Congrats! You won a date with the one you were bidding on and now it's time to plan a date.

This is just a straight forward post for the winners and participates in the Charity Date Auction. This is the place to play out the dates as wanted/needed! This mingle is for the dates themselves and the planning it if you want.

You can also use this post for any of your charity auction wins if you want - so if you want to thread out trainings, picking up prizes, whatever. Have at it, folks!

The only rule is there's no NSFW permitted on this post. If, you know, it gets there somehow.

Inaba's technology lessons catch-all;

[The lessons take place at the newly minted Tech Club near the Welcome Center, where she welcomes each student that's won their lesson individually, ushering them to have a seat wherever they'd like.

She stands at the head of the room, next to the whiteboard and projector.]

Alright, first things first -- before we start, I must ask a few questions. The first is how familiar you are with any sort of technology and the second is what your goal is with your lessons here. That way we can work together to achieve the latter.

[ Levi will let whoever ended up sitting in front of him answer first, but it is, eventually, his turn. He looks a little uncomfortable as he leans back in his seat. ]

I've never seen anything like a-- "phone" before I got here. [ Pause. ] I can call and write the electronic letters now.

[ "Electronic letters"... he probably means emails, right? Texts? ]

And I want to be able to pay for shit in the store without having to ask for help.

[ Yush. It's that bad. ]

Figures. Sometimes we'll get people like that.

[ Her answer comes off a little flat. ]

Most stores should accept easy payment through the devices. You just put it on top of the scanner until you feel it vibrate.

[ His expression flattens further in response, almost like he wants to take offense and latch onto that people like that, but apparently decides against it. ]

How does it know it was me who did that? Someone could steal my device.

[ At least the squiggle usually makes him write in his PIN code to confirm it! (It's totally just his husband's birthday. Don't worry about it.) ]

Depends on how you have your device set up, but payments will usually require your device to confirm it's the owner using it -- sometimes by facial recognition, but thumbprint recognition. The store itself might also ask for a signature after payment as confimation, too.

[ The blank stare she receives when talking about facial and thumbprint recognition should be more than telling about how much he knows about it. ]

[ There's a fairly long, uncomfortable pause. ]

It's, uh. Default set up, probably.

[ Because he certainly didn't fiddle with settings, except that one time when he didn't know where to find the button to take pictures with. ]

[ And there comes the heavy sigh, her shoulders sagging a little bit. ]

So we'll have to check that first and maybe set some stuff if you want your wallet to be more protected...

[ She looks like she's putting up with something utterly exhausting, doesn't she... ]

Is there a middle option? I don't want to have to solve number puzzles every time I use it, either.

[ Apparently he thinks the improved protection includes a sudoku that he has so far encountered once, in an ancient ruins. Must have left an impression. ]
