared later on. ]
Shall we?
[ Ayaka nods to one of the floating teru teru bozus, who then begins to make the flower wreath float. The big bro voice does work, and she feels relieved to have a companion. She isn't shaking anymore! But she does still feel a little nervous, more due to wanting to get this right rather than due to fear, at least. ]
no subject
Of course.
[He reaches out to grab a hold of the wreath, ready to place it on the crest along with Ayaka, staying respectfully silent during the process.]
no subject
Ayaka won't be able to witness all of it, but the wreath slowly disappears, becoming more and more transparent until it no longer is in front of them.
She opens her eyes just as the wreath disappears. ]
They should have moved on now.
no subject
Yes, it seems so. I don't see any trace of it left whatsoever. Now that just leaves all the other ones, waiting for their own turns to depart this world...
[He says as he looks up into the sky. Due to his winter powers, he can see all the spirits around them, smiling at one that floats down that he lets settle into his open palm before it dances around his finger and floats off again.]
You can't see them, can you Ayaka? All the spirits here at the festival.
no subject
No, I'm unable to.
[ While she wants to help, the very idea of there being sooo many spirits that there is one actually sitting on her shoulder scares her. ]
Is the sky filled with them?
no subject
Well, uh...
[He wonders if she'll be okay knowing how many there are, so maybe he should just keep it vague...]
I wouldn't go as far to say it's filled with them, but there's a few floating about, waiting for their turn to inhabit our little crafts here. They're just...happy that everyone's so willing to assist them! Haha...
[It's not a lie! But he doesn't sound convincing...]
no subject
I see... So there are more who need help.

Honour the Dead
[E'kayan's ears prick up as he's addressed and his attention is pulled from one of the curious floating little ghosts to the young woman they're hovering around. Fear is a very familiar emotion to the Miqo'te, both on others and on himself, and he recognises it on her immediately.]
Sure, I can help you.
[A warm smile breaks onto his expression and he moves to her, gently putting a hand on her arm as if trying to give her some reassurance.]
You're... Ayaka, right? I've seen you on the network before.
no subject
[ Ayaka is so very grateful! She relaxes immediately, despite being in the presence of a stranger. This is so much better than being around ghosts. ]
My name is Kamisato Ayaka, yes. [ This is also helping her calm down, too. Distract her for a bit before they get to work. ] You are?
no subject
This is all uh... pretty unique, right?
[A smile. His tail flicks.]
You wanted to put a wreath down?
no subject
[ She bows her head in acknowledgement. As for this being unique? She supposes... She knows of similar traditions that the Lady Guuji performs at the top of Narukami Island, where she is from, but they're only truly similar and not exactly alike. ]
This is admittedly the first time I have done something like this. . . interacting with souls of the deceased and helping them move on. So your help would be most appreciated, E'kayan.
no subject
[Interacting with souls of the dead has happened to him surprisingly often, and in some unexpected ways, but this is a fairly calm and gentle way of dealing with the situation and he thinks he definitely prefers it, overall.
He cocks his head in the direction they need to go, his tail twitching that way as well.]
Shall we, then? I'll follow you.
no subject
Right. We'll just need to lift the flower wreath first. I think we'll feel the spirit also hold onto the wreath, as well.
[ She places her hands on one side then looks at him. ]
Shall we?
no subject
[With a smile and a small flick of his ears he steps up to take hold of the other side of the wreath. Though he wasn't afraid to begin with, the process does feel easier with a kind person here to join him in it. Ayaka seems very nice - just as nice in person as she has been in her broadcasts.]
All right, I'm ready for... whatever happens next.
[He shoots her another of those reassuring smiles.]
Nothing to be afraid of, right?
no subject
I'll try...
[ Honestly, having company truly helps. When they place the wreath on the crest, all they have to do is play the waiting game! Soon, the wreath disappears into thin air, and the weight on their hands is no more.
Only then does Ayaka let out a sigh of relief. She's been holding that one for a while! ]
Goodness. We did it!
[ SHE'S STILL SO TENSE ]
no subject
Even he is starting to feel tense when the wreath finally disappears from their hands.]
Oh, hey! Look at that.
[He pats one hand against Ayaka's back in a show of camaraderie.]
You did great! Nothing to worry about at all.
no subject
Thank you so much for your help. This would not have been successful without you.
no subject
[But he grins, clearly pleased with the earnest thanks, and the wiggles of his ears and flicking of his tail betrays his true feelings.]
But, uh... why were you so scared to begin with?
