Ooh, don’t worry, you can sit over here.

[Guizhong has very little shame when it comes to her physical appearance and she would wholly encourage that same outlook in anybody else! She hadn’t needed to be told to discard her towel on the way in and had done so immediately, but she’s not going to judge anyone else if they prefer a bit more modesty.

But, for the sake of perhaps saving someone from loitering around too long if they look like they’re at a loss (either for a spot to sit or simply that they don’t want to be entirely naked in public) she’ll scoot herself over a bit and pat the top of the water in the spot beside her.]

Come on, then, no need to be shy.

( It's been way too long since Serah's had an excuse, or even a chance, to visit a bath like this. She shakes off the guilt pangs — the parts of her which say its wrong to be enjoying a relaxing bath, to be living as if life is normal — with reminders that she alone can't fast forward Ellipsa's problems and send herself back to Pulse in a matter of days.

She has to take her time. And breaks are just as important as hard work.

So, she walks in, towel wrapped around herself, and finds that it's quiet but for one other young woman. )

Oh-- Sure. ( Well, at least she seems friendly! ) Thank you.

[Guizhong just nods, friendly and polite, and scoots over a little to make some more room should the newcomer be not entirely comfortable with sharing the baths with a stranger.]

I like it best here at this time. Not many people come in.

[Her nose wrinkles slightly as she smiles.]

So it could just be the two of us. I'm Guizhong.

( Well, it could be much worse! Serah relaxes into the water and tugs her ponytail loose, letting her hair fan out in the water before she straightens up again. )

My name's Serah Farron. ( And, in a quick attempt to grab for some small talk, she defaults to what probably explains her status as a newbie pretty well; ) Have you been in this world long?

Oh... it must be close to a year now.

[For Guizhong, relatively, not very long at all... though she understands that a human might well see things differently. She shakes her head a little though, smiling still, and idly skates one hand against the top of the water.]

But my life has already come to an end where I came from, you see. So I suppose I am grateful for any extra time given to me.

( A whole year... It may not be so long on the surface, but it's long enough. It's more time taken away from her search for Lightning, even if that time on Pulse remains static.

But she tries not to think about that, and Guizhong's next sentence does a good job at that. New as she is, she never even thought about that being possible, and now her understanding of this place has to shift.

Oh... ( But then, what do you say to something like that? ) I guess this is a nice place to end up, too.

( All things considered! They have a nice public bath and a lot of other amenities. ) What do you do around here?

[Kisara couldn't help the relieved smile on her face, the other woman making her feel quite at ease as she stepped toward the steaming baths in nothing but a towel covering her body. While Kisara wasn't exactly nervous being around naked people, it wasn't the norm for her either.

Still, after all the traveling she had done with the others, public bathing (when the boys weren't around, anyway) had become common. So, with a nod, she stepped towards the edge and unwrapped the towel from her muscled frame and folded it neatly to the side before stepping into the heated waters.

She sighed softly as it eased her overworked body from training.]

[She smiles warmly and nods her head in greeting as the other woman joins her. While she hadn't come here necessarily expecting company she isn't going to turn it down, gregarious as she is, and she shifts in place to straighten up and rest her arms on her thighs.]

It's nice to meet you. You don't mind if I chatter, do you? I haven't had a conversation all day that wasn't with someone trying to sell me something more than I walked into the shop for.
