• Characters don't need to be a member of the guild to do quests and anyone can do any segment's quest! The quests are just marked this way to show where the quests are taking place.

Going Gorgon

A massive monster has been spotted in the Jungle of Judgement (Summer Segment). It has been feeding on the native fauna and even people! It looks like a giant snake lady with wings. Some have identified it's name to be "Gorgon". We can't have this monster feeding on everything that comes even close to the area of the Jungle its at, so we need people to take care of it! We will pay 2000 Moon Coins for your efforts of somehow solving this problem - may it be destroying the monster or just getting it leave!

City Quests

Blind Cooking	Local TV channel is looking for participants for a new type of reality cooking show. In the show one person is blindfolded and the other is giving them instructions. This is very much a trust building exercise for the participants, as well as entertaining for the viewers. Of course, any and all injuries will be healed by a team of specialists on set.	Upon entering the set the producers will do a spell that will determine how well the two people know each other. The closer they are the less likely they'll be allowed to work together. The goal is to find people who barely know each other to take a leap of faith in cooking. Of course the spell can be fooled by keeping your thoughts neutral about the other person while it's being cast.	500 Moon Coins, a free self made meal
Emotional Art	Amberfall artists have set up giant blank canvases all over the districts (even in Frostreign) with plenty of different painting tools (brushes, spray cans etc). The task is to paint with your positive emotions and make pictures that radiate with positive energy. The tools and canvases are all magical so trying to enforce negative emotions into the paintings will lead to the paint disappearing once it's been on the canvas for a while. These works of art are meant to uplift the spirits of the citizens and just let people have fun with painting.	Characters may learn an instant spell for cleaning their clothes from paint (and only paint) while they're participating in this quest or can be provided with overalls. Occasionally the paintings will be changed to a new blank canvas to give people more room to paint, but the "finished" canvases can be found from various places in the city.	100 Moon Coins, a watercolor set, watercolor paper
On a Magic Carpet Ride	The Research Center is always looking for fun new ways to travel. Now they are looking for people to test out the newest ones. It's a magic carpet meant to be ridden by two people. One of them powers up the carpet by singing (anything goes, even songs thought up on a whim) and the other steers the carpet. The test drivers are asked to complete a course where they need to pick certain items throughout the city and then return back to the Research Center.	You are free to come up with simple items (fruit, special tokens, stamps - anything that won't be too heavy to carry) for the course. If the character in charge of singing stops, the carpet will gently float down to the ground (or whatever is beneath it) until singing continues again.	700 Moon Coins
Pipe Express	Mysterious turquoise pipes have appeared all around the city. Some natives have entered them out of curiosity and ended up in a completely different place. Turns out they're warp pipes, a new way of fast travel! However, some of the warp pipes have an extra challenge that will take them to either a grassy terrain where you get chased by small dinosaurs that breathe fire or a pool with fish called Toe Nibblers. Some have even found just a room with a bunch of gold coins! Please help us label all of the pipes and where they might lead.	Fire Breathing Dinosaurs are the size of a house cat and can look like various different dinosaur species. Toe Nibblers are various fresh water fish that nibble on people's toes and aren't generally very dangerous. There's 1/10 pipe chance to end up in either of the enemy pipes and there's 1/50 chance to drop into a room full of gold coins.	300 Moon Coins
Undercovered CW: Gang Activity	After the opening of the Underground Mall, there has been an increase in criminal activity and shady people, especially in the center district. The police are very understaffed, so we're asking otherworlders to go undercover and infiltrate these crime groups (but only those on the surface). Any information provided is important and will help towards making the city a safe place to be in.	You're free to come up with different motivations, reasons and plans the minor crime groups may have and use the local Law Enforcement to bring them down with the help of your character. Some groups will hand out simple flower pins (imagine small, like hair accessories) to characters out of trust towards them.	2000 Moon Coins, possible flower pin

Winter Segment

Lights, Snow, Quests [ Click to Expand ]

Invisible Maze	Throughout the Winter Segment, invisible walls have appeared. These walls form a maze and occasionally one finds themselves stuck in an invisible dead-end. They're very hazardous and make traveling in the Segment difficult. We ask that you find whatever is causing this maze to exist.	Passing through the maze will lead to finding an invisible Mime Monster (a bipedal, masked ermine creature). Once the characters reach the Mime Monster it will turn visible and attack. All its attacks are invisible but you can predict what they are by participating in a game of pantomime. The Mime Monster doesn't need to be killed if you show it a pantomime it can't solve.	400 Moon Coins
Just Around the Riverbend	The rivers and lakes of the Winter Segment are flooding due to giant monstrous Snow Beavers making dams all over the place. These beavers are the size of human teenagers and their coat looks like powder snow. You don't have to kill the beavers, just get rid of their damn dams!	Snow Beavers usually travel in groups of four and make dams on any watery surfaces. The dams are strengthened with ice, but shouldn't be too hard to destroy; it's just that there's a lot of them and the Snow Beavers will try to bite anyone who attacks the dams.	600 Moon Coins
Snowed Out	The Summer Districts want to make ice and snow sculptures in the city to cool the areas a little bit. To accomplish this, special snow and ice need to be delivered from the Winter Segment. Any snow and ice that glitters like the northern lights under sunlight will be perfect for the task as it won't melt. Bring as much of it back as possible.	Sleds and other means of transport are provided for the task. Snowmobiles can be rented to pull sleds easily through the snow.	200 Moon Coins
Yet We Must Fight	A group of Giant Yetis have emerged from the forests of the Winter Segment, looking to destroy anything in their paths. They have weapons made out of wood that they use to hit opponents with. They've been making steady progress towards the City Barrier, attracted by the masses of people inside it. We believe the barrier will hold, but the natives would likely get spooked if they saw them banging on the barrier so chasing them away is important.	The Giant Yeti max height is 6 metres / 20 feet. They don't have any other abilities other than their size and their wooden weapons. Killing them is optional, they just need to be chased out. Usually by fire.	900 Moon Coins

Spring Segment

Breezing through quests [ Click to Expand ]

Cats Need Catnip Badly	Local animal shelters have run out of cat- (and other creature-) nip due to not being able to visit the Creature-Nip Meadow regularly for the past two months (due to a certain quest). Now they want to fill their storage with as much of the herbs as possible.	Eating or otherwise ingesting the various herbs in the Meadow may turn people into the creatures they're meant for (cat nip -> cat). At the least they will make the person act like said animal for a few hours.	200 Moon Coins
Farming Life	The Research Center has provided barrier stones. These stones can be used to protect farming plots where you can grow various vegetables and herbs. The barriers don't protect them from normal animals, but they do protect them from various natural disasters and monsters. Place these barrier stones around the various abandoned farming plots and maybe get into farming yourself!	The barrier stones only cover plots of 5 x 5 kilometres / 3 x 3 miles. There can be multiple next to each other. Various vegetable and herb seeds are also provided by the quest givers.	200 Moon Coins, fresh vegetables/herbs later
Movie Inspirations	A movie producer needs references for a fight scene and wants people to defeat local Spring monsters in the flashiest way possible and get it on camera. Camera provided, of course, with enough film for four different takes.	Any Spring Segment monsters in particular will do the trick (even slimes). Cameraman safety is not guaranteed during the quest and they may have to tend to themselves.	100 Moon Coins per clip
Panda Picking Season	It's the time of the year when Giant Pandas tend to feast on the Bamboo Labyrinth in large parties. This is a necessary cycle to keep the labyrinth in good shape. However, the panda babies tend to run off. Please protect them and bring them back to their parents. The grateful mama pandas will give characters golden bamboo shoots they find from the ground as a reward.	Golden Bamboo Shoots are a special type of bamboo that will upgrade the Spring Power Holder powers when added to regular food. If a non-spring holder eats it they will just feel a lot lighter for a few days. It also tastes delicious. Please refrain from taking the baby pandas away from their parents. Summer Segment

All These Mummies CW: Mummies, Skeletons, Mind Control	Areas near the Deserter's Desert have recently seen an increased amount of Mummies. They have certainly appeared from out of nowhere (or from sand, we suppose). They're a menace... but not in a fatal way. Instead they're trying to wrap bandages around people to turn them into them. The bandages do have a 1/50 chance to actually make someone completely act like a mummy (walking in a trance, wrapping bandages around people) that can be canceled by taking the bandages off. They should be dealt with as soon as possible.	The mummies are otherwise mostly harmless, but the Research Center would appreciate if someone captured a few of them so they could study them! Actual mummies have skeletons underneath all the bandages but nothing else. If they're stripped off their bandages they will comically cover their genital area and run away.	300 Moon Coins
It's Raining ... Fire CW: Burns	The Summer Segment is a place where it rarely rains outside the Rain Jungle, and when it does rain it can be something other than your regular water. Like fire. Recently observational team has noticed fire raining down from the skies. The source seems to be Wyverns circling in the skies (their scales, when falling, turn into fire). Put out the fires before they spread too far and dodge the unpleasant rain.	The Wyverns can be fought, but they're danger level 10 and even killing one is a very, very hard task, especially since they're cloaked in Dark Energy most of the time.	400 Moon Coins
Pirates of the Great Lake	Mysterious ships have made an appearance on the Great Ocean Lake: ghost ships and pirate octopi ships. They're disturbing all life on the lake, throwing explosive and other things into it. The Research Center has provided ships that can be taken to the waters and some pirate outfits to fit the theme (optional). Destroy the enemy ships and restore peace to the lake!	Ghost Ships are ships that don't seem to have any members onboard (or they can only be seen by the Winter holders). Pirate Octopi are octopi with eyepatches (and some even have mechanical tentacles in place of normal ones). The ships rarely fight each other but they don't consider each other allies either.	700 Moon Coins
❗High Risk Quest❗ La Va Land CW: Burns	New creatures are emerging from the Lava-Ridden Land. Monsters made completely out of lava and rocks and are slowly making their way towards the segment and burning their way through everything. They're especially headed for the airship station, though we are unsure if they'll be able to cross the Forever Fall, but we don't want to risk them actually passing through it. Defeat them, however it takes or chase them back beyond the barrier.	Lava Monsters are extremely dangerous and will burn anything they touch. They're closely shaped like slime and other blobs, making hard to tear apart as they will just reform themselves. Their weak point is the lava core, lodged deep inside their bodies. Breaking the core means the lava creature will dissolve.	8000 Moon Coins

Autumn Segment

Leaf Me Alone	Majority of the autumn leaves have turned magical and have started to cause people to fall into a state of sleep whenever they hit someone. Luckily, most people have fallen asleep on the safe zones, but there are those who did not. Be careful not to get hit by the leaves and try to get rid of them instead, all while saving the people sleeping in wrong places. As long as a leaf remains on someone they will either sleep or feel very drowsy and the more leaves they have on them the more potent the effect is.	The effect is less effective through clothes, but will still make one feel sleepy/yawn a lot. With enough layers of clothes the characters will be able to collect the leaves for extra potent sleeping potions. However it's not recommended to eat the leaves as they are, as it might lead to a comatose state instead.	300 Moon Coins
Migrating Foes	Over the course of several weeks, some (Spring) slime and (Winter) Gem Biters have made their way to the Autumn Segment and are now eating special mushrooms near the Mushroom Sanctuary (but not inside it). These mushrooms grow them in size and now we're dealing with human-sized foes. Slime are still relatively harmless, though now they can cover someone in their slime drool, but Gem Biter bites may actually be dangerous. Fight these creatures and either destroy them or bring them back to their original habitats (the effects of the mushroom will fade with time).	Eating a mushroom will make someone grow triple their current size (clothes will transform with them). The effect will fade in a day. Used in potions this mushroom will help with plant growth.	400 Moon Coins
Silent Streams	In the woods, near the Silent Mountains, people will find they lose their voices. In fact, all the sounds disappear. However, it's also the place where you can find one of the purest of water sources, needed for a special potion. The quest is simple: obtain the spring water and bring it back, but be careful of the dangers you cannot hear.	While the area around the spring is relatively safe, sometimes Spirit Animals wander around, attracted by the emotions of those in the area. They will only attack if there are too many different emotions in the area at the same time. There are also actual bears and wolves wandering the woods, but they rarely come too close to the Silent Zone.	100 Moon Coins per water container
❗High Risk Quest ❗ Rest in Pieces CW: murder, drowning	Lately people have died or gone missing near the Abandoned Graveyard. A new type of Kelpie specie has emerged from the Flooded Woods: the Ghoul Kelpie (or Ghoulpie). It can't enter the protected area, but it will haunt people right outside of to either immediately feast on them or take them with them back to the woods to drown them. They're extremely aggressive and attack anyone on sight. They need to dealt with as soon as possible to bring peace back to the area.	Ghoul Kelpies have a sticky fur that anything sticks to. Their teeth are sharp and venomous and their mane turns into vines that poison or stun their opponents. Their weakness is that the more dry they get, the more vulnerable they are to attacks so they occasionally need to retreat back to water.	8000 Moon Coins

Sex on Air	A new airship is looking for workers for their opening months. The airship cruise that circles around the districts and segments is meant for pleasure and pleasure only. Employees will dress up in sexy lingerie and serve customers drinks, food and entertainment. It's much like a sexy host club on air. There is also a chance of trying their new spell: actually having sex while floating in the air. Just make sure not to fall behind the airship or you may be in trouble.	Of course anyone is allowed to just be a customer of the airship - or why not both, with occasionally doing work and occasionally being served. The Airship leaves evening second evening from the Nightwake Central station and returns after two days. Think of it as a luxurious cruise.	900 Moon Coins per cruise
Shibari Lessons	Due to the last month's Freezing Heart incident, local sex shops have opened up workshops around the Underground Mall. They are teaching characters magical shibari. Every knot tied around someone will represent an emotional or physical block they have. Once all knots are in place a spell is cast on them that will relieve them of their burdens for some time (depends on the person, how fast they will grow these burdens back in their minds/bodies). May also cause arousal to doing this with a partner you know and trust might be a good idea.	The spell doesn't completely erase the burdens, it's merely meant to bring temporary relief and pleasure. The spell is a customized for every person, but it has to include the words "release you from your burdens", but otherwise it can be worded however the one doing the spell wants (for ex. "With my love and care towards you, I release you from your burdens"). The spell has to be one full sentence, but it can't just be "I release you from your burdens".	Shibari Spell, Shibari Rope

Emotional Art

[MK found the canvases and paints and had to paint. He loves making art and he wasn't going to say no. He started to paint and tried to paint something bright and happy. Like the beach at Flower Fruit Mountain. Or a mural of him and his friends like he's seen of the other companions. Only the pictures kept coming out wrong. The beach became a giant silver and red mech. His friends became his enemies, all of them grinning and glowing eyed.

The more he tried, the more the paintings went wrong. MK is covered in paint from frantic brush strokes as he tried to paint something else. Over and over.

"Why can't I make a good picture? Why can't I make it perfect?!"

Movie Inspirations

Being offered the chance to do work for an action movie was one of MK's dreams. Of course he signed up to do cool clips. He just needed monsters and someone to help. Which is why he had the camera and was looking around. He approached with a grin.

"Hey! Wanna help me film some cool fights with monsters? You just gotta hold the camera. I can do the fighting."

MK knew this was dangerous. Super dangerous but he wanted to help. If things were hurting people, it was his job to save them. To stop the monsters from hurting others. He travelled to the Abandoned Graveyard with staff in hand. He spun it as he approached the barrier of the protected area. He was going to stop whatever these things were. He'd find a way to keep people safe. He stepped over the line and walked along, staff still in hand. The growl turned his attention as one of the Ghoulpies emerged on his right. The one definitely wasn't alone as MK readied his staff.

"Alright, monster. Feel let's do this. Here comes Monkie Kid!" He launched himself at the beast.

[ This is one of Saya's last quests before her second test, and after that -- who knows? (Certainly won't be traumatic amnesia or anything.) This one pays well, and that's what she wants. Also a good fight can't ever go amiss. ]

[ She watches MK attack, not terribly concerned. He can probably handle most anything, though she's not sure he's prepare for the sort of status effects this place can bring down. All the same, she wants to protect him. ]

[ These are fish, and conveniently enough Saya's element is fire. So rather than fight the things directly for now, she makes a sweeping motion with her arms, which sends a spark fizzing through the air like a fuse, and from that grows a huge wall of fire that surrounds them all, trapping the Ghoulpies in there with them. And it should dry them out pretty quickly, but it'll take a minute. ]

Careful! There's sometimes nasty surprises with monsters here.

Red Son usually chose high reward quests. He had enough skills and abilities to usually manage it one way or another. And while a water monster could bring him pause...

Well, he has a new bracelet to help those risks.

He honestly shouldn't have been surprised when he heard MK's voice. And while he trusted the Noodle Boy to handle himself, of course he did, MK has beaten HIM before-

Well, okay, MK also usually had his friends watching his back, so maybe he hurries over to that part of the barrier quicker than strictly necessary. Hopping over the barrier, taking in MK and the ghoulpies because of force he went against a horde.

Ah, yes, a kelpie variant, of course. Chances are far too high touching will be dangerous. Well, this is why he has the transforming keychain, pouring magic into it as a spear forms in his hand as he dashes forward to join the fight.

Lioriley, standing nearby with a brush in hand, currently painting what looked to be a knight in golden armor, paused and looked over to MK as his frustrations were voice, offering a sympathetic smile in his direction.

"They do not have to be perfect. Are you... struggling, perhaps? The images are meant to be joyous, and if you are not in a particularly good mood, well..."

Wukong had actually been feeling a lot more up and energetic lately. Maybe it was just the extra contact, or maybe the true fiasco was also a reason. Either way, he's been in an overall great mood...except the whole scroll instance.

As such, he had decided to get out for some air, but wasn't completely surprised to see his student working at a canvas. What was surprising was the paint fading out as he tried to make progress.`

...he couldn't not do it. Its a cooking job. He's sure even blindfolded, or giving instructions, it was something he could be great at. For cooking for 500 mooncoins? Sign him up.

Honestly, it also helps that at least he could keep his mind neutral during any spell attempting to read his closeness level.

Undercovered

Red Son usually didn't bother with things like law enforcement. Monsters, science, sure. Those were fine, but it felt just a touch hypocritical to go after criminals. He had worked with criminals before for rare materials and information. So he saw no reason to go after the gangs, even if the price was tempting. He thought being hired to do no questions asked repair jobs would be worth more.

....then they fucking drugged MK.

And no one messed with someone who belonged to a member of the Demon Bull Family, even if it was just a friend/uneasy truce ally.

It was simple enough, really. He already had a reputation as a repairman who didn't ask questions, so he got hired, and it allowed him to gather information. He was observant and he knew what signs to look for and even more importantly, the best places to plant bugs.

There just needed to be a reason now for the police to investigate an incident to get the guys where they could arrest them. And, well, when cursed objects were often a reason for the jobs he had to do, Red Son got real good at identifying what curses cause what problem. He just needed help to plant the plushies in the right spot for max chaos.

Yet We Must Fight

'Usually by fire' was the recommendation which is just a siren song for Red Son.

Giant monsters were hardly a concern for Red Son, he's fought bigger opponents before, and if all they had was size, then, well, that was easy pickings.

"Should be an easy 900 mooncoins," he hummed cheerfully, stretching out his arms as he walked from the barrier towards the encroaching yetis.

Farming Life

Red Son wasn't much for farming life, and under normal circumstances, he wouldn't be caught dead near a farm. Except he also had a healthy appreciation for fresh herbs and vegetables. And he DID have spring powers.

It may be a good idea to start some kind of garden. So after debating the pros and cons, he decided good food was always worth a little elbow grease, so he was here, setting up barriers for the farming plots.

Pandas Picking Season

Red Son doesn't say no to power. If these golden bamboo shoots can upgrade his powers, as charged as they might be, then he wants it. Which means...

Babysitting pandas.

Well.

He's trying his best, at least. He knows he's not necessarily the most reassuring for animals, but he DID have a fairly good idea on how to shapeshift and it took about an hour, but-

Well, he was a panda himself now. Doing his best to help shepherd the baby pandas back home. At least it seems to be working fairly well.

"Come on, you little rugrats. Your mothers are back there."

Its Raining...fire

Red Son will sometimes look at the wyverns. There is a temptation to fight them, but...honestly, he's not getting paid enough for that. Especially when the job he is supposed to do is fairly easy.

He's actually just walking through the Summer segment at an easy pace, reading something on a tablet as he twirls a finger around in the air, slowly, but surely pulling all the fire he gets near into a tight ball of flame that is falling along behind him.

La Va Land

Fire based giant threat? This was just a habit of his now. Might as well use that biological burn proof body for all its worth.

Of course, the other problem is it does limit what he can do against such monsters. There is brute force, and there are the Spring powers, but air and plants are not necessarily the best at getting the job done, so it is ultimately better with a partner.

[ Saya's been training with her fire weapons nonstop (it's not like she can get much better with conventional ones), the rope dart in particular, messing around with size and cord length. She's gotten much more impressive with it than when they fought the werewolves. ]

Not being able to out-fire you isn't going to stop me from trying to impress you.

[ Taking on this request is bittersweet for Noah. On one hand, he gets to earn a lot and can avoid doing too much manual labor. On the other, he must put himself in the spotlight of gang activity, something he would rather avoid, but he knows that he needs cash. Though he doesn’t believe in destiny or fate, he does feel like this decision was made for him. Or at the very least pushed in his direction.

Undercover, it read, but not for how long. That concerned him, almost as much as the fact the law enforcement is asking for outside help on something like this. He wonders how much of his hands he’d have to sink into the mud for this?

He was told a partner would meet him right at the main entrance in Solarpeak at a designated location. Worked for him, since he clearly didn’t read the advice about doing this with a partner at the very least. Noah waited patiently, humming a tune and tapping his foot, until someone comes up to him with some purpose in their stride. ]

[ Setting up a few signs should have been easy. Long, but easy. Go down a big pipe, nothing new for him, nail a sign to one side – done. He was expecting the odd large rat or two but should have been a simple job. Should have been. ]

Some are hurt and angry, the cause of their irritation is currently being chased while holding a slightly bent pipe. Emotional Art

[ Albedo opts against the overalls, instead wearing an outfit he put together with a red shirt, rather than his typical blue. While he typically tries to find a lot of interesting or strange quests, a quest that calls for painting speaks to him. Especially when it's producing a painting that is meant to radiate positive energy. He starts a painting without hesitation - the first painting for him is Dragonspine. It's filled broad brushstrokes and though not an exact replica of the place, anyone who's been there would definitely recognize the place.

After that, he finds new canvases to paint on and fills them with a few different things - mostly things around Teyvat that he's seen or visited. Or people that he knows.

One is the painting of the docks in Ritou from when he had visited Inazuma.

Another of a view of Mondstadt when one first enters the city.

One painting that he seems to spend extra long on is one of Klee smiling. He definitely put a lot of energy into that one.

He can be found painting any of these, or standing near a completed work for a few moments as if considering what needs to be edited or changed. He'll glance towards any who may approach the paintings. ]

I should probably just let it be done.


Silent Streams

[ Albedo likes to be left to quietly contemplate when he goes about a lot of his work - so he figured a quest would be no different. It wasn't until he made his way into the Silent Mountains that he realized that there was a certain eeriness to the silence here. The quiet he likes usually still means that there's still the sounds of nature around him - like small animals bouncing through the snow in Dragonspine. He's curious enough to keep going, though, despite the uneasiness that he starts to feel when he moves about.

He hasn't noticed anyone yet, not that he'd hear another stranger approaching. Nor would they hear him, he supposes. Still, keeping himself as focused as possible will help ensure his, and perhaps another's, safety. He thinks he's getting close, but he spots someone up ahead making their way towards the spring. He picks up his pace, just slightly, to catch up to them. When he gets closer, he sees the stranger about to trip over a broken down branch and reaches out to grab the back of their shirt to stop their step.

He'll point to the ground as soon as the attention is gotten. There's no point in attempting to speak right now, right? ]

[ There's seldom to accomplish in mourning those you never knew. Whether the victims were adventurers who bit off more than they could chew, or otherwise innocent denizens of this region, there's at least solace on the side of Cloud and Ayato with the blond being able to separate his feelings from the mission at hand. As harsh as it may sound (and something Cloud and Ayaka especially were reminded of the hard way), what's done is done. What's lost is lost, with only memories to carry forward. That didn't mean that neither one were to stand idly by and let any further loss come to pass. Not when Cloud had accepted this mission with the intent of nipping this problem in the bud.

When it came to the topic of death and high-risk, Cloud was thankful that he'd even thought of living a lie long enough to back up his talk. This kind of job took a levelheaded mercenary to carry it out. Even better with a well-prepared household ensuring the traveling duo were geared up. Before departing, Ayaka had already prepared enough snacks and bento for the two to last them there and back. As for Cloud, the night before leaving Sunwaning, she'd entrusted back to him his gift. Something that would not only protect her brother, but also ensure that he was the one to bring it back to her.

Only Cloud was allowed to be the one to come back and give her the Barrier Materia, now gently glowing in the slot of his Buster Sword upon his back.

After gathering intel around the safety of the outpost en route to the Abandoned Graveyard and Flooded Woods, the two were taking a moment's reprieve to collect themselves, sitting at an intimate little table with their respective bentos. Before things get serious, they lie within the eye of the imminent storm.

All the while Cloud lets his guard down as a half-smile crosses his lips. His phone has been buzzing both in his pocket and on the table for the past couple minutes now. Cloud, uh...might have to text back some of these, Ayato. It's your sister. ]

[ Between ghoulish creeps deeper in the region of Autumn and other personal stresses, suffice to say, Cloud was at least willing to accept that he needed an outlet for the stress he'd found piling on him. Not so much physically, but... Though time is always moving forward, at times it still feels like yesterday that the young blond was waking up before his birthday to learn that Zack was gone. And not just to another mission with Shinra...but to a fate that having his memories back only served to sting him. If he mourned, it was tempered.

That's when he caught wind of a quest far removed from the blessings of Spring. Something as simple as...raking leaves. Promising that he would return home soon after he put his stamina to good use, and that this was just something to keep him busy for easy money, Cloud finds himself with a rake in hand. For some, bending over and gathering piles like he was would eventually be cause for soreness. As for our spiky-haired swordsman? He wasn't exactly...built normal. Though he was impressed to find that doing this long enough was giving him a workout! After sweeping a big enough pile and scooping them into a bag meant to dull the magical properties of the leaves, he finally decides to take a break.

There are some others doing their part, but also some that were struggling to keep their eyes open as they desperately clung to their rakes in a bid to stay upright. Some gave up and retreated with what piles they could bag. ]

[ With a sigh through his nose, he'd be lying if he said that having the time to be alone with his thoughts and memories wasn't helping. These more peaceful days...gave him a chance to drift some more. Even take the time to wonder what it'd be like if Zack were still here. ... knowing him, he can already picture the two of them competing to see who can stay awake the longest while handling a copious amount of magical leaves. And then, one of them would flop over into a big pile, only to get covered up as the impact settled.

You know. Just like that one pile with a hand hanging out the side! ]

[ Wait. Oh. Reminiscing's over. That's someone buried under a pile of leaves. Shaking his head and ridding himself of a wave of fatigue, Cloud hurries over, calling out. ]

[ He drops his rake, not about to go shoving it into the pile as he starts breaking up the pile with his hands to check on whoever got caught underneath. Cloud's going to regret that when the next wave hits. SDFJHLKA ]

{ since the initial paint and pour that kaveh set up, ayato has actually spent some of his spare time painting at home or out on the outskirts of the city. it's been calming, especially when he's had too much to think about and needed time to filter his thoughts. in this case, it's a positive activity for the moral boost it gives to the city.

his own patch has been graced with a field of flowers, a bird or two perched on the branch of a tree and a sunset.

since it's a shared space, he'll take a moment to step back and re-evaluate his own work, while making a remark to whoever is painting the space next to him this time. }

It's a shame we'll likely run out of space before long.

{ it's been long enough, and he's already managed to make it through the autumn segment again recently--with a few bumps in the road. he's already been open and honest with jean about it, already warned him that if it comes to it try and snap him out of it and they can run. there's no need to fight to the death for the sake of it, after all.

it's worrying that creatures are starting to venture further than before though, and that they've taken a liking to something that makes things much more difficult if they do.

after a break he and jean will be near the mushroom sanctuary area soon, and ayato's guard goes up tenfold the closer they are. }

I imagine some of them have already started to grow, we'll likely want to drive those that haven't away first to avoid there being more of them.

[Jean is well aware of Ayato's reservations about being in the Autumn Segment. He's ready to do what he can to help him if it's needed so they can make it back safely. Even if the situation wouldn't look dangerous to him, he'd still act if Ayato panicked.

Jean's been on this quest before with a different person, so he knows what to expect, at least.]

Yeah, that will definitely make things easier. Luckily they're pretty easy to scare off when they're small - especially the slime dislike fire.

[Off in the far distance, one of the Wyverns had just set another patch of land ablaze. Mukuro didn't know the difference, to her it just looked like another dragon. Whilst she had slain a dragon on Avalon, their assignment was to put out fires. That was the priority.]

R-right. Anyway. Largest fires to the North-East and North of our location, suggest we deploy there first.

La Va Land

[Whilst in the Summer Segment, she wanted to try and take care of this quest as well- especially as this one came with high risk.

She observed the strange looking blobs from a distance, using some binoculars to get a better view.]

Slow movement. But they're made of slime, normal weapons are unlikely to be affective.

[She certainly didn't want to charge in there with one of the combat knives she had at her waist! But then again, they might absorb bullets, too... Mukuro furrowed her brow in thought.]

01 ✦ Surprise Arrival! Looking at Quests!

[Lucy is still a new arrival as she looks over the quest board for the first time. She's turned up her nose to the word 'Guild' more times than she can count (not that shit again-) but the idea of making money keeps drawing her back to the boards. But something has her especially wary...]

Some of these look... fun? Magic carpet rides? Painting with feelings? A cooking show... What's the catch? These have got to be a scam somehow.

02 ✦ Magic Carpet Ride

[Eventually, Lucy does break and decides to take one of the quests. It sounds cheesy as hell and makes her feel like a princess, but... Actually, that's exactly why she's taking it. The but is that she can't let anyone know that she would want to feel like a magic princess for a day.

As she stands in front of the research center, ready to enroll in the experiment, she realizes something... This is a two person experiment. And she's only person. Between the money, the princess life, and already being here, Lucy isn't leaving without enrolling. So she points to the nearest person.]

[Fetch quests like this are perfect for Lucy. She can use Anne's Room to bring back larger quantities of cat nip and it'll stay fresher too. She's also a bit homesick for... Well, not a cat, per say. But you won't catch Lucy admitting that she misses a boy either.

She's about to regret ever coming here. While sitting in the grass and harvesting cat nip, Lucy makes the mistake of nibbling on a corner- Just to check if it's any good for tea. It's not enough to turn her into a cat, but it's enough to ruin her life:]

Opening Act - Choosing a Quest

Yes, yes. I can see why you would choose a star such as myself to accomplish these heroic trials!

[Tsukasa, dressed not unlike a fairytale prince, leans in to read the quest board with great interest. Although his mind has been reeling, he feels obligated to do something and help. It will help keep his mind off of everything. His smile falls somewhere between smug and confident as he talks to himself.]

There are so many here that I'm having a hard time choosing which to do first...ahhh! This must be my first test here! [A hand to his forehead adds to his theatrics.] But worry not, because I shall prevail!!!

First Act - On a Magic Carpet Ride

[It wasn't as hard of a choice as he thought. Bowing on one knee, the blonde gestures at the nearest unlucky person, his eyes closed as he rambles.]

It's blindingly clear that this quest was written with me in mind, so much so that it nearly outshines me! But what's a show with only one singer?

[He opens his eyes and smiles.]

If we're to do this, we should give it our all. Let's perform a duet!

Second Act - It's Raining ... Fire

[Apparently Tsukasa has powers. Powers outside of his sekai. He might be destined to be the greatest star, and he might live to bring stories to life onstage that will make people smile, but at the end of the day he's an ordinary person. Except he isn't anymore.

[The nearest unlucky person walks away. However, Rui's nearby and recognizes his friend's voice. He turns to see one of the people he was hoping so much would show up. A smile breaks across his face as he strides up to the other, and chuckles.]
