[With the explosion clear, she got to her feet so she could take a proper look at that corpse. Right now, the rest of the class were scrambling to put out the fire that the blast had left behind.]

[A glance to the gathered group, and a frown came into her face. Even Genocide Jill's elaborate murders didn't match up to this display. In fact, she couldn't imagine any of the ones who remained killing someone in this elaborate fashion.]

[Confirming her suspicions of it wasn't anyone of the remaining ones.]

I was pinned for the murder. Nearly executed.

I wouldn't have thought she'd break the rules of her own game.

[It surprised her. After all, Junko wouldn't feel as much despair if she won by cheating, right? ...But then again, the despair she felt on her defeat must have been all the more intense for it.

As it sunk in what he said though, she quickly grabbed hold of his hand.]

"Nearly"...then- you-...?

[...Did he survive, in the end?]

[He's a little taken aback by her taking his hands, but he nods.]

I survived. Until the end. We beat Junko in her own game after she broke her rules.

[And Junko had been executed.

Despair and relief all mixed together at once. The reminder of her sister's death, but also the confirmation he survived. She was never quite equipped to manage those conflicting emotions, and her grip got a little tighter on his hand. She had questions, of course. How Junko had died, what rules she broke to start with, and how he'd escaped- but those questions didn't quite make it out.

Thankfully (?) the fire had been put out by now, and that gave them a clear view of the charred corpse. It stank of burning. The upper torso was burned beyond belief- and even the gathered group seemed to be wondering how to identify it, in that state.

Kyoko was missing, so what if it was her's? Byakuya theorised the Mastermind themself, and Makoto...Makoto suggested her name.]

...Huh...

[Naegi continues watching the scene, expression sullen. It still made him sick, how little Junko respected her own sisters' body.]

[She should be able to notice the familiar tattoo on the corpse's hand.]

Of course, at that time, none of us had any idea the Junko who died wasn't actually Junko.
