[Oh. She was at least smart enough to realise what that meant. And to remember what Jean had told her about them before- that there had been Shifters who'd infiltrated and betrayed them. But he had also mentioned one that had been on their side...that must be this person, then.]

Isn't that a good thing? We can probably use a titan on our side, depending on what large monsters may be out there in the Seasonal Segments. If the toucans are already man-sized how big do you think the bears and jaguars will be?

They met when they were kids, grew up together, all that stuff. Family, more than friends. So of course I'm happy for her he's here, it's just complicated on my part.

[He's not jealous or worried Eren would make him an Mikasa grow apart or anything, just general jealous of how much time Mikasa will spend with him. Which is completely understandable, they haven't met in years when before they saw each other everyday. But he couldn't help it. He's just too used to having Mikasa to himself.]

We've never gotten along, even if we're allies. Friends, even, just the type that always argues and fights, but works together when the situation calls for it.

[Hijikata just likewise looks at Jean while eating his pizza. Well? Is Eren a capable combatant? Sorry Jean, he's never really experienced jealousy. Okita, on the other hand, would be able to understand Jean's feelings completely: He'd been living a happy life, cared for by his older sister and surrogate big brother, until Hijikata showed up one day and drew the attention of both.

Basically: He's the Eren in his story.]

[Mukuro finally getting it makes Jean blush a little bit. That's telling enough it's exactly what he had been thinking. But as he thought to himself already, it's fine and he'd learn to deal with it.]

He is. He's gone through the same hell I did to graduate. And while I hate admitting to it, he was fifth out of the top ten in our class who graduated. Beating me by one.

[Mukuro took the time to taste her sushi, thinking about the best way to reassure Jean- after all, she wasn't sure how to approach this herself. Back at Hope's Peak, she'd contented herself to creepily stare at watch Makoto from a distance. Jean was...actually involved with Mikasa. That made it a bit of a different situation.

Plus, well, she definitely got feeling annoyed that he'd beaten him in the combat rankings!]

That's a good idea. With all the knight training and questing experience under your belt I bet you'll kick his ass now, Jean.

But honestly, just do what you've done back home with him. Even if you two butt heads, isn't it alright?

He's from the future, so it's likely he's stronger too. I want to say I'm stronger of us, but I can't back that up.
