[ When you head to the location of Yuri's GPS ping from yesterday's network post, you'll find a rented-out little karaoke bar with MAID FOR YOU written on a handmade banner that is temporarily covering the bar's normal name, decorated in pink and black on the inside, with a lot of cute little two-chair tables taking up most of the floor space. There are rooms in the back that would normally be for singing karaoke in private, and singing with a maid is indeed one of the things you can do with those rooms today!

The real draw, though, is all of the very cute folks dressed as maids and/or butlers today, who will — for a small fee — wait on you personally. ♥

Take a menu, select a maid, and place your orders... or just ask Yuri what all the commotion's about, he'll be happy to explain! ]


((ooc: Maid cafe fundraiser! Don't worry too much about the coins your character is spending here, nothing is too expensive (though the black menu items are at a premium), we're all just here for the CR.

PLEASE NOTE: Yuri does feel personally responsible for the safety and comfort of all the Official Maids who are trying to help him raise funds here, so he will be actively trying to curb anyone bullying their friends into signing up, and he really doesn't want anyone working for him to be wearing or doing anything that makes them uncomfortable. Adult characters who only want to wear pink ribbons? Characters who want a full coverage maid outfit, or who want to be butlers instead? Excellent exercising of your boundaries, Yuri loves that for you.

You can, however, definitely pay for the "dress up as maid or butler" menu item and use that to bully your friends to your hearts' content. 😉))

[ Nen is pretty sure customers should be buying drinks and services for themselves, not the butlers...but then again, they are supposed to give customers what they want so long as it isn't black menu items or alcohol to minors. After a moment's thought, Nenonen nods. ]

It's just iced macha though, so Nen is back within five minutes with both of their drinks. There's no refined flourish to the way Nen sets her drink down, but there is plenty of care. Nen wants to do their very best for Yuri's cafe after all! ]

[ That is the power of ice and a wee bit of milk & condensed milk!! Totally changes the flavour and makes a sweet, but refreshing drink. Nen is just about to take a sip of their own when Ayaka makes that moment, and gives a faint crook of their lips at her reaction. ]

I do! It's very refreshing, and it's sweet, but the flavour of matcha is still very present.

[ It's got matcha in the name, but it's sooo unlike the tea she usually prepares! ]

I'm not sure what I was expecting, so this was such a pleasant surprise. Thank you for suggesting this to me.

[ Nen takes provoking laughter as a sign of pride♥ They have no idea why it happens or what they do to make people laugh...but they're smiling while they do it, so surely it is a Good Thing^TM. ]

Yes, I am at your beck and call for the duration of your stay, milady. I can also perform other non-beverage-related services, such as hand-holding, hugging, conversing, hair-brushing, karaoke, or card games.

I do not know any card games however, so I do not recommend that one. Also I was told I am tone deaf.

[ And ever since Nenonen got to see the pretty way Fischl's moved when they danced, Nen's had an itch to play with it. Ayaka's is straight and silky rather than smooth, blue instead of blonde, but Nen can't help but be curious about that as well. ]

I do not mind any of the others. I hold hands quite often with people I meet.
