[ He manages to navigate his way to Amberfall, which was a pretty solid accomplishment in and of itself. Good thing he has some practice being dumped into strange towns and needing to find his way around in a hurry. He's gone on the run enough times to get the idea. It's a more pleasant experience when the local area expects confused outsiders, and can actually be prevailed upon for help. Unlike the average Japanese citizen who doesn't want anything to do with his yakuza bullshit.

In general, it's a fascinating change of pace that no one really cares that he's gokudo. It's been a mark on him his entire life and now it's just... nothing. It's an odd, melancholy realization.

But it helps him out as he's asking about how to sign up with the guild. Not an eyelash batted.

He's all ready by the time Rafal shows up. The magic business is definitely going to be the biggest challenge of the day, and Daigo takes a deep breath for it. Humility is how you learn. ]

[ rafal shrugs. his oath meant helping others so he sought to fulfil it. he's never taught magic before to someone who didn't know but the principle should be the same. ]

[ It's the kind of thing Daigo would say, it's bemusing for him to be on the other side of it. When was the last time he was even really allowed to express ignorance on a topic? He couldn't do that too openly in front of his men, unless it involved introducing a new accountant or hacker. ]

[ He makes an uncertain face, not sure what kind of "response" the earth at large could have. But he's trying. In the end, he focuses on that magnetized sensation and lets his mind wander with visualizations of what that would look like as energy. He still isn't sure it's working at first, because all he really senses his a rhythmic thud thud thud until he realizes that they're the echo of footsteps. Not as a sound but as a pulse in his body. ]
