Keep it Clean

Part 1

All of the four guilds are hosting a spring cleaning weekend. There are plenty of things to do! Organizing tools, prepping ready-to-go adventure packages for future endeavors, throwing out old and used things that can't be repaired to give some examples. There's a lot of activity in the buildings and anyone who even glances at them will be pestered to join.

Everyone who participates in the event will get a free ready-to-go adventure package that they can take with them next time they're going questing. The package includes rations, barrier stones, enchanted ropes, emergency one-use travel crystals & as a set of segment-appropriate tools: ice axes & - picks made of crystals to pierce even tougher surfaces, gravity boots that keep someone down during any kind of wind, portable fans that keep someone nicely cool and a cape that turns into a full rain and thunder proof raincoat when the first drops fall.

All of it is, however, a coverup. On Friday, a message was sent to all otherworlders, telling them about the upcoming mission preparations being masqueraded as a spring cleaning event. They still haven't found whoever has been leaking information, so this is a way to keep them out of the loop. Further details of the mission will be given on Monday through the same method.

There's also a request to keep an eye on any of the guild staff in case they do something suspicious or ask too many questions.

Part 2

The message on Monday is cancelled. Instead, come Sunday evening all of the lights flicker and disappear from the city. Not long after most of the electricity in the city also gets cut off. Panic starts spreading in the city and locals start running around, bumping into each other in the darkness.

Some of the districts do have backup generators that they can use to maintain important devices. There are also movable generators that can be delivered to other locations as needed and otherworlders are asked to help move them more quickly.

Despite electricity being restored, the light sources still malfunction. Any lamps just stay dark, almost as if the lightbulbs have burned out. Yet changing them doesn't do anything. Even the tacky neon signs are out of order. The only sources of light are flashlights, candles and whatever magic and abilities can do at this point.

Because even the night sky seems to be entirely too dark.

When The Lights Go Out

Part 1

In the segments, the nights become even darker than before. The moon and the stars disappear from the sky, leaving behind only a blank black canvas. Creatures and plants with the ability to glow or otherwise provide light are the only things that can be seen in the distance.

Hours pass by and morning comes, but the sky is still pitch black. Even the sun has disappeared from the sky and it's impossible to tell the time of day. All of the creatures in the Segments are unpredictable due to this weird change - even aggressive.

Anyone with the ability to get to the skies will note that it's not that the objects of the sky have disappeared; it's like something is blocking them. It's a black veil that feels impossible to break and touching it will make someone suffer from burn damage (even if they'd be resistant to fire). The part of the body that touched the black veil will be stained with black curse energy that will start to spread across the body.

Following the black veil it looks like it's truly spread around the whole world. The dragons will inform anyone they find that there are mysterious black rods near the barriers that are sending energy towards the skies. They tried to get rid of them but they have the same effect as the black veil.

Part 2

Inside the city chaos worsens. Criminals start targeting locals and stores all over the places, robbing whatever they get their hands on. For some reason it seems that all of the criminals are able to see just fine. Anyone who is connected to the crime questboard will have received special contact lenses that will let them see normally in complete darkness.

To make matters worse the Nightwake Main Police Station is under attack as well. Criminals are escaping their jail cells and taking hostages. They range from petty thieves to serial killers. The police force is doing whatever they can to capture them again and protect the citizens. Many of the escapees won't go down without a fight, and some might force a lethal confrontation.

A group of the Nightshade gang is also headed to find the Doctor to release him, armed with weapons and bombs that contain poison. They are determined to free their 'Master' and bring him to safety.

Otherworlders are called to help with the situation. They're even offered all kinds of safety gear, including bulletproof vests and masks that protect from poison. Even all of the four guild leaders can be seen fighting criminals, both inside the police station and outside.

Part 3

Criminals aren't the only danger in the city during the darkness. Creatures of the night start appearing. A clan of vampires that has been hiding in the city's darkest corners take a step forward, targeting anyone for blood. These vampires look very much like humans, but it's all just a glamour and anyone who has the ability to see through them will see their true forms.

Vampires are humanoid creatures, but they're very monster-like otherwise. Their skin is pale and their eyes are blood red. In addition to their sharp fangs, they also have very long nails. Depending on how fed they are, their appearance will change. Those who have recently had blood will look 'healthy' and resemble humans more closely, while those starving look like they're about to wither away.

Being bit by a vampire doesn't necessarily turn anyone into one. However the risk gets higher the longer the vampire feeds on the person. Those left on the brink of death will turn into a vampire unless they die first. Those turned into vampires are likely to attack the first person they see due to hunger.

Vampires can't stand in the sun for long periods of time, otherwise they will burn. They also can't see their reflection on the mirror, which is also a way to identify one. All of the vampires also have superhuman strength and speed and can only be killed by either a stab to their heart or by decapitation.

Tied Up Solution

Part 1

The situation in Nightwake takes a positive turn as all the electricity and lights are fully restored by Wednesday. The skies, however, still continue to be pitch black.

Most of the criminals start retreating, attempting to flee back into their hideouts. Some, however, continue their crime sprees stubbornly and get more reckless without the cover of darkness. Some of them are even trying to destroy all of the streetlights to bring back their cover.

The worst of the chaos at the police station dies down by Thursday evening. There are still criminals on the run and the whole place is a mess, but the greatest dangers have been dealt with. What happened to the Doctor is still a mystery as the part of the building he was in collapsed during the fights. Until the debris has been cleared out they will assume the Doctor missing.

The guild leaders start figuring out a solution to what is happening with the sky, together with the Fairy Queen, the Dragon Lord, the Mermaid Queen and the Siren King.

Part 2

On Saturday the guild leaders contact all of the otherworlders. A solution to their problem has been found after investigation and analyzation. Everyone is asked to gather at the guilds as soon as possible.

Everyone is tasked to travel to one of the edges of the barrier, as marked on the map. They're the locations of the dark rods that are creating the black veil on the sky. The dragons will take anyone there quickly with their fast travel abilities.

There the otherworlders are tasked to work in pairs or groups and stand somewhere near the dark rod without touching it. They're provided with a special fairy ribbon that is tied around their hands.

Once everything is set up, the task is to channel both touch energy and magical energy into the ribbon. This will take time and concentration and all of the people connected to the ribbon have to achieve harmony. This may fail, but it can always be attempted again.

Only once the required energies are in the ribbon will it move and touch the dark rod, clearing a portion of the dark energy away from it. If someone's concentration fails at the last moment the spell will backfire and send them flying backwards. There's also a risk of getting a part of the corruption due to it.

After enough people have used the ribbon to clear the darkness from the rod it will turn white and break, leaving glittering particles in the air. A portion of the sky is freed from the veil. Once all of the rods are gone, the skies return to normal.

Those who have at any point gotten corrupted by the black veil or the dark rods will find that their corruption starts clearing in the sun- or moonlight. However, some may end up not healing properly, depending on how far the corruption has gone. They are invited to the Fairy Kingdom for some intense healing that will take 24 hours - and a lot of fairy dust.

Part 3

Once again the otherworlders are regarded as heroes. There would be a party, but the city is a huge mess after the chaos. However, they are promised a big feast once everything has been cleared out and made right again.

For now everyone receives a hefty prize of 10,000 Moon Coins and gift cards to either a nice spa weekend or a fancy restaurant.

• Guild leaders and the various leaders of other races start working on a solution

• On Saturday (May 24th) the guild leaders contact all of the otherworlders, asking them to gather at the guilds

• Using a magical fairy ribbon tied to each of the group's hands, they will work together to destroy the dark rods bit by bit

• Sun-/Moonlight will cure the corruption, unless it has spread too far - in that case the Fairies will invite the person for some intense healing that will take 24 hours - and a lot of fairy dust

Keep it Clean  - Part II

When the lights go out, Saya immediately activates the light powers that her tattoo gave her, turning into a walking, incandescent light source (though trying not to blind people's dark-adjusted eyes, so she keeps it gentle).  She starts trying to help move generators and providing a light source for anyone who needs it.


When the Lights Go Out - Part I

After the generators are in place, Saya extends her white bat wings and takes to the sky, still glowing with light, trying to see what's going on.

"What's this?" she asks herself, extending a hand toward what she can see is a dark barrier, yanking her hand back with a hiss when it burns her hand.  (She glances at it, but when you have instant healing abilities, you don't examine injuries very closely.)

Her expression hardening with determination, Saya backs up and tries to fly right through the veil, figuring at her speed and strength might be able to break it, and if it hurts her, she'll heal right away, so who better?

"--Ah!" she cries out as she succeeds only at getting both wings corrupted with darkness.  She tries to fly, but her wings aren't working, and so she falls from the sky.


When the Lights Go Out - Part III

Vampires.  Of course.

Saya hates these guys, they give her kind a bad name with all these attacks for blood.  So, despite her corrupted hand and wings (which have been retracted into her back so her corruption is less visible than it might be, covered as it is by her clothes), Saya is zipping around the city at her full, impossible speed, eyes glowing bright red, and she's singing.

She's singing a somewhat creepy but hauntingly beautiful aria, and it makes the vampires stop in their tracks.  Many of them are stunned entirely, though the older ones it's only for a moment.

Now's your chance if you want to kill the vampire in front of you.  If not, Saya is happy to do it for you with her flashing katana.

Thankfully for everyone involved, Stelle actually doesn't mind hearing the song.

And anything, really, is better than some of the cursed music that she's heard back home. And while the Trailblazer doesn't exactly have the best eyesight in the dark - she can see well enough with her blazing lance that's on fire as she goes ahead and strikes true at the vampires right in the heart.

"Thanks for that!"

There's gratefulness in Stelle's voice; she wasn't in any predicament from the vampires, but she knows trouble when she sees them and isn't the type of girl to hesitate when needed. Especially when they've been practically ignoring her all day.

[Tidying up, that's easy enough. Even if it's a cover-up, Kantera still feels a sense of satisfaction from sweeping floors and dusting shelves.

There is a guild member who keeps staring at him, though. Kantera has tried not to let on that he's noticed, but when you get near, he speaks quietly.]

That guild member has been watching me for some time now.

[It turns out that a lot of people are hurt, and fast traveling from one side of the city to another without much of a break tires you out. But Kantera can't simply stop and rest. People are getting hurt, he needs to help.

Even if he finds himself out of breath, leaning shakily on a streetlight as he tries to pull himself back together. He can rest when this is over.]

[It's probably the overwork that makes Kantera's attempts to fight off a vampire's attack weaker than they would be. Normally, one wouldn't be able to get anywhere near his neck.

But he is tired, and so the vampire gets to bite down. A surge of anger-fueled adrenaline lets him push the vampire away with a burst of wind.]

How dare you, only my wife can bite me!

[More pissed about that than the being attacked part, to be honest.]

Saya's busy on the next street over, separating vampires from their heads, when she hears her husband yelling and she's moving before the final vampire's head has even hit the ground, appearing with a kick of breeze in between her dear husband and the unfortunate, soon-to-be-dead vampire who had the gall to bite him.

She bares her fangs and hisses at the other vampire in a show of dominance, and the much younger vampire cowers for a moment before trying to lunge. Silly thing.

Her katana flashes, and the thing is dead before it realizes as much, its face going slack as its body and head fall to the ground separately.

"Love, are you okay?" She goes from vicious to extremely worried in a blink. Please say that these vampires take more than a single bite to turn someone....

[1) Keep it Clean - 1]

Whoaaaa!

[Okay, so Rinku did legitimately try to help clean the Summer Guild building. Even if it doesn't look like it because she's been standing in the simulator room with a mop for A While and just keeps getting distracted. But then she accidentally hit the console.

A simulated sandworm rises up from the ground and looms over them. It's not actually doing anything, just kind of standing there doing its idle animation? Rinku drops the mop onto the floor and sparkles over the hologram.]

That's so cool! It looks just like a real one! I should probably use the simulators more often, huh? What all other settings do we have?

[RIP any hope of cleaning.]

[2) Keep It Clean - 2]

[Rinku can't actually work when the lights, the karaoke machines, and the freezer are down. So once the bar shuts down, she starts heading through Blossomcrown, mildly glowing without even trying. If she sees someone she knows or someone who looks to be scared or distressed:]

Hey! Are you okay?

[3) When The Lights Go Out - 2]

[Chaos, who cares. Rinku dropped the kids off at a safe spot and went outside to defend it, even if she's trying not to hurt anyone and won't kill them. Right now, though, she's crouched next to someone who, although he's got a jail uniform and a lower-ranked bracelet, is just shaking.]

It's okay! You're safe. What's going on?

[The escapee breaks and babbles wildly. He didn't want this, he just got thrown in the drunk tank overnight after partying too hard, but then the outages happened and everyone started rioting and he didn't know what else to do but break out with them, where did his friends go?

Rinku pats the man's shoulder and smiles, still glowing in the dark.]

Don't worry! We'll find them. Then you can go back, okay? Jail probably sucks, but you don't gotta riot or anything either.

[She sees someone passing by and waves.]

How about you? Are you doing okay? I have some first aid supplies and stuff.

[4) When The Lights Go Out - 2]

[Sadly, not all the criminals are easily pacified. Rinku finds her way to the main police station, wearing a white beaded necklace; she'll gesture for any other otherworlders to stay close to her, and if they get close enough, they'll be in an anti-poison aura.]

The Nightshade again... We gotta stop them.

[One of the Nightshade members lunges at her with a knife. She pulls it to the side with telekinesis, sending them stumbling.]

I don't want to hurt you! Just give up!

[5) Tied-Up Solution - 2/3]

[So! Fun fact. Around one of the edges of the barrier, if you happen to be around a certain one of the black rods, you'll hear singing and background music. Which is quickly accompanied by a wave of energy that even normal humans can feel. It lasts for the length of the song, and gives everyone an energy boost and a hypnotic feeling of happiness and excitement.

Rinku is absolutely sparkling afterward, and once the rods are gone, she'll run up to anyone excitedly, bouncing on her heels.]

We did it! That was fun, huh? Did we get everything? ...What's wrong?

[It'd be clear as day to basically anyone who looked that the two foot tall blue emotion was absolutely not doing okay. She's shaking, hunched down on the ground with her small blue hands over her glasses as she seems to mutter to herself.]

Th-the power's out... e-everyone's freaking out... c-c...can't think... too much noise... too much...

[It isn't even clear whether she heard Rinku or not. She hasn't moved from her spot, either way.]

Oof! { the problem with being able to carry a fair amount is that the staff keep putting boxes upon boxes in ezra's arms at the guild. he'd come along to try and help (also because getting gear for it seems like a good idea) but now he's barely able to see as another box gets piled on top. his cheek is pressed against the top one, trying to hold it steady. unfortunately that same person also darts off to give someone else something to carry. }

Wait! I can't see where I'm going...

when the lights go out pt 2

{ when the lights first go out he had been unsure, curious and a bit hopeful that it would be short lived--that nothing else would happen. since there was no point on using his blessings without reason he'd used his phone to try and find his way back. he can't normally work out the landmarks and was still getting used to the lay of the land when there were lights though so this is a disaster.

he'd been trying to find his way back to the apartments after his run around the block when the chaos first picks up.

with the criminals anyone nearby will see his arm light up as he summons his chain whip, instantly calling out to aid people who are being attacked for their belongings or just generally. }

Hey! Leave them alone! { that same chain whip is then used to trip up any potential criminals as he runs after them. his eyes glow with yellow light, and the chain whip itself emits a soft glow to light up the air around him. } Use your phone as a light and run home as fast as you can!

when the lights go out pt 3

{ with the vampires it's a different story altogether. the first time he finds one biting down on someone something flashes red and he lashes out without warning first to ensure he can dislodge them safely. his hand crashes down at the back of its neck, quickly spinning to pull the person to safety. }

Here- { whoever happens to pass by is having a poor person who is likely terrified and losing consciousness passed over to them. } Take them to a doctor quickly. I'll-

{ BAM! since ezra just interrupted their meal he gets the same treatment in response, crashing into the wall next to the both of them with a loud yelp.

it's short lived though, anger plain on his face as he charges forward. }

Gabriel, I know you probably can't hear me from here but just this once come on.

{ and thankfully this time he's desperate, he has conviction to actually put this guy to dust and a massive wing of golden light emerges from his back. it tears his shirt, leaving it hanging on by a thread, but seems to make him faster and stronger as he crashes back into the vampire to pull it away from the person he'd saved and whoever was unlucky to get them handed over to them. }

Go get help!

{ now there's space between the vampire and those people he'll ready to fight fully. he doesn't even bother with his weapon at first, instead using the feathers from the wing to send blows that cut into its skin. it's only after a few blows that he brings back his chain whip, and start the rite to bring this guy down. }

--So I may make known your will for which I am an ambassador in chains. In the name and by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. { a symbol appears on the floor under where the vampire stands, and the chain starts to tangle around it as it tries to run away. sadly, with the rite underway it's already being brought screaming to its knees. }

tied up solution pt 2

So uh. { ezra may have come here to help, but after a ribbon is tied around his wrist he's stuck staring at the person next to him, then down at his wrist where the ribbon is. } How are we supposed to do this?

When The Lights Go Out pt 2

{ it really is unfortunate timing that the day she arrives is the day disaster strikes. at least arriving somewhere new is no longer a shocking thing, but the lack of communication from oska and being moved from one project to another is startling enough that sonia has spent the majority of her time since arriving in the welcome centre, going through all the pamphlets and information to ensure she doesn't miss any details.

she knows from experience she can't expect anyone she knows to be here, even if some of her possessions are, and learning as much as possible is what she'd been taught back at perdition's rest.

but standing with her phone out trying to follow the map is quite difficult with how dark it's become now. she doesn't have any extra sight to help her see so she has to have both the torch setting on and the map as she tries to find her way around. for anyone who can see, it's incredibly obvious she just arrived as she's still in the white clothes from arriving. }

Excusez-moi? { unfortunately the person she seems to ask for help is probably one of the criminals who broke out. } Could I bother you for guidance to-- { mid question the guy makes a swipe for her phone, already demanding she hand over her jewellery as well. } Son of a bi- { the thing is her other hand had been lowered and slack behind her, hiding the pink katana she arrived with in her belongings which she then brandishes----- to bonk this guy really hard on the head with. }

Who do you think you are?!

{ it's still sheathed which is probably a good thing as all that follows is this guy ends up crumbling to his knees, trying to apologise. }

When The Lights Go Out pt 3

{ over her time with alatair she'd met many non-humans that were kind. they were her friends. whatever is happening now is like the chaos she's seen back there too from the places they'd been sent on missions. she has no portfolio of information to follow for what these things are though, but since she happens to bump into a group of them huddled around a victim who is likely long dead all she can do is prepare herself for trying to get through this without being able to see well. }

Cham-P, please keep out of sight for the moment. I shall see if we can get you a treat once this is over.

{ one of them tries to grab at her, and out of instinct she draws the blade, slashing at the air near her. she's upset enough as it is, trying to hold it together even though she already feels lost and alone. }

When The Lights Go Out Pt2 (Also DR2 Spoilers)

[With the dark vision granted by his inexperienced Winter magic, Byakuya had rushed out of the apartments to get a handle on what was going on (not without leaving his Night Vision Goggles with Kazuichi of course).]

So the blackout wasn't just in the Apartments??

[A mutter. Serious expression perfectly masking the horrible, fearful sensation swirling around beneath the surface. It was just like back home-

Someone was going to get killed.

The familiar voice ringing out through the darkness did nothing to dislodge the unease! Byakuya ran toward the voice, rounding the corner just as the criminal fell to his knees clamouring to give an apology.]

What's going on??

[He'd deal with the "wait, aren't you meant to be dead??" later! First job was to get them both to safety- and he readied himself to rush in and drag her out personally if that criminal stopped apologising and tried to pull a fast one.

He'd failed to stop the killings from starting back home, failed in his promise to keep them all safe- but here, he had to keep her safe, too.]

[Lucifer ends the video he puts out to let people know they can come to the Haven Hotel. It's tag line has always been a Safe Haven for everyone to come and hide while the light has gone out in the world. Like how his light has gone out in his. His daughter gone and this hotel now under threat. This hotel that was her dream made real here in Ellipsa.

Music begins to swell around him as the candles burn bright in the lobby. Lucifer turns to the door and walks out as he starts to sing.]

His wings beat as he lifts into the air.]

[The musical number does not faze Rinku whatsoever. She sets her sword on fire and gets to work trying to scare people off; while she isn't attacking to kill, she'll try and knock them away if they get close.]

[Meanwhile, in the background, a fuzzy little Zubat is sneaking out of the hotel. She smelled her favourite food coming in here! There's gotta be someone she's allowed to bite!]

SOCIALIZATION I: KEEP IT CLEAN (A)

[Megumi's the type of girl that actually wants to both help out and blend in--she knows it's a little out of the insecurities that haven't entirely gone away, the scathing feeling of being alone again with not many friends; all of them left behind on the Seraph base back in Japan.

And as far as she's aware, nobody's from her world. Which, in some ways, isn't necessarily a bad thing, but...

Well.

Let's not think about that right now. Time to clean things up, dressed in her casual garbs. She might not have a deflector, wearing these, but she can still pull a few things off in a pinch, such as helping carry some of the heavier items - girl's got guns, thanks to military training - but people might also alternatively see her telekinetically floating a few items here and there, and if she spots someone struggling a little, she offers:]

Ya need some help there? I should be able ta carry a few with my psychic powers.

[It's kind of neat, to her, that she can actually carry this much now that she's practically glowing a little.

(Perhaps even literally.)]

SOCIALIZATION II: KEEP IT CLEAN (B)

[When the lights start going down and people start to panic, Megumi decides to do what only she can, and that's to help light things up with her psychic powers, electric sparks glowing on her fingertips.

If she sees someone in need of help or in trouble, she'll once again offer her services, easily:]

Ya need a little electricity? I can help power some dyin' phones or generators or whatever.

[Alternatively, she might be found actually helping out the city power said generators, which she might need a bit of help with because girl's only one person, after all. The longer she goes at this, the more and more exhausted she gets. Hopefully she won't collapse in the middle of powering these...]

SOCIALIZATION III: WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT (A)

[So, uh.

About the lights going out. Megumi's been practicing a few of the new seasonal tricks, and while she doesn't think that she's got it down pat entirely yet, she has fallbacks. Finding the closest rooftop, she takes a deep breath in before concentrating on her emotions, focusing it all in on forming bright, red hot flamed wings on her back, pulling her upwards towards the sky to investigate.

While she isn't going to touch something that she doesn't know, she's going to instead try something else--something that she hasn't tried before, in this world.

It's not a good idea, however, because the moment she tries it, the whole thing kind of backfires on her, stinging her eyes and causing her to start plummeting to the ground because her eyes started to sting.

Watch out, there's a girl falling from the sky...!]

SOCIALIZATION IV: WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT (B)

[After her, uh... predicament, so to speak, she's dealing (or at least trying to) with things rather well, being a sparking electric light for those to see and at this point she's not happy with the situation as it is, so people might be able to hear her call out her Seraphim code:]

Yer savior has arrived!

[--and the sound of what seems to be a portal can be heard opening and closing nearby as her weapon appears from it, to which Megumi grabs single-handedly.]

I ain't in a good mood, so ya better back down or else the next couple'a seconds ain't gonna be pretty. Trust me.

[Because she is willing to fight anything and anyone that gets in her way. It helps that her weapon is currently also lighting up on fire.

If you have fire-related abilities of any kind and find yourself near Megumi when she pulls off Purifying Kagura, there's a field set up for those who team up with her that seems to show in tinges of harmless sparks of fire and ashes in the area, and what they'll notice is that any of their fire skills? Yeah, those? Are stronger for 8 whole turns. Enjoy that small little buff for a bit!]

Attempt at restoring the sun
in Nightwake

Amaterasu is a goddess with the power to bring out the sun or the moon. So of course she's going to try and drawing a sun on the sky with the celestial brush on her tail.

Unfortunately, this means her tail does touch the cursed area, even if she's all the way on the ground. She yips as her tail turns black from and falls on the ground from the pain.

She looks at the damage, whining and shakily getting up, looking back at the sky. Was this truly all a cursed zone?


Fighting the bad guys
in Nightwake

Despite her tail being in pain and the damage spreading, Amaterasu is fighting the bad guys with her reflector; using it to smack them. She can see well enough because her reflector act as a light source.

Using her brush she occasionally either grows a tree in the middle of the street to make someone run into it or smudges their face with ink. She does wince anytime she uses her brush, but she's not going to just stop fighting when people need help.


Time for rest

Amaterasu is too tired to participate in the rod destroying. Instead she's found a place to lay in. Her tail is almost completely black by now and it hurts. She whines quietly, intending to rest for a bit before going to check on the city now that lights and electricity were back.

But there's also a cord coming out of his lower back and around the corner from there they set. He absently began to pet the old girl as he waiting for the charge to finally kick in.

"Me too, girl," He mumbled, eyes drooping a bit. "Me too."

The warnings eventually ceased as the percentage began the painstakingly slow uptick.

1: The Dramatic Deagening

[ Korone didn't hesitate to throw herself into helping and she's been at it for hours now, with no plans to call it quits any time soon. Fighting, rescuing, healing, escorting — you name it! Need a hand? She'll give it! Need a snack or a drink? She'll give that too! This pigeon is Prepared.

The thing is, this isn't her first brush with Ellipsa's criminal underbelly. Far from it. One gang in particular is very well aware of what she's capable of. … Which is why one well-dressed goon in a snazzy suit and stupid as fuck fedora just shot her.

It's fine! Occupied though she may have been — taking out five other goons with a loose tire and a (formerly slightly, now very) crumpled car door and saving a pair of elderly grandmas in the process — she still manages to dodge. Mostly. The projectile grazes her, rips a gash across her upper bicep. Korone hisses softly.

And promptly, not even the slightest bit softly, smashes Mr. Stupid As Fuck Fedora across the entirety of his everything with an abandoned motorcycle, knocking him clean through the wall behind before he can so much as squeak. ]

Geez! [ Korone, still holding the motorcycle, still dripping blood, and with no idea what's about to happen, huffs. ] That was rude.

2: Skillet Issue

[ Or maybe you miss all that nonsense and encounter her later! She is SO SMALL.

SO TINY. She can't be any older than five or six.

Her itsy bitsy, down-covered wings are so itsy bitsy they're entirely hidden beneath her shirt. Not so hidden is the cast iron skillet she just introduced to a criminal's kneecap. ]

Oof! [ A gentle WHAP on the head seals the deal. ] There we go. Is everything okay over here? Do you need a hand?

Spring Cleaning

Ren rarely went out to do missions, so he was at least going to help with 'spring cleaning'. It was something that he could do. Which is why he was carefully packing another ready-to-go adventure package before taking a few of them with him to distribute them to any guild members. All of the packages he made come with a neatly tied orange ribbon as a decoration.

"Here you go. This is for you", he says with a smile.

He did take one for himself, just in case he would ever need it. Now he wanted to make sure other got theirs.


Never be the same again

Once the darkness hit, Ren used his fire powers to light the way for anyone who might need it. He wasn't much of a compatant, so the least he could do was aid people who could defend the city.

Eventually he ended up encountering a young woman, who seemed to need help in finding a way to safety. Of course Ren obliged, hearing about places that would accept refugees. They walked together, guided by Ren's flames.

Unfortunately, his kind act thanked with blood. The vampire woman's teeth sank into his neck. Ren struggled, of course, but the difference in strength's was too much. She drank, and drank and Ren felt himself become weaker.

Then she was gone and he was left alone in the darkness, bleeding on a less busy street. He didn't have the strength to do much anything expect send up the smallest of flames like a flare, hoping someone would see.

But he had an awful feeling that it would be too late.


Walk through the nights

Ren was a vampire now. His fangs were sharp and often nicking the insides of his mouth. The scent of blood worked on him like a drug, making him more aware and alert. There was a lot of blood in the air, thanks to the rioting criminals.

It made him hungry. But he didn't want to bite anyone. So instead he hid out of sight anytime he started craving.

There he was, in an alleyway, sitting in a corner. Trying to will the hunger to go away.

[Rinku's voice is audible down the alley, followed by the chided squeaks of her Zubat. Rinku makes a worried noise as she turns the corner.]

Though I guess if I didn't need to see, and I smelled my favourite food everywhere, I would've snuck out too... Oh! Ren-san!

[Rinku runs over, stopping near him, while Hina flies beside her and squeaks.]

When The Lights Go Out Part 2[For Evangeline]

Some days things go from okay to shit in an instant. The lights have been on the fritz so Paulo has spent a nice amount of moon coins on candles. Because he isn't about to get stuck in the dark without light if they lose power. He also bought a camping stove to use outside if the lights go out to make canned soup. Just in case. Honestly, he was feeling good and smart today.

Well he was.

The lights went out and the criminals came out. Paulo, with his bags of candles and camping stove in a box were an easy target. Especially for a group who recognized him. Their leader had burns on his arms and on his face. They spotted the bright orange cat and Paulo didn't think it was weird to be able to see him in the pitch black darkness.

The gang was chasing Paulo down the road. He can't drop his shit and fight but said shit was also heavy as fuck! The day went from okay to shit in no time.

"Fuuuuck!" Paulo screamed as he rounded a corner, only for one of the thugs to scruff him by the back of his neck and throw him to the ground. The camping stove bounced and skidded across the road. His bags of candles spilled into the street.

"You're not going anywhere, punk. Not until we decide which way to skin you, cat!"

When The Lights Go Out Part 3[Open]

Thugs were one thing. Thugs he ended up helping Evangeline handle. Honestly, she handled them pretty much on her own, he just provided fireball backup. That was something that felt normal. Paulo had personal experiences with that.

Fucking vampires?! Why did there have to be fucking vampires too. Paulo didn't even go looking for trouble this time. He is staying at home and thought if he kept the door locked, that would be enough. No it fucking wasn't! He has his back pressed to the door as a loud crack rings in his ear. The wood of the door splinters as the vampire's hand crashes through and reaches around, feeling for purchase on the cat or a way to get the door opened.

"WHEN DID THIS CITY BECOME TWENTY EIGHT DAYS OF FUCKING NIGHT?!" Paulo screamed as he focuses. Fire ignites at the tip of his tail like a blow torch. He presses it up against the vampire arm and hears the creature scream in pain on the other side.

"SOME FUCKING HELP WOULD BE AWESOME RIGHT NOW!"

Evangeline prides herself on quick reaction time and speed. She's no Sonic, but she can still haul ass when necessary.

And boy is it ever necessary now.

One second the thug is looming over Paulo on the ground, the next second there's a scythe being swung to send the guy flying into a wall. Evangeline puts herself firmly in between Paulo and the rest of the criminals, lit up by the flame surrounding her.

"What did you say you were going to do to him?"

Keep It Clean Part 1 (If I had a world of my own, everything would be non-sense.)

The White Rabbit of course volunteered for the cleaning weekend at the Spring Guild. Organizing supplies, filling out paperwork, and making things tidy was something he did enjoy. It was a nice pass time that let him relax as well as learn the organization and layout of the Spring Guild. He takes careful notes of locations of materials, goods, even the office supplies. He memorizes the names and faces of his fellow guild members as he helps.

He dusts and wipes down the office desks, organizes the supplies in the store rooms so everything is stacked neatly and in precise organized fashion. He hums a jaunty little tune the entire time he is working, when he isn't speaking with anyone.

White Rabbit checks his pocket watch every now and then, gauging the time and how long the current task he is working on will take. He encourages others to take timely breaks and does so himself. One such break he walks into the break room and pours himself a cup of coffee.

"I much prefer tea but when needs must," He says as he lightly pours in the cream and sugar into the bitter dark liquid. "With so many hands, we should be able to complete our goal by the start of next week, don't you think?" He asks anyone else in the breakroom who may be open to conversation.

When the Lights Go Out Part 2 (Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't.)

The power went out along with the night sky. Whomever planned these circumstances must have a goal. Rabbit knows this kind of thinking well as it is the same kind of tactic he once employed. Create mass destruction and misdirection in order to accomplish your mission, while possibly assigning others to fulfill other missions. A well thought out tactic.

Unfortunately for the Nightshade gang, the outworlders had been requested to assist with quelling the escaping criminals and those assaulting the building itself. So this was a rescue mission. If there was a better time to attempt such an endeavor, the White Rabbit couldn't think of one. Though he would have staged something far away from the central headquarters to draw most out of the building and sent in a strike force to get what he wanted.

Instead, he was here to help stop this attempt to free whomever it was they were after. The getaway vehicles being his first target. If they did succeed, it was best to ensure they wouldn't get very far. Which is where his rocket launcher comes in. The rabbit looked to his fellows outside the building as his sword sliced through the arm of one of the fighting criminals.

"The building across the way provides a strategic outlook from the top of the building. We should secure it before the criminals can! Who is with me?"

When the Lights Go Out Part 3 (And contrariwise, what is, it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would, you see?)

Criminals are not the only threat to the populous of Ellipsa. Creatures that feast on blood are just as dangerous and they've come out of the proverbial shadows thanks to the criminal elements in the city.

Rabbit has a curious fascination with these creatures that is growing. The more blood they ingest, the more alive and powerful they become. Was it in how they digested the blood or in their own blood itself? There was only one way to find out. He walks in the night, waiting and watching for someone under attack by these creatures. Once he finds someone in need of rescue he moves in. The Rabbit's speed is nothing to sneeze at but a well fed vampire seems to be even faster. That's why he needs a hungry one for his experiment.

The rabbit's sword appears in a flash of silver and severs the arm that was reaching for the victim he found. He catches the removed limb and kicks the vampire hard in the stomach, sending it flying back into a wall and cracking the stone from the impact. He looks over his shoulders and holds out the gory limb.

"Would you be so kind as to hold onto this for me? I will deal with this one momentarily."

When the Lights Go Out Part 2

Macaque is moving from one place to another, trying to protect everyone he cares about despite that this means crisscrossing across the entire city. He's not about to be caught flat footed, so he has the same idea, get to the top of a building and see what's what.

--That's when he sees the white rabbit. He launches a flurry of shadow tendrils at it before he can think, believing that this is the same white rabbit that enslaved Esme.

"Don't pretend that you're here to save people, asshole."

When the Lights Go Out Part 3

What does a strange fae god abomination do when the power all goes out and he has two houses and properties to defend? Why he goes out into the front lawn and stands guard of course. He isn't about to let any criminals or suddenly appearing vampires hurt the ones he cares about. Though he also knows he needs to try and help the others around the neighborhood too. Which is why he's going to be something rather reckless with his own safety.

"HEY! Ugly ass hungry undead assholes!" He yells into the dark of night. He raises his hand and using his nails, slices open the skin just enough to start bleeding.

"Come taste me! I'm delicious! And you'll be trippin' balls after too! If you can even manage to bite me, you deserve a taste after that!"

Yes indeed. He just baited the vampires and offered them a challenge. This way he can at least keep the bloodsuckers attention on him and not the natives or outworlders around him.

[And not just be limited to her house, either. Darkness blanketed the entire city... this was something bigger. She had never bothered to refine her ability to see in the dark from her Winter powerset, but she didn't need to. Not when she could already fight blind just fine. Putting her glasses away and fastening her blindfold over her eyes, she dashed out into the streets.

This would be no issue for her.

If she encountered anyone getting harassed by criminals or vampires, she manifested out the shadows with a powerful kick or a strike from one of her chain-like weapons to drive them off.

Tilting her head back a little to face the person she was helping; ]

...Are you alright?

[Likewise, if anyone was lost in the darkness and needed help, she would materialise nearby; ]

Where are you trying to reach? ...I know my way around in the dark well.

Barrier Flight

If there is a barrier, I should be able to break it with my Noble Phantasm... I will not object if you wish to help.

[Bringing her nail-like weapon up to her throat as she'd done so many times before, cutting across it without hesitation- a summoning circle of her blood materialising in the air- and for just a moment, the area filled with light as Pegasus was called into being, scattering feathers from his wings.

And with that, they shot into the air, circling to pick up speed before shooting up like a white comet.]

Bellerophon...!!

[But it wasn't enough. As her power impacted the barrier, darkness rushed along the length of her arms, the force nearly forcing her from her mount. They had to land, quickly! Pegasus vanished once they'd touched down, leaving her stumbling on her feet.

Already, the darkness was prickling its thorns into her- manifesting as black scales on her skin...]

A-ah... how...

Taste of Blood

[Back home, in the Holy Grail War, there had been rumours. People with bites in their necks, ones who'd had their blood drained as if from a vampire.

And here, it happened again.

As the corruption began to twist its way into Rider's Spirit Origin- into her soul- a red mist, the thirst for blood, started to cloud her thoughts. Monstrous strength to deal with a few of the vampires. Ruthlessly taking down some of the human criminals. Finishing off a local who'd been left for dead by a vampire first (it was a mercy kill, she told herself), but then another, who might have survived.

Killing humans like this... perhaps, deep down, she was still that Gorgon who hated them.

Someone might come across her dropping a weakened local in a quiet alleyway, licking the blood off her lips- as the scales rippled further up her arms.]

Ngh... they are just going to keep coming... Master, how is your mana?

[Any one of these enemies would not have posed any problem for her. Even the corruption itself was manageable for a time. But... one after another after another, the last few days had been constant fighting, whilst her Spirit Origin was under the assault of the darkness. Her thoughts blurring into a red smear with each push of her Monstrous Strength.

Already, her mana consumption had escalated drastically, and it was all she could do to hold her mind together- to stop her body completely mutating into Gorgon's form. But that wouldn't last long. Her manifestation frayed at the seams even now, as scales covered her legs and arms, golden claws glinted in the light, and wings rippled beneath the surface as they threatened to burst from her back.]

I- might not-... be able to stop it-... I should- apologise for- f-for that-

[Everyone was readying themselves to head to the pillars and put an end to this, weren't they... she just had to move. But even now, more enemies were approaching- as her legs threatened to give out from under her.]

[Even without the covert operation, cleaning the guild buildings would have been a worthwhile endeavor, Frieda thinks. There's a lot that has accumulated over time - tools, trinkets, documents, potions - and sorting the broken, expired and redundant things from the usable ones is gratifying. The free adventure package is an amazing bonus - usually, they'd have to accumulate such a useful set of tools gradually over time!

However, the proceedings are abruptly interrupted when the lights go out in Nightwake. As the extent of the blackout becomes clear, Frieda offers her light magic services on the network. She'll go wherever light is most needed! Eventually, she moves to a public square in Blossomcrown that has become a hub for food transport preparation. With supermarkets' coolers and freezers out of commission, some food is being sent to Frostreign for temporary storage, with winter power holders providing cooling for the interim.

Helping with the manual work, her light orbs dispersed in the air, Frieda perks up as someone calls for her from the darkness. "Miss, I'm sorry - can you please come over here for a moment?" She complies, assuming the woman needs light nearby, but as she follows her into a side street, a man waiting there grabs her. They're vampires! She struggles against the couple looking forward to sharing a meal, but even as she overcomes her inhibitions against using her offensive magic, the sharp gales of wind don't pose much of an obstacle to her attackers. One of them is covering her mouth so she can't cry for help, but with her focus broken, the light illuminating the area flickers...]

2) When the Lights Go out

[Frieda may have gotten out of the situation with the vampires more or less unscathed, but things only take a turn for the worse in Nightwake as the city's criminals boldly take advantage of the darkness. Civilians are being attacked, stores looted... it's pandemonium.

Outfitted with a protective mask and her glittering Feel Invincible potion, Frieda has climbed up a fire ladder to get to the top of a commercial building in Dayrise. Still dispersing her light on the ground in hopes of driving the criminals away (and simultaneously providing cover for herself), she's keeping an eye out for anyone injured. I should be preventing attacks, not just sorting out the aftermath, she chides herself, but she's terrified of confronting the criminals. Somehow, facing people who are willing to harm others feels far worse than dealing with monsters.

Of course, when she sees a fellow otherworlder in trouble - be they actively fighting or left injured after an attack -, she can't look away. Jumping to float down to them (a move that still frightens her despite her good control of the ability by now), she comes to their aid - depending of whether there's a fight still ongoing, she'll either call out or stay silent to take the enemy by surprise with a wind magic attack.]

3) Tied up Solution

[By the time a remedy for the situation has been devised by the leaders of the habitable world, Frieda is exhausted from tirelessly providing relief. Having run out of mana at the end of each day of the crisis, she feels reminded of historical events from her ancestors' memories - plagues, famines, uprisings, natural disasters - that likewise kept the helpers on their feet day and night. In the grand theme of things, it could be worse, she supposes.

Traveling on a smaller dragon's back alongside another volunteer, she's struck by how absolute the darkness is out here on the border of the Winter- and Spring Segments, but that's where her light comes in once more, illuminating at least the immediate area around the dark rod. She takes a deep breath and manages a tired smile for her partner.]

Let's do this.

Eh?

[Rinku pauses from where she's fixing some vegetables that were starting to go bad. She looks over to the flicker from the side street and wanders over -- being easily distracted is actually coming in handy this time. The second she sees what's going on, she bursts into a run.]

Frieda-chan!

[Flames appearing around her, Rinku bodychecks one of the vampires off of Frieda, even if she's not strong enough to knock her fully away and ends up in a heap. Rinku untangles herself and looks up from the ground.]

1) Keep It Clean

[A really amazing goodie bag and a chance to find out who's been leaning information to the enemy? Count Hijikata in! While he really does lend a hand in the clean-up, he pays close attention to the guild personnel's behaviour... and lo and behold, some of them do act suspiciously. As interrogations happen, the otherworlders do uncover some moles, but the traitors have frustratingly little information to share.

As Hijikata mulls over how to proceed with the information-gathering, the city-wide blackouts puts a wrench in any further steps. As lights go out and the entire infrastructure is disrupted, he offers his fire as a light source - and once the criminals (and vampires, even!) come out of their holes to cause mayhem, he seamlessly expands that offer to his entire arsenal. Should anyone find themselves under attack, they may just find their attacker (if human) stopping in the middle of trying to shank them and see Hijikata stepping up to them, surrounded by eerily green-burning floating flames.]

Good job. Get him to the station.

[Who's he talking to...? The criminal? Apparently, because said man obediently steps away from his victim and gives Hijikata a nod. "Roger that!" As he jogs off, Hijikata checks on the victim.]

Man, what a shitshow. Are you okay?

2) When the Lights Go out

[As Hijikata's workplace, the NCPD, comes under attack, he makes haste to help defend it. His SPOON is out in full force, but one ghost can only chill or possess one criminal at a time, and with the building having been bombed at this point, there aren't even secure cells to put them in. To say that the samurai is pissed would be an understatement - but despite his temper, he keeps a cool head, using telekinetic attacks against the enemy first and foremost. While he has great control over his fire, it might still cause some nasty collateral damage.]

Hold the line!

[A Nightshade member is sneaking up on him with a poisoned dagger, but he notices and lifts the man into the air in front of him to hold him at swordpoint.]

Don't even try. Want to drop that?

[He may be holding up well enough, but there are so many enemies, any backups will be appreciated.]

3) Tied up Solution

[Eventually, everybody's joint efforts result in the restoration of power in Nightwake, but what an ordeal it was! Hijikata may or may not have come out of the fighting in the streets unscathed - he does have his Aura protecting him, but if he got caught in a bomb or such, it'd have been depleted -, however in doubt, the healers will have done their part to put him back into action fast.

With a plan finally devised to deal with the dark rods - damn it, if only they'd kept a better eye on that matter ever since he first encountered those things almost a year ago! -, he takes the dragons up on their offer to bring the volunteers to the edge of the Darkness fast. Once onsite in the Winter Segment (closer to the Survival Fortress than he's ever gotten, ironically) with his partner, he skeptically inspects the fairy ribbon.]

You know, I don't think I'm great at this sort of thing... but it's not like we have an alternative.

Spring Cleaning

[ Twilight may know about the mole-hunt, courtesy of the message, buuuuut let's be real counterintel is a game where you should never assume you're actually being told everything, so he's not. He's brand new and hardly knows anything about the locals, or the guilds, or the otherworlders as a whole, so all he's really getting out of it is a little extra side helping of paranoia while he goes about his true goal, one worthy of the Demon King:

Making adventure packages! It's a chance to get a slightly better idea of the adventuring style and culture here. What items do people use, how many do they need, what does that imply about their timetables and environments - that kind of thing. He's being pretty serious about that part, jotting down some notes as he goes through the assembled items, but the actual assembly is, of course, pretty thoughtless volunteer work. Good for him, though - he just wants to do something familiar. Grounding. And putting items in boxes for adventurers to use is as close as he can get right now.

He's humming to himself as he does it. Real pleased. Definitely looks like a simpleton. ]

Lights Out - Interlude

Lights Out - Self-Serving Vampire Snack

[ Unfortunately for Twilight, this is exactly the sort of scenario where his allegiance with demonkind is a liability. He's got vampire friends! Vampire allies! He knows things are different here, but he can't escape the sense that he should be trying at least as hard to come to an understanding with the bitey denizens of the night as with the humans who were his nominal foes back home.

Which wouldn't make such a difference, if they were mindlessly aggressive, but they're more than clever enough to use his peaceful intentions against him. He chatters nervously at a cluster of them as they lead him towards a 'meeting place.' Maybe they're trying to take him to a group to ambush him, or maybe they're up to something even more devious like trying to get him to 'introduce' them to a group they're targeting - but whatever it is, it's not as friendly as he hopes. ]

Round-Ribbon Format

[ Twilight's worn out after days of wounds, stress, fighting. But he can't bring himself to rest when there's an end finally in sight - and when it's something he's pretty sure he's good at, channeling magic with others. Sure, he isn't used to the local magic, but... it's probably a similar process, right?

As he channels magic with his group his arm throbs painfully. It's still hard to focus with his usual clarity, but he has to push through. Trying to sense how the magic in the ribbon accumulates from others, and match their pacing... it's not easy, but it's the first thing he's done here that really feels like it's with the others. He needs it to work. ]

Take your time. Don't try to push too much, just what comes steadily, and I'll match you...

KEEP IT CLEAN

Part 2
On Sunday night, Silver had just settled at his apartment after having a bite to eat. He was debating on turning in early as he fiddled with his phone while flaked out on the couch. Suddenly the lights went off. Sitting up, Silver blinked in the darkness before getting up to peek out the living room window curiously. It looked like the power had gone out as far as he could see on his block. The city was pitch black.

“Huh….strange.” He muttered. “It’s not even storming out.”

He went back to the couch and grabbed his phone, intending on checking out the network for any clues on what was going on. It didn’t take long for him to find messages imploring the help of Otherworlders. “Looks like I might need that Adventure kit sooner than I thought!” He was glad that he had decided to help with the spring cleaning over at the Spring Guild after all!

Later, Silver took to the air as soon as he exited his apartment building, appearing as a glowing cyan streak as he flew quickly. He had a backpack with some things he might need from the kit and he had his phone in hand. The young psychokinetic would be easy to spot as he zipped to various locations to assist with transporting spare generators. It was an easy enough task to do, and he used his psychokinesis to carry both himself, and the heavy generators to where they needed to go.

He was flying low enough that if anyone needed to get his attention from the ground, they’d be able to. Silver would always be happy to lend a helping hand if needed.


WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OUT

Part 2
The next couple of days and nights proved to be busy ones. Between brief rests at his apartment, Silver spent most of his time patrolling Nightwake and keeping tabs on the network to assist anyone that could be in need. There was a big fracas at the police station by the looks of it, but the hedgehog knew that a lot of people would have that place covered. So he worked on helping out protecting stores or people that were in trouble from all the rise in crime.

Despite having pale colored fur, Silver was pretty hard to spot in the dark. Unless he was using his powers. Than he was quite easy to see as he flew by like a glowing cyan meteor to psychokinetically catch a large object that was being used in an attempt to bust open a storefront. Whether it was the criminals trying to run into the place with a car or throw an object, it didn’t matter. Silver stopped it in its tracks with flashes of glowing cyan.

“It's no use, you jerks!”

Part 3 (cw: violence and mention of blood.)
It was the cry for help that lured him. Silver had darted into the narrow alleyway without hesitation to help whomever had gotten themselves into trouble in the pitch black. He hadn’t expected getting ambushed by the being he was supposed to be saving. The blow to his head swatted him out of the air and his cyan aura flickered out like a guttering flame. All before he could get a look at what he was dealing with.

There was an intense physical struggle as Silver fought to free himself from the inhuman grip of the larger being. He couldn’t see a thing, and fighting close quarters like this in a small area was not one of his strengths. To his credit, he didn’t cry out other than uttering a quiet grunt as sharp nails bit into his shoulder and side. He could smell blood. The cyan glow of his psychokinesis flared to life as Silver managed to grab onto a nearby dumpster and fling it towards him and his assailant in an instinctual effort to separate them. It worked with a resounding metallic bang and the young hedgehog found himself going flying and hitting the ground in a roll as he instinctively curled up.

Pushing himself to get up, he underestimated the creature’s resilience, speed and ability to see in the dark. He was slammed facefirst into the ground so hard he saw stars. “Let me GO!” He snarled, wriggling and trying unsuccessfully to get leverage beneath the creature that was pinning him. He had survived so much already in his life, he was NOT going to have it end here! Long clawed hands gripped fistfulls of quills and white fur and yanked to expose his neck, pulling another pained noise from the psychokinetic as rough pavement scraped at his cheek. Though as sharp teeth sunk into his throat and the scent of blood grew stronger, Silver went still in silent shock for a few seconds before trying to get the other off his back..

Intent on its meal, the vampire simply gripped the hedgehog tighter and continued to drink its fill.


TIED UP SOLUTION

Part 2
On the Saturday that the Otherworlders were summoned, Silver was one of the ones that reported to the Spring Guild to offer what assistance he could. He had been recovering the past few days and couldn’t stand just staring at the walls of his room any longer. He had some bandaging around his shoulder and torso to keep some gauze in place (since tape did not stick well to fur). The gauze and bandage on his neck was mostly concealed by the white fur of his fluffy ruff. Still, despite looking fatigued and not as energetic, he still smiled to everyone that said hi or approached him.

This would also be his first time seeing the dragons in person that had come to help the Otherworlders. He was both curious and awed by them and allowed himself to be transported to one of the sites where the black rods stood. He wandered, looking for a group or someone he could team up with.

“Anyone wanna team up? I really wanna help out!”
