[By some miracle, Yumeno Yuuto (yes, this one,) had figured out how to use technology. He manages to create a private chat for Nen, Shigeru, Inaba, and even himself- All at once! If you've known Yuuto for more than two weeks, then you know it's a miracle that he didn't screw this up.]

Shigeru! Inaba! Nen! This is Yuuto speaking.

Would you like to go out somewhere together? I want you to all meet each other, if that's alright? I was thinking an art museum might be fun? What do you think??

II. Museum Date

[When it comes time for the actual date, Yuuto is anything but normal. He might be wearing somehow normal clothes, but he's acting almost more excitable than usual. By the time the other three arrive, he's already bought all of their museum tickets. He's also found an outdoor water feature and is completely mesmerized by the way that the water falls from the sculpture.

The sculpture itself is cool too.

But the physics..!

His eyes are glowing pink as he watches the water with his power and his tail is wagging far too happily.]

Art and science..! I wonder if there will be more physics at the museum? [He cups his cheek, smiling like the lovestruck fool he is,] My four favorites all in one place. The art museum was a great idea..!

[yeah. he did compare romance to gravity. it's fine. he's fine.]

[ Inaba is the one that chimes up warmly; if she had to show up to a date with other people around, she obviously needed to make a good first impression: by wearing a proper date outfit - a bright dress and fixing her hair up in a French side braid.

She's also holding onto her phone as she records the area; even if this is a 'date', she wants to preserve the moment.

And, well... she probably can use this for content later. ]

Did you choose it just for the physics, though?

[Yuuto makes a surprised noise and spins around, cheeks already reddening with embarrassment.]

I, Inaba! Hello..! [Ah, she looks so cute! Which doesn't help his nervous behavior at all.] No, I didn't know about this at all. I picked it because it reminded me of my sister.

W-Well! Everyone likes my sister, so a place that is like her must be a good choice for everyone, right?

[ She shakes her head and sighs. ] You can't just assume that everyone is going to like the same things as the other people that you like. I'm not saying that this isn't a nice place, or that I don't enjoy it, but... that's a pretty dangerous assumption to make. I haven't even met your sister yet.

[ I think you mean Yuuto is Supremely Normal^TM and Nenonen sees nothing wrong with the way he's dressed, or how his eyes glow. Tail-san is business as usual, and Nen has come dressed in something more formal. Not because they wanted to dress up necessarily, but because today felt like a pants kind of day. And they've always enjoyed wearing (sweater)vests.

Most of all though, they enjoy seeing what looks like a new expression on Yuuto's face: love-struck goober. ]

[Yuuto turns swiftly when he hears Nenonen and continues to be totally normal. He's used to seeing Nen in sweater vests, but this level of formality is new. His tail sways in a wide, obvious arc while Yuuto tries to appear calm.]

Nen! You're here. I'm sorry, I- I saw water, it was cool. You look good. You look great. Hello.

[ That greeting is punctuated by the snap of their phone as they take an (out of focus) picture and give him an almost-smile. They eyes follow Belt-san as it sways in a wide arc, fascinated. ]

Thank-you. You look very pink too.

[ The way it's said makes it clear they mean that as a compliment as they look him up and down again, appreciating. ]

What was the water doing that was "cool"?

[He immediately worries that they mean his face and pats his cheeks to cool them. This has never worked. It does not start working now either.]

Oh... It's just that they use the way that the water falls to complete the art. It's beautiful, isn't it? [It's probably a statue of a seal spitting water or something. Yuuto is very impressed.] I never knew that art could use something like gravity in this way.

Oh... I had not considered that gravity could be a part of art.

[ This is said like they have just uncovered some profound truth thanks to him...and now Nen too is staring at the seal fountain like a mythical wonder of the natural world. ]

I thought art was paintings. I will need to broaden my criteria.

[ Shigeru is more than willing to tag along to an art museum!! He is an artist after all an Amberfall's museum happens to have some really pretty works within its walls. So Shigeru will tag along with Nen and they'll probably have come together but Shigeru likes moseying about on his own from time to time.

It's nice to come with other people and he's found Yuuto at said fountain, a smile on his lips as he watches him before coming over. ] A lot of the time sculpting does take some amount of-of physics. So I'm sure we'll be able to see more of it inside. You look like you're enjoying yourself. [ Which good. Because Yuuto doesn't give himself enough of a break!! Says Shigeru who is basically the same, smh. ]

[ 3000% Nen came here with Shigeru, there's no way they'd pass up getting to walk and hold his hand at the same time, never mind the fact that they live together and it just makes sense. Nen is all sparkles as they arrive, especially when he starts talking about (swoon) physics. ]

Ah! Well...sort of? [ Shigeru was pretty decent at it in school he guesses?! ] Physics is a lot of mathematical equations and things, right? I wasn't the greatest at it but I did pretty well in those classes. Although now that we're talking about it I wonder what the gravitational constant of this world is...?

[ So intriguing!!! ] But, um, this place has a lot of pretty artwork and sculptures so I hope you have a nice time!

I was not able to learn much about physics in my world...but I know mathematics. And science is good--much better than magic. It has rules.

[ You hear that magic? YOU DON'T and Nen will never not judge you for that. ]

[ Shigeru laughs as he covers his mouth with a gloved hand. ]

Are you sure that's all you want pictures of? I think they have a really beautiful flower art exhibit inside too. Maybe we can combine the two?

[ Shigeru being a devious god, say it ain't so!! ]

[As embarrassed as he is to be caught admiring the statue, Yuuto is much more overjoyed to see Shigeru. His eyes light up and his tail wags in obvious displays of happiness. Today, Yuuto is wearing his emotions on his sleeves.]

Shigeru..! Do you really think so? I’ve never been to an art museum, so I’m not sure what to expect… I just know that art is very wonderful!

You've never been to an art museum?! [ Pure shock in his voice as he looks back at Yuuto. ] Then we have to make the most of it today, so you keep coming back! I love art museums, but as an artist, it's always to get ideas or see techniques I've never tried myself before. I'm glad you chose a place like this since it's nice and calm. It's the perfect place for a date.

[Yuuto isn’t conscious of how much Shigeru’s praise puts him at ease. He’s able to quickly go from worried this was a bad place for a date to completely at peace. Because even if he isn’t consciously aware of it, Yuuto trusts Shigeru would never lie to him.

He shakes his head slowly.]

No, I wasn’t supposed to leave the shrine grounds and the only art there was what Tau made… What kind of techniques do you like using? Do you think they’ll be here?

[ Yuuto that is too pure!!! Shigeru is just all smiles and happy before he tilts his head a little. ] Mm, well there are all kinds of painting techniques depending on the tool used, the media used, canvas and other things as well. But I, when I do paint, usually go for oil, acrylic, or impasto knife painting.

[ Shigeru dabbles in drawing with pencil since it's not as messy. But he does sometimes like to paint. ] Either way it's very relaxing and helps me collect my thoughts usually so I just do whatever I'm feeling in the moment.
