BEACH PARTY

The sun is shining, a cool, crisp ocean breeze flutters across the shores of Solarpeak Beach. There's not a single cloud in the sky, the perfect day to have a party! Whether you heard about it through Yoimiya's network post, word of mouth or just happen to stumble onto the festivities, everyone is invited to Ellipsa's scorching hot Beach Bonfire Party! Grab your swimsuits, sun dresses, or whatever you feel the most comfortable in, and join in on the fun.

Gonna Soak Up the Sun

Through the combined efforts of Sisu, Yoimiya, and the many kind volunteers who lent their assistance in setting up the venue, the beach party is here and open to the public! Upon arrival, everyone will be given a choice of colorful, handmade hibiscus leis or bracelets to adorn for the party. They aren't mandatory in the slightest, just a cute little thank-you gift to those who are attending. After receiving a warm welcome from the hosts, you're free to set off and have fun! Meet up with friends or introduce yourself to new people from distant worlds, the party is your oyster. Of course, there will be plenty of other activities to partake in as well. Venture forth to the fun!

Feeling brave and daring? Sitting on top of the ocean is an inflatable balance beam built especially for water jousting. Foam joust poles and life jackets (if you wish to wear one!) will be given to would-be challengers looking to scratch the itch for a fight. The goal is to assert your dominance by knocking adversaries into the water and be the last person standing. Show off your strength and become the champion of the beach!

Perhaps you might be in the mood for a bit of fun in the sand. A large area of the beach is sectioned off for the grand Sandcastle Competition. Solarpeak residents from all across the city are bustling with excitement, flocking in to watch the artists do their magic, so go wild with your creations and give them a good show! Buildings, any kind of sculpture, or even just a basic castle are all accepted, let your imagination run free. You can even drag a buddy in for a helping hand if your work of art requires assistance. For the winner, the grand prize is a summer gift basket filled with goodies for a nice relaxing spa day at home. Tucked away inside the basket are gift cards to various restaurants in Ellipsa. Don't fret if you aren't interested in participating! Anyone is welcome to walk around and marvel at the competitor's creations.

A Feast for All

The hosts are bound and determined to ensure that no one leaves this beach hungry. If you're craving a cold tasty treat to stave off the heat, a bustling shaved ice stall is here to cool down roasting attendees. An endless variety of flavors are available for mixing and matching, waiting to quench your thirst. If you are feeling adventurous, there are a few questionable flavors on the menu such as Bacon, Durian, Jalapeño, Ketchup, Mushroom, Pickle juice and Seaweed. Try them at your risk or if your palette is "hungry" for something more on the "unique" side.

For those who made inquiries about alcohol, special arrangements have been made! A small pop-up bar has been set up for today's joyous occasion. The bar's pride and joy is a variety of summer-themed cocktails but you can also find other basic liquor or non-alcoholic drinks if your tastebuds are craving simplicity. To go alongside the refreshing beverages, food is also provided at this small establishment. Some of the dishes on the menu are: kebabs with a hint of rum, peach bruschetta, spring rolls, fish and chips, crab hush puppies, and a spicy jalapeño popper dip (you can also ask for the ghost pepper version of this dip if you are feeling brave). All the hosts ask is that visitors to the bar be mindful of the people who can't or aren't interested in drinking.

Decorated across the shores of the beach are tables, picnic blankets, and sizzling hot grills for the designated picnic area. In a similar fashion to the potluck that took place a while back, several tables have been set up for those who like to go crazy in the kitchen or wish to advertise their food business by bringing samples to share.

Time flies when so much fun is taking place! As the last light of day begins to fade, the stars come out to brighten up the night sky on this clear summer day. However, just because there's no more sunlight, doesn't mean the party is over. Far from it! There's still lots of excitement to be had for the attendees who wish to stick around for the night festivities.

A Midsummer Night's Glow

On the middle of the beach, a blazing bonfire burns ever so brightly inside a log fire pit. Eat snacks, catch up with friends, meet new people, or get cozy with others should one be feeling touch starved. In need of an icebreaker? A game of truth or dare or telling scary stories makes for a good way to pass the time. Maybe you'll have a fateful encounter and land yourself a date before the night is over.

With a sky full of beautiful stars, a bustling bonfire, and a large open space, the atmosphere is perfect for dancing. The DJ for the evening is the bright and energetic Aimoto Rinku, here to bust out an array of sick beats with her turntable. There's plenty of fun to be had in a group conga line or grab a partner for a slow, romantic bolero, and dance to whatever music piques your interest. A small makeshift stage is also set up for those who wish to sing, Rinku will be more than happy to work with any potential performers. From upbeat EDM to ballads, all types of genres fill the air with music. Let loose, enjoy the melody, and dance the night away!

Festive Mementos

For one of the hosts, summer just isn't the same without fireworks exploding across the sky. To end the evening with a bang, a beautiful barrage of fireworks paints the night sky in various colors and patterns. As a final gift to the attendees, Yoimiya has prepared sparklers for everyone to play with. There are a variety of colors to choose from, pink, red, blue, green, orange, purple, yellow, etc. No matter what color catches your fancy, with a little flick of the wand, all of them appear like twinkling stars sparkling and flickering across the stick.

To end off the light show, fireworks representing each of the seasons burst into the sky. Blue snowflakes for Winter, pink cherry blossoms for spring, a yellow sun for Summer, and red maple leaves for Autumn. After the vibrant display, a final golden ray of light flickers and explodes into a bright, heartwarming message for all of the guests. "Thank you for attending! You are all amazing! Let's have a great time in Ellipsa!"

[Rinku will be spending most of the night staffing the stage! Rinku's got a DJ booth there with a cutesy logo printed on a banner courtesy of Izuku, and she'll be running the turntables, singing with the music, and dancing around. She's got an assortment of music, though a lot is her own and her unit's. Also, if you want to sing, she will absolutely let you.

But when Rinku needs to take a break, you can still find her at the shaved ice stall, making a face as she takes her first bite...]

[At the end of the night, Rinku is packing up her stuff, but she'll wave over anyone she knows who passes by. ...or, really, anyone. Girl thinks everyone is her friend.]

He's wearing a t-shirt and shorts instead of swim trunks because he definitely doesn't want to give everyone a full display of his new scars. Sadly, the t-shirt is plain white, so hopefully there won't be a sudden water attack on him cause they'd likely shine through. He also has a fedora to protect him from the sun.

Jean can be found doing the following:

• Watching his Totodile swimming and running back and forth.

• "Enjoying" a shaved ice, which is to say he got a random flavor and it's jalopenos. He's not used to having spicy things nor is he sure if this really works but he's not going to to just not eat it. That's wasting food.

• Trying all kinds of other food there is, out of curiosity.

• Generally just sitting in a shade and watching people or reading a book. Just minding his own business, basically. Occasionally his Totodile is there, too, enjoying a break next to his trainer.

• Watching the bonfire or the fireworks in the late night with his own green sparkler.]

[His lance is at the ready, staring down his opponent from his own beam. Of course, he's not beneath using his own hydro powers to help keep him on balance, nor is he afraid to use it to gain speed to hit his opponent harder in the chest. But part of the fun of fighting is the shit talking, and he's got that in spades.]

I expected someone more seasoned for this type of thing, [he says as he looks you over,] but I suppose you'll just have to do. Don't blink lest you find yourself already defeated, hahaha.

B. Sandcastle Competition

[For those who may know him, finding him playing in the sand and actually putting a real effort into making a sandcastle might be strange. He's taking it very seriously, and he looks delighted to be doing it. He's using tools made of electro to shape the sand, aiming to build something that kind of looks like this, a building from his homeland (that they buried a Harbinger in looool) that sports the architecture of Snezhnaya that he will very happily wax poetic to people about if asked. Whether or not he actually does a good job of building it to actually look like that is a completely different story however...

The electro seems to make the sand melt in places, giving it a glassy look here and there that he tries to smooth out to it looks nice, but it's still a lot more difficult to work with sand over the packing snow he's so used to.

It's going...kind of okay for him. He's not really the artsy type.]

The shaved ice stall is one he definitely has to hit up, but he's trying something more normal to start, and cherry sounded like a great option. He's eyeing some of the weirder options, wondering if any of those are a good idea...]

And no, Ayaka isn't going to be wearing a bikini in front of so many people... She's got a light dress on, and will not be swimming agsdgs she'll just socialise with everyone, because in all honesty, she does need it.

She's also got a little Eevee following her around! Yes, it has a flower crown.

[ Ayaka actually passes by the shaved ice stall every now and then. The place is hot, and she needs something cool! And it's just ice with all kinds of flavoured syrup, but she can't help but want to try every single flavour. Feel free to have seen her with a different coloured cup! And for the extra observant? The ice doesn't seem to melt at all. Huh! What's up with that?

Even though she doesn't want to finish the pickle juice flavoured shaved ice. . . she can't just throw it away, can she? So she has to be brave and try to finish it. . . even if she looks so disinterested and is about to cry all alone in her picnic spot. ]

[ Her tolerance for alcohol isn't all that high, since she doesn't drink alcohol all that often. Sake is okay, because it's just a couple of sips during important parties, but that's about it! It was only during her time in another world that she's explored all kinds of drinks. Hearing about a kind of tea that's infused with alcohol, she couldn't help but be curious!

And now she has become extra bubbly, thanks to it... ]

Yoimiya and Miss Sisu did really well, didn't they? [ She's hitting up just about anyone she sees to check on them. SOAK UP THE SUN

Eren doesn't really know much about swimwear so he shows up, you know, fully dressed. It's easy enough to lose his shirt somewhere, leaving just pants. He rolls the legs up and deals with that the rest of the time. Does he stand out wearing pants and nothing else? PROBABLY, but that's what he had so that's what he's wearing!

He watches water jousting for awhile with at least some level of interest. He doesn't volunteer, but he could very easily be roped into this. He's got a competitive streak, after all. He likes to tatakae win, even if he's not always good at winning.

He might offhandedly ask someone, "What are they building stuff out of sand for? Won't it wash away?"

Or he just wanders into the edge of the waves looking at seashells. He's tall and intense and distant, like a storm brewing on the horizon. He's (probably) not immediately dangerous. Interrupt his weirdo thoughts if you like!

It is entirely fine if you want to hand wave that you've met him or talked to him before, and it is also entirely fine to assume you know about the titan thing. It's not a secret at all and he's fairly open about it, though he's not open about all the abilities he has as a titan. But if it makes CR easier, just skip the introduction part (let me know this in your tag and I'll follow the lead there).

A FEAST FOR ALL

Eren might be absolute shit at socialisation but you know what he's good at? Trying food he's never had! Food wasn't easily accessible or all that varied at home for most of his life, and he loves trying things here.

Shaved ice? He's absolutely in for that (he picks normal flavours only, though, mostly fruit. Probably peach because that's a running shingeki theme right now. He might eat this too fast and get a headache, having learned nothing from all the times he's tried ice cream. Whoops!

He might have a fruity drink but it's the non-booze kind. He made a very good decision for once in his life and decided that being anything but sober while at the ocean would be a bad plan! He's got enough shaky reality problems without making it worse.

He will also try pretty much whatever other food there is, including ghost pepper dip. He has a thing for spicy food. This might be intense even for him. This can go a couple ways. A, your character has it and he asks them what it is. B, your character dares him. C, he just tries it for the hell of it.

As above, feel free to hand wave any introductions or assume prior meetings/network convos if that's easier for CR purposes.

FESTIVE MEMENTOS

He stays later into the evening because it's not like he has anywhere to be and what is linear time anyway? No clue! Someone shoves a sparkler into his hand and he stands there staring at it like it's magic. To him, it pretty much is. He's absolutely stupid about this and it will burn all the way down to his fingers. It startles him and he drops the burned out stick onto the sand, shaking his hand with surprise. No big deal, though, that burn just heals right away. Weird, right? Don't worry about it (or do).

Finally, were you looking for some of the weird shit? I got you. TW for allusions to war/death/attack on titan shit/reality issues/ptsd

Fireworks. They're cool, right? They're pretty. But when Eren stares up at them, he hears them more than he sees them. They're loud and they remind him of other things, the sounds of cannons, thunderspears, straight up bombs. He's lived through hell, through war. Whatever he's seeing stops being fireworks. It's there on his face, though, something blank and faraway. For Eren, it happens in real time all around him, though he doesn't move. Anyone observing this can see the set of his shoulders change, the way his breath might turn towards shallow, panicked, the way his fists clench at his sides.

He forgets when in time he is, where he is. It might only take a minute. It might take five. He might snap himself out of it. If he does, he'll turn and just leave, quickly, heedless of anyone in his way. Sorry if he runs into you!

Or someone else could try and snap him out of it. Say his name, try to touch him (he won't attack anyone, probably), throw water on him (don't do this. Or do, I'm not your dad), whatever might help.

LATER after whatever the hell all of that was, he can maybe be normal and appreciate the fireworks for how cool they are. Sort of normal, anyway. He won't freak out again entirely now that it's passed. But he might wonder (out loud) what the difference is between these and weapons. Barrel of laughs at all times, this one.

Jean is used to fireworks by now. Of course, at first they weren't exactly pleasant to hear, even for him, but he got past that relatively well (mostly because at his point in timeline, he hasn't had to live through the worst fights yet). So he can actually relax and watch them.

But, in the corner of his eye he notices Eren. His features are colored by the current fireworks in the sky and he's staring at the sky, frozen. Eren is tense and clenching his hands into fists.

Of course, Jean is fine with them. But this must be the first time for Eren and the others. And who knows what kind of battles they've gone through in the future, for these sounds and flashing lights to remind them of something unpleasant.

( After finishing her sandcastle, Hazel still wants to play in the sand! It's hard to believe that this grown woman is over 700 years old from how youthful and playful she is. She rarely gets to enjoy the beach like this, and she's enjoying the sensation of the soft sand between her toes. The white dress that she is wearing over her bikini is likely getting caked in sand but she doesn't care in the least! Suddenly: idea! )

( Just like all fairies, Hazel loves a music session! Fae folk love to sing! She's brought her guitar along with her and is happy to belt out a few tunes to the party-goers! She has a beautiful singing voice with a gentle vibrato - she can't stop herself from smiling as she plays and sings. After her latest song, she pauses. )

( This fire is so nice. Plus, everyone's playing truth or dare right now! As the game goes on, Amber is keeping an eye on her Scorbunny - nicknamed Count Cottontail - who is wandering really close to the fire ... but he seems to be enjoying himself, so it's all good. He's a fire bunny, he's just living his best life! )

Be careful, Count Cottontail! Why don't you come sit in my lap?

1) Gonna Soak Up the Sun

[Hijikata saw Yoimiya's network post while lurking on the network, and despite being a bit of a workaholic he's really been looking forward to the beach party. He needs a break! (He thought he was getting one when the underground mall opened, but then that kind of went south...)

He rolls up in tropical-leaf-patterned swim shorts and an open hoodie (which soon gets stuffed into his towel bag in favour of a hibiscus lei). Usually he might have volunteered as life guard or such, but there are so many people here who can get a drowning person out of the water faster than him, this time he's going to kick back!! While his tepig runs off to dig holes in the sand he lies down and enjoys the sun.

When he sits up to drink some water a bit later he notices some people jousting on the float. Immediately his competitive streak is awoken.]

2) A Feast for All

[Somehow Hijikata's tepig finds its way back to him right when he's gotten something to eat (a wild assortment of grilled meat, seafood, and a bacon-flavoured shaved ice bowl), along with a huge cocktail. He maneuvers through the busy picnic area to find seating.]

3) A Midsummer Night's Glow

[Hijikata makes sure to avoid the 'Truth or Dare' game (so he doesn't get embarrassed) and the scary storytelling group (so he doesn't get spooked). Instead he ends up sitting under some lanterns, simply enjoying the atmosphere as he lights himself a cigarette with his fire magic.]

4) Festive Mementos

[Getting treated to fireworks for the second festival in a row is amazing! Hijikata watches the explosions in the night sky with fond nostalgia, thinking of past festivals on Earth and Prismatica (after putting his tepig into its pokéball - it came running to him when the loud noise woke it up from its nap). But he should focus on the here and now, shouldn't he? They have a new, current mission, and luckily there are many good people here to fulfill it.

If he notices anyone near him shivering due to not having brought any warmer clothes for the night he'll offer his hoodie.]

He also has his knee brace strapped on his left leg as usual. ]

[Lelouch sure is wearing a speedo and totally unself-conscious about it as he relaxes by the water, likely monopolizing the hell out of a beach chaise or something. The last time he'd attended an event like this, he'd spent most of it working, but now that his bakery is more established, he feels entirely justified in taking it easy for a while. (Also possible: napping. Naps are also nice. He'll very definitely be under some kind of umbrella and in no danger of burning, though, so at least there's that.)

When he's not napping, reading, or indulging in some lazy people-watching, though, he'll be working on his entry for the Sandcastle Competition, which may in fact be a scale model of Ashford Academy that he... is having some trouble with.]

How is anyone supposed to... are there custom molds?

[Forget the buckets and shovels, honestly; he gives up on them completely at some point in favor of using Autumn's earth manipulation abilities to, at the very least, make an accurate representation of the clubhouse before he moves on to anything else. Even if he doesn't win, it's good practice, isn't it?]

[Around lunch time, Lelouch makes Suzaku set up arranges for a scaled down version of his art festival crepe stall to contribute to the feast. Copies of Equinox Bakery's menu may be easily found as well, and yes, yes he is being quite thorough in ensuring that he's once again using napkins and crepe holders and so on with his bakery's logo, but, look, he's just being practical.]

[As for the fireworks...

For multiple reasons, Lelouch is noticeably more subdued while he watches them. He's quick to put on a smile if anyone happens to wander by, but when there's no one in his immediate vicinity (or if it's Suzaku), his gaze will fall to the sand, the water, and the by now probably eroded and unrecognizable sand clubhouse he'd assembled earlier.]

[Makoto saw the invitation on the network while he was browsing around one day. He debated about going a couple of times before he settled on going. He needed to get out more and get to know more people! He may have been nervous, but he got a swimsuit then walked down to the beach to join the party. He walked around to see the amazing sand castles on his way to the shaved ice stall. Once he got his melon shaved ice, he couldn't believe they had it, he took a seat and looked around.]

Everything looks so amazing.

[At night you can see him at the bonfire enjoying snacks and joining others by the fire. He doesn't mind joining in the game of truth or dare it sounds like a lot of fun! Who knows maybe when he's finished with his snacks he'll want to sing.]

[At the end he definitely doesn't miss the firework show. He always looked forward to that part of the night back home that he's excited he gets a chance to look at it in this new world. 🡆 [They also brought their freshly acquired Pokemon to the outing, because the day is far too nice for the little Sprigatito to be cooped up inside. Being a plant cat it detests the water but loves napping in the sun, so the Pokemon is content to lazy about on a beach towel placed on the sand, guarding all of Hange's possessions such as shoes and food that are hastily discarded beside it.]

🡆 [For the most part however they can be found by the water, trousers rolled up above the knees as they carry around a little plastic bucket and spade that was meant for the sandcastle competition but is being repurposed. Wading through the rockpools and shallower waters, they seem to be having the time of their life searching through all their weird sea life they come across.]

[When not snoozing or building sandcastles he may be watching his Oshawott play around in the water or teaching it to do headers with his football because obviously little Bonobono is going to be the greatest otter-striker in the world!]

[Having helped Aimoto Rinku set up her music and her stage it’s no surprise that Izuku is watching and enjoying the music. He’s not much of a dancer but he likes listening to the music that Rinku’s put so much effort into. It’s nice to get a chance to enjoy it.

Meanwhile, Izuku will be at the bonfire with a little collection of skewered meats like pork and chicken where he’s setting up to do a little mini cookout. He’s always liked cooking outdoors on the beach and he hasn’t done that in a long while.]

And generally, he busies himself with causing as much chaos as he can, mostly because it's entertaining to both his siblings (Lemmy, mostly) and himself, and sometimes the minions. But this isn't home, they're not here, and so for once, he's been more or less people watching all day.

Unfortunately, there's someone close by that he recognizes immediately. With a fruity (non alcoholic, of course) beverage in is hand, he casually approaches, as if they are just the best of best buddies. Small talk sucks, but, it's better than nothing. Probably. ]

Party not to your liking? Can't say as I blame you. This isn't the worst party I've been to, but it sure ain't the best, either.

only when he does, mochi seems to shrink to the sand and put her paws over her nose with a whine, at least she seems to be tired and calmed down by now. }

i. Gonna Soak Up the Sun

[It's general curiosity that brings him but a love of people and celebration that keeps him there once he sees what's going on. E'kayan is by no means a wallflower and quite happily social-butterflies his way across the party chatting to anyone who will talk back to him.

On the balance beam he holds a foam joust pole in both hands, having foregone a jacket (since he can swim) for the sake of having better range of movement. He's a mage and not often a melee fighter but there's a lot of strength packed into his small body, and he grins at his opponent as he settles himself against the beam.]

Don't go easy on me.

[Or, later on, he can be found taking part in the sandcastle competition. E'kayan grew up by the sea and has built many a sandcastle in his time, but he's not really taking the competition too seriously. What he's putting together is something reminiscent of Ishgard architecture, if you squint, using a few small tools to carve out details. As the shadow of someone joining him fall across him or he senses someone nearby, the tip of his tail flicks on the sand and he looks up with a smile.]

Oh, hey. Uh, what do you think?

ii. A Feast for All

[Shaved ice? Yes please! He sticks to the more... safe-sounding flavours and isn't easily persuaded into trying anything questionable, but he'll watch curiously with his raspberry and peach shaved ice while someone else picks something like mushroom or pickle juice.]

Heh-- you're braver than me.

[Afterwards, once he's located the cocktail bar (and managed to persuade the servers that he is, in fact, a grown adult despite only being five-foot-three), he leans against the bar with an alcoholic drink in his hand while he waits for the snack he ordered. Turns out that sandcastle building is hungry work even if you are just having fun with it.

He looks peculiarly solemn as his attention moves over the people milling about, but there's always a small smile for anyone who happens to catch his eye.]

iii. Festive Mememtos

[E'kayan loves fireworks. He's playing with a sparkler - a pink one, specifically - when the first of them shoots up into the sky he watches it with wide eyes and dilated pupils as it rises higher and explodes into a shower of glittering sparks.]

Wow...

[The sparkler is almost forgotten, though he does absent-mindedly twitch it back and forth as his attention stays on the fireworks. His ears and tail twitch and flick each time one of the loud bangs sounds out but he doesn't take his eyes off the display for a moment, watching it with an almost child-like kind of wonder.]

That's... really something.

[Ren is definitely taking most out of the party. A Popplio occasionally follows him around but also disappears into the water to take a nice long swim.

For food he has a plate full of everything that is spicy. From the mildest of spice to the hottest that could be found. He even has a pint of jalopeno shaved ice and he seems to love it.

He can also be found from the bar area with a tropical drink in hand.

Otherwise he's either sunbathing somewhere around the beach, unless someone challenges him to water jousting. He would very much accept the challenge, even if he's not a fighter but it sounds fun.]


Evening

[Ren is definitely spending most of the night dancing with anyone or even alone, but when there's an opportunity he is definitely singing. He is an idol, after all. Singing is what he does and he will use ever opportunity to do so.

Later he will be holding an orange sparkler and then watching the fireworks Yoimiya prepared with a content smile on his face.]

He's not very used to drinking and his mood is only getting better as he continues trying out various colourful cocktails. Eventually, he sets off to look for company and he soon finds you. He's laughing, unable to keep his balance and feeling very clingy. If you happen to be a friend of his, he'll be gluing himself to your shoulder in no time.]

WATER JOUSTING

Having wandered right into this whole event — on top of which he has never seen or been to a beach party in his life — Cal is woefully overdressed. He's so used to living day in and day out wearing so many layers in every weather condition that he doesn't think twice about it.

Truth be told, he was just going to stay in his room the whole day, but after a lot of prodding and loud beeping — BD insisted that they go out and explore as they always do — he realized that hiding away and sulking never got him anywhere before, and it won't now. And so here he is.

Eventually, he finds himself drawn to the water jousting platform. After he finds out what it is exactly, he decides it's the perfect distraction. Clear his head, hone his reflexes, almost like a sparring session. And yes, he is indeed still wearing all those clothes, plus one droid hanging out on his back.

These foam poles are light, Cal spinning it in his hands like someone who has done this a million times before. Which isn't untrue, technically. It's just like holding a bigger, softer, lighter, bulkier lightsaber, right?

FIREWORKS

Cal is surprised he stayed out here for as long as he did, but he's glad. He can't help but stare up at the fireworks, mouth hanging open slightly. BD-1 does an excited tap on his back as he also watches the display. His little feet dig into his back a bit, but he's so used to it by now it doesn't bother him much.

"Pretty cool huh, BD?"

Beeoop - boop! Beep!

"Yeah...I know what you mean. Nice seeing friendly explosions, for once."

"Hey — you say that like it's always my fault."

[ Saya has been eavesdropping on this "conversation" between the man and his robot(?) (look she's extremely new to the whole AI thing but she'll pick up proper terms quickly) with soft amusement. ]

🍡 Water Jousting

[ Well if there's one thing that's definitely caught Thoma's eye, it's the inflatable balance beam and the challenge tied to it. It takes him a few minutes to get his footing, giving a few experimental bounces on the thing before grinning and taking up a jousting pole. It doesn't quite spin like a polearm, but that isn't going to stop him from trying. ]

🍡 Shaved Ice Experimentations

[ Thoma's found his way to the shaved ice,a nd more importantly, he's found his way to the more. Interesting ingredients. Many of which he's staring at in both sheer confusion and intrigue. If they were here, maybe there was something to the flavor combinations after all? ]

[ Or Thoma has been exposed to way too many strange flavor combinations and has adjusted his expectations to match that. Likely the latter. ]

I wonder if bacon and pickle juice would be a paltable combination...

[ There's only two people Thoma would naturally fear this game from and hopefully neither of them find him engaging in this fun-sounding little game. Surely no one else would use the opportunity to bully him either, so really, what was there to lose? ]

[ A fun evening at the beach topped off with a literally sparkling end! Thoma can be found with a few blue sparklers in one hand and a cup of warm (nonalcoholic) cider in the other, tracing idle shapes in the air as he finally winds down from the energetic and literally stomach-churning afternoon he's had already.
