WHO: Rinku, basically anyone
WHAT: Seasons Anniversary Party!
WHEN: Weekend of March 8-10
WHERE: That one park in Blossomcrown everyone uses to throw their parties in
WARNINGS: None so far, warn in individual threads if something comes up!
[Being kidnapped to another world for over a year isn't something you celebrate in general. But Rinku's always been one to try and see the positives, and so just like the first arrivals had a party back then, she pitched a party on the network and decided to throw it.
Partygoers (and that's basically everyone, whether you saw the post, she found you and told you to come, or you just wandered over here) are encouraged but not required to dress up representing their world and bring food from their world. Rinku, in her iconic performance costume, spends most of the party buzzing around and gushing over everyone.
Of course, she's dragged her brand new DJ booth with her face on it to the park, and is playing some brand new songs as well as mixing and adding her vocals to established music, including stuff from here and random anime songs. A field's been made into a temporary dance floor for the occasion.
But there's more -- Rinku's set up food tables as well, and has put out a large pot of romazava and another full of rice, plus a cake-sized donut on the other end for people to take a slice of. Everyone else has been encouraged to bring a dish from their home world to share! There are also games set up like ring toss, pin the tail on the human(???), and social games like truth or dare and never have I ever. She won't mind you starting up something she didn't think of, either.
Happy isekaiversary, one and all.]

[Rinku eagerly bounces over to greet you as you get close to the park. She waves excitedly.]
Wow, you came! Welcome! This is gonna be so much fun! Oh, what's your outfit? It's cool!
[2) food]
[Rinku's eyes light up at the accumulating spread of food. She approaches something (maybe the thing you brought, maybe just something you've already taken some of) and looks over at you.]
This one looks great! Can you tell me about it?
[3) dance]
[Rinku is happily mixing the songs and singing and dancing behind the booth. If you approach, she'll wave and pull down her headphones to hear you.]
How is it? Do you have a request?
[4) pin the tail on the human]
[The party games are drawing attention, that's for sure. But when it's Rinku's turn to try and stick one of the various paper animal tails to the random picture pasted to a big tree, she walks right past the tree blindfolded and reaches out like she's going to attach the tail to you.]
Hmm... is it here?
[5) truth or dare]
[Rinku is practically bouncing in her seat when it becomes her turn to ask. Wait, no, she actually is bouncing.]
This is so fun... How about you? Truth or dare!
[6) never have I ever]
[And the games continue. Rinku raises her hand with a big smile.]
I know! Never have I ever lived someplace where it snows a lot!

I'm a magical girl from home, I think magical girls are fine and not terrifying, right?

[Rinku squeals and vibrates until she can't hold back a hug and latches onto Evangeline.]
Did you use magic for that? I didn't know you guys had magical girls too. I thought you said no one fights the people in charge or anyone doing anything bad.
no subject
Yeah, shapeshifting was cheaper than making this whole costume myself. And, well, magical girls are a type of Abnormality where I'm from? They usually try to help us, but sometimes they're as destructive as other Abnormalities are... This one's called the Knight of Despair.

"Careful, if you try and pin that on me I think we'll both end up having a bad time." He points out before she could prick her hands on one of his quills.

[Rinku stumbles back. She pauses for a moment and tilts her head.]
Oh, wait, you're not the tree, huh? I thought it was over this way...
no subject
"I'm a bit short to be a tree that's for sure. Do you want me to point you in the direction of one?"

How do I look? Magical girls aren't scary, right? That's what I've heard anyway...
[She's mostly interested in the social games, so feel free to hit her up for truth or dare or never have I ever.]

aside from all the memories of the titan-worlders he stumbled into)! What's more, he was reunited with some very dear people he hadn't expected to see again after he returned home from Avalon. While he usually shirks organisational duties - that's civilian work! -, he wasn't sure how much help Rinku actually had, so he arrived early on the first day of the celebration to help her set up the buffet tables and whatnot. His contribution, predictably, is a half-dozen bottles of mayonnaise, and he's dressed in his usual uniform from home (the Shinsengumi is iconic, thank you very much!).
By the time people are mingling, chatting, and playing games, he's off to the side, leaning against one of the blooming cherry trees and smoking. If anyone walks over to likewise take a break, he'll give them a smile.]
It sure has been a year, huh?
no subject
[Rinku (who shapeshifted a giraffe tail and head nubs at some point?) comes over, waving and smiling at him.]
Yeah, it's been so fun! Oh, how much food did you try? Did you play any of the games yet?
no subject
Oh, Rinku-chan, I've played those games so many times already, I think this time around I'll take it easy. I've had two plates of food, though! I'm full.
[He says that about the games, but he will play with Rinku if she asks! Then again, she may also want to take a break.]

[He really is happy to have made some progress, modest as it may be, within the year. No disasters befell the city, either - none that left behind more than emotional damage, in any case. Being able to relax here in peace, with enough food and amenities for everyone, is something to be thankful for. He remembers all too well the calamities of Prismatica and Avalon.]
Since it's been a year, what's the best memory you've made here? Or the best three, if you can't decide on one?

[From someone else, that might be sarcastic - but coming from Evangeline, it's entirely sincere. Ellipsa is so, so much nicer than home that it's no competition.]
What about you?
no subject
I can't complain either. We sure are given the VIP treatment, what with the huge rewards for any important missions, and on the whole, there are fewer shitheads around than back home. All in all, it's on par with the other worlds I've been to.
[Someone is spoiled, never having ended up in a horror- or murder game!]
no subject
[She knows at least one person who was in Literal Hell before this, so they can't all be nice.]
no subject
I wonder too. Maybe it's a matter of what kind of world you end up on first, and depending on that, you get summoned to more similar ones? It can't be a matter of certain worlds only calling certain kinds of people in; I've seen all sorts in each place I stayed in.
no subject
If we could just ask them to bring specific people here, this place would be perfect.
