[ When you head to the location of Yuri's GPS ping from yesterday's network post, you'll find a rented-out little karaoke bar with MAID FOR YOU written on a handmade banner that is temporarily covering the bar's normal name, decorated in pink and black on the inside, with a lot of cute little two-chair tables taking up most of the floor space. There are rooms in the back that would normally be for singing karaoke in private, and singing with a maid is indeed one of the things you can do with those rooms today!

The real draw, though, is all of the very cute folks dressed as maids and/or butlers today, who will — for a small fee — wait on you personally. ♥

Take a menu, select a maid, and place your orders... or just ask Yuri what all the commotion's about, he'll be happy to explain! ]


((ooc: Maid cafe fundraiser! Don't worry too much about the coins your character is spending here, nothing is too expensive (though the black menu items are at a premium), we're all just here for the CR.

PLEASE NOTE: Yuri does feel personally responsible for the safety and comfort of all the Official Maids who are trying to help him raise funds here, so he will be actively trying to curb anyone bullying their friends into signing up, and he really doesn't want anyone working for him to be wearing or doing anything that makes them uncomfortable. Adult characters who only want to wear pink ribbons? Characters who want a full coverage maid outfit, or who want to be butlers instead? Excellent exercising of your boundaries, Yuri loves that for you.

You can, however, definitely pay for the "dress up as maid or butler" menu item and use that to bully your friends to your hearts' content. 😉))

[Nothing else that anyone would admit to, at least, or perhaps they, like Lelouch, were actively avoiding using their more destructive/disruptive capabilities? He'll keep this thought to himself, of course, but.]

A survey would be a good start. Granted, it could very well invite backlash from our seasonal overlords, but I doubt they'd do so publicly if they were intent upon maintaining a benevolent facade. At the least, we could also prepare ourselves for such a thing and know to raise the alarm should there be any suspicious consequences.

They can come for me if they want, they'll just make it clear what I should be doing. I haven't decided if they're little recruit plan is a cover story, or simple incompetence for how random their selection process must be to pull who they do for this place.

They might be strong with the seasonal powers, but I've been an elemental for centuries, I can do things with fire they could only dream of.

Not really, no. Once I have a subject in mind, I'm fairly good at figuring out the right questions to ask. Its an important part of curse breaking.

I'd suggest narrowing the focus next time around to just your questions and perhaps one other subject. They'll get buried otherwise.

Immortality and my sense of subjective time has nothing to do with it, I'm on social media back home and I see how fast things are swallowed by the timeline and that's with a carefully curated list of only select things.

This network has maybe a handful of posts a day.

You overestimate people's capacity to absorb large amounts of information at once. In bite-sized pieces, volume is less of an issue.

I'm not saying that people won't read, listen, or watch what you're producing if it isn't a specific length, but you'd certainly broaden your appeal with something shorter.
