WHO: kamisato ayaka + you.
WHAT: open prompts for quest board and tdm, and any other things plotted with other players will be put here.
WHEN: october to november.
WHERE: places.
WARNINGS: none for now!
A πΈ Matcha Liqueur
[ Having gone to the brewery in Coldreach before, she was easily remembered by the staff when she paid a visit again for this quest. After telling the story of how she now has opened up a small tea house in Sunwaning, they've allowed her to take orders and serve them to any visitors and tourists.
And so, to any visitors and tourists, and perhaps even those trying the same quest as she is? The staff might just approach them and tell them to try one of Ayaka's concoctions! ]
A Night of Autumn Breeze, [ Ayaka says with a smile on her face. She offers a tall glass that does not look alcoholic, but is! ] It combines coffee and maple liqueur. Please let me know what you think.
[ Behind her on the counter are a few more concoctions, though not quite autumn related: a bright green drink and a fancy one with lots of toppings!
Of course, if these end up being a success, she can't exactly have the drinks at tea house. But, it does become a stepping stone for more items to serve there in the future. This is research! ]
B πΈ Honour the Dead
[ Ayaka has a shrine for her parents, as well as Cloud's mother, as she pays respects to them every day. After finding out that there is a festival to honour those who have passed, though, she would dare not miss out on learning more about this. It is not because she is interested in the dead, but because she is in another world, it is always important to learn the world's customs. Lighting candles in various places isn't an uncommon ritual in honouring the dead, as well as floating lanterns.
While she is normally afraid of ghosts, though, she decides to try her best and partake of the other activities in helping those who have passed move onto the afterlife. The ghosts made of cloth she's made look quite a lot like teru teru bozu, because she doesn't know how else to make them. There are a couple floating around her as she looks around and tries to find someone who can help...
With how pale her skin looks from being so lowkey terrified though, it looks as if Ayaka might just join these ghosts very soon. ]
A- Ah... I'm very sorry to disturb you, [ she bows her head to anyone passing by. She hopes they pays her attention! ] But I need some assistance with these flower wreaths, you see.
[ Please help she is so scared... do you see her ankles wobbling??? Yes. She wants to help, but she is also scared of ghosts. :'( ]
C πΈ Ayaya, the Friendly Ghost
[ Masquerades weren't exactly a popular type of event in Inazuma. There are festivals every so often where people would have to wear masks, but this feels different! They even have to have costumes, and that's very exciting! As cute as the idea is, however, Ayaka's not one to really dress up in costumesunless it's for """other""" purposes [cough]. She picks out a rather simple costume as a ghost or yuurei, dressed up in a kimono and a one-eyed mask.
It doesn't seem like people would be able to recognise her right away, so if there's anyone she knows and she spots at the party? They'll have a small Ayaka bounding up to them, tapping them on the shoulder (or the arm, whatever she can reach), before she waves both her hands in front of her. ]
Boo! [ Guess who!! Isn't her costume scary? Β°Λβ§β(β°βΏβ°)ββ§ΛΒ°
Though the festivities are also so very exciting. Identities being mostly masked gives her the confidence to also walk up to people. ]
My last wish before I passed was to dance at a grand party like this. [ She certainly does not sound very sad, though. In fact, one might be able to hear the excitement in her tone. (oΛβ‘Λo) ] Won't you dance with me?

No, I'm unable to.
[ While she wants to help, the very idea of there being sooo many spirits that there is one actually sitting on her shoulder scares her. ]
Is the sky filled with them?
no subject
Well, uh...
[He wonders if she'll be okay knowing how many there are, so maybe he should just keep it vague...]
I wouldn't go as far to say it's filled with them, but there's a few floating about, waiting for their turn to inhabit our little crafts here. They're just...happy that everyone's so willing to assist them! Haha...
[It's not a lie! But he doesn't sound convincing...]
no subject
I see... So there are more who need help.
[ SHE CAN'T LEAVE YET WHY ]
no subject
There are, but...
[He feels like he's digging a hole for the both of them now that he hadn't meant to dig in the first place. How to get out of it, is the question.]
...You're not thinking of staying until every single one of them are able to move on to the other side, now are you?
no subject
[ She almost laughs because that's such a silly idea. At least the conversation remains light. ]
But a few more would lessen the work of others...
no subject
[He folds his arms over his chest, now amused by her answer. This girl...]
...we've gotten to know each other relatively better over the months that we've been here, yes? Would you mind terribly if I speak freely on the matter?
no subject
I suppose we have... I do not mind.
[ Though why is she starting to feel even more nervous now??? ]
no subject
First off, relax.
[If there's anything he's really good at, it's reading people and a situation. And it's been so clear that she wants to go and get away from these ghosts, and he can tell she's getting more nervous.]
Secondly, as much as I commend you for staring down that which strikes a little bit of terror in your heart...you really don't need to worry about taking any more responsibility for it. Is it really such a pressing matter that it can't be left to all the other people here at the festival?
no subject
[ Then there would be souls who can't make it to the afterlife. Do you see the dilemma here, Tartaglia!! ]
no subject
[His eyes narrow, his smile wide.]
...you'd be resigning yourself to a night filled with ghosts that float all around you. Is that what you really want? Be honest, now. I'll be able to tell if you're fibbing.
no subject
[ You know what? She's easy. She'll give it up, then. ]
Very well, then. One was enough.
no subject
I guess there's just some things all older brothers have in common. C'mon, wouldn't you much rather be sampling all the different dishes this festival has to offer? There's so many that you'd never see in Teyvat, let alone Inazuma.
[Let him buy you something nice for your bravery today, Ayaka!]
no subject
[ Tartaglia has successfully distracted her from the scary things at hand. It's like a complete 180 fadsgdshd ]
Very well then. Let's find something warm to eat.
[ Her arms still have goosebumps and she needs to calm down... ]
no subject
[Who knew food could be such a good distraction for her? He'll remember this for the future.]
And, it's on me. So pick anything you'd like.
no subject
[ Normally, she'd say he doesn't need to treat her, but she can already tell how that conversation is going to go. As such... ]
Then, let's look around. [ One last look at the wreaths!! Then she looks back at Tartaglia with a nod. The food stalls aren't that far from where they are, but it's still a little difficult to see what's being served until they get to that particular spot. ] Have you ever had churros before?
I had those with Yoimiya, and I liked them a lot.
no subject
Churros? Never heard of those before. Are they an Inazuman food?
[Sounds like it's from somewhere he's never heard before. That doesn't even sound like an Inazuman name.]
no subject
[ If only she knew more about the world out there! But that's okay. They can have it here. ]
They're like bread, but fried! And you can dip them in all sorts of things, like cinnamon or hot chocolate.
[ Ah, she truly hopes there is a churro stand here! Ayaka is on the lookout, walking past the various booths to see what else is being served. Burritos and nachos, amongst other things. Seems they're on the right track, since they all sound the same.
When she spots the stall? She immediately taps on Tartaglia's arm to get his attention. It is rude to point, so she does not do that, but instead takes a step forward so that she can lead the way. ]
I see it! Please follow me.
no subject
[He's trying to liken that to anything he knows, maybe like grenki? But that's sort of a breakfast food...then, just regular fried bread? Fried piroshki? But you don't really dip those in cinnamon or chocolate or anything, but he supposes you could if you wanted. Really, he's dumbfounded on what churros could possibly look or taste like, but he's definitely ready to see it for himself.
All these stalls they're passing have foods he's never tried either, but they look and smell delicious and his mouth waters just smelling it all. He's looking in the other direction when Ayaka taps his arm, his head turning to look at her. He can see how excited she is, nodding and following her lead.]
Of course. Is...that it right there?
[He inclines his head towards the one with the sign with the picture of the long stick that sort of reminds him of a french toast stick but...not.]
no subject
[ She sounds so triumphant having found a churro stand. It's not "new" food anymore, but she's also thrilled to introduce it to Tartaglia even if she's no expert on it!
These ones even have more dips available! A kid buying some has theirs dipped in some kind of pink dip and even sprinkles! ]
Is this something you'd like? [ Because they can look at the other stalls if Tartaglia isn't feeling it! ]
no subject
Oh, I'm really not picky about what I eat, and this looks delectable. Goodness, look at all the sauces. Are they all meant to be sweet? This one looks like strawberry, [he says as he points to a few sauces,] and I swear I see three different kinds of chocolate...
[He's going to rot his teeth right out of his skull, isn't he? Guess it's not a bad way to do it though.]
no subject
[ The dark chocolate dip is really good too, if he'd like something that's not too sweet, at the very least. ]
We can order a few pieces and multiple dips. [ Six churros and two dips, eight churros and three dips, etc! ] Would you like to choose which ones to try?
no subject
[His hand comes up to his chin as he thinks, looking over it all. This looks so good...it'll be a nice treat too after their hard work with helping their spirit friends out to cross over.]
Yeah, I would. I think I'd like to keep my choice simple for the time being and get this dark chocolate one and the strawberry one as well. Why don't we order an additional dip so we have plenty of them to try? You should pick two as well and we'll share them all, if you're alright with that.
no subject
[ She tried mango with Yoimiya before and liked it! And since it looks like they're decided, she takes a step forward and places their rather large order to the clerk. The churros have to be deep fried and then rolled around in sugar and cinnamon, so they have to wait a while for their food to be done. ]
I'm excited. They are very good when they're hot.
no subject
Hahaha...you really enjoy trying new kinds of food, don't you Ayaka?
[Not that he hadn't already noticed, but it's awfully endearing how something so simple is such a joy for her. He watches how they prepare their churros, wondering if he could replicate it back at home and make them himself.]
no subject
[ Of course it is, Ayaka. ]
Inazuma has been so closed off from the rest of the world that being introduced to another's culture is such a wonderful experience to me. And food is one of the easiest and best ways to get to know a nation or a specific area.
