Attack on Holidays
WHO: the Attack on Titan cast and their +1s
WHAT: holiday shenanigans
WHEN: around the Solstice
WHERE: an inn in Stormreach
WARNINGS: tba; please check subject lines
Sometime after a less than stellar conference call, Reiner sends an invitation to everyone from his world. "You're Invited to a Holiday Party," the store-bought invitation reads in swirling seasonally decorated letters. How very fancy!
The invitation specifies three things. Number one: it is a celebration of the holidays. Number two: it is a celebration of a year of a successful non-aggression pact. Number three: everyone is invited to bring a "plus one."
Surely, nothing will go wrong with this plan. Surely!
The party itself takes place at an inn in Stormreach, part of which has been reserved by Reiner. The inn is made of stone and wood, its aesthetic closely resembling buildings in Paradis. There are several spacious rooms available: places for eating, places for mingling, cozy corners for more private conversations, and access to the inn's bar.
Have fun, and try not to break anything!
( ooc: this is a mingle! top-level, tag around, etc. put any warnings in subject lines, and if a thread heads toward smut, please take it to an inbox or something. ♥ )

- In one of those cozy spaces, one might find a lit candle known as a Candle of True Feelings. In its presence, people understand their feelings better and feel inspired to talk about them. How very curious!
- Of note: magic supersedes technology in Stormreach. One is far more likely to run across potions and crystals than gaming systems… But that hasn't stopped Reiner from setting up a gaming system in a corner, anyway.
- If one steps outside for a breath of (cold) fresh air, they'll find themselves close to the clock tower. Local legend claims that those who kiss on top of it are destined to never breakup. However, that legend has not been tested … yet.
- During the party, a table is filled with various gifts for the "+1s," created by those from Paradis and Marley. The gifts include knitted clothing (scarves, mittens, socks), chocolates, sweet baked goods, and fidget toys made of wood or stone. Feel free to partake, +1s!
Have fun, and try not to break anything!

He'll be setting it on the food table, so feel free to accost him there.
Alternatively, one of those candlelit corners, playing solitaire. With an entire bottle of alcohol, some kind of hard stuff, at his elbow. He wasn't kidding about being a homebody.
... or maybe you can catch him observing the gaming. Hakkai has never played a video game in his life. Maybe there's one kind of game someone can beat him at.
no subject
"Hey. Don't you need at least people for that?" he asks, genuine and not teasing or sarcastic.
no subject
The smile always fixed to Hakkai's face softens a fraction. It turns a shade more real than usual. He gestures to a vacant seat at the alcove.
"This particular game is known as solitaire," he says. "Meant to be played by a single individual, haha. But yes, cards, generally, are for groups or pairs, aren't they?"
no subject
"Hate parties so much you showed up to one to play a game by yourself?" he asks, but his tone is mild. Eren is the opposite of Hakkai in that he just never smiles. Someday he'll remember how.
"I don’t actually like parties, either."
no subject
No interruptions. He just - and there it is. Eren nailed it in one. He's not a party person. He preferred quiet nights at home, with a book. So the laugh is a quiet, depreciating one, rather than his usual fake one.
"I admit, you've read me correctly," he says, as lightly as he can. "But I'd hate to refuse a polite invitation, and this one has yet to be very rowdy."
At the admittance, he inclines his head, before adding: "I could show you the game, if you like?"
no subject
"I don't think anyone here is particularly rowdy," he says. "As far as parties go, it's not too bad."
He's not a party person either. He only came for Reiner and to eat the food.
"Sure, show me. I didn't know you could play cards alone."
no subject
Hoarding the good stuff for yourself, huh? Will you let me give it a try?
[He holds out his empty glass.]

[Despite the bottle, he seems absolutely one hundred percent sober. But from the slosh of liquid in it, he's clearly been drinking.]
[He offers it out, without further comment.]
no subject
[He drinks and lets out a small appreciative sound.]
Not bad! So, who of our hosts brought you along? It looks like we may have mutual friends.

[He knows that Reiner is outgoing and sociable enough, but it's still nice to see it confirmed that he's struck up various friendships across the otherworlders gathered on Ellipsa.]
He's a good guy. How'd you two meet?
[Surely, it can't have been as bad as his own first meeting with the Warrior boy where he swiftly turned their shared joy over their new pokémon into a tense confrontation over Reiner's action back home!]
no subject
Smiling, he gestures with the controller. "Hey, Hakkai. Do you wanna play a round?"
no subject
He's never seen a video game before, okay. It looks like something Goku would enjoy, if he's being honest. But it does look interesting.
no subject
"I've got others, too, if that doesn't sound fun."
Judging by how quickly he makes that offer, it may be apparent that he'd really just like to play a game with Hakkai, no matter which one it is.
