Halloween Is Coming to Town

Halloween has been officially adopted as a holiday in Ellipsa. So the Summer Guild Leader, Dawn, has arranged a three day party to celebrate it. She has gotten a lot of people involved to make it as fun as possible! They are held at all of the guilds (Frostreign, Blossomcrown, Solarpeak, Amberfall).

All of the guilds are now connected through a mirror path. However, the paths have been made longer with the help of Riki's Rewards, so the journey from Guild A to Guild B isn't instant! Instead people will encounter the spooky corridor, full of silly ways to spook someone such as randomly appearing skeletons and ghosts. Usually these are just fake props or people hiding under a sheet - but occasionally there's an actual skeleton around and taking off his head to cite Shakespeare.

The aesthetics of the corridor change depending on what guilds it connects together. All of them are made to be spooky right now, but originally they were made to work as actual methods of traveling between the guilds, so it's not everything there is. The night skies with a creepy red full moons are just temporary!

At the guilds, all of the natives have dressed up in different costumes and are encouraging people to pick their own costume from the costume room setup. Unfortunately, some very mischievous fairies have gotten into the room undetected and may cast a spell that makes someone act like they're the character the costume represents.

There's also an option to get a random costume if someone feels daring.

Otherwise it's a party filled with different kinds of Halloween appropriate food and drinks. Cookies that look like skeletons, pudding made to look like brains, drinks that look like blood and so on. Even the actual food has somehow been made to look creepy.

By the end of the evening, anyone who hasn't screamed because they were scared will be gifted a special potion called shared bravery. It lets the user to share their bravery with others around them for five hours.

From what I've been able to determine, Wendy spent an entire year cohabitating with the girl she likes and never even realized she does like her that way. She knows where babies come from, but only from a purely biological standpoint. Whenever the Heartfilia girl summons that perverted maid of a Celestial Spirit, she's hopelessly confused. Please, for the love of all that is good, get somebody to give her The Talk, because her guildmates clearly never got around to it.

Please. She's completely oblivious, and if I have to deal with her and her God Slayer girlfriend innocently holding hands and staring into each other's eyes one more time... I mean, they're damn cute and all, but it does get tiring watching them continuously fail to get the message.

Hold on, now! I get that it's painful to watch kids being cluelessly in love for way longer than should be allowed, but what's a God Slayer?!

Why, exactly what it sounds like. Someone who has, some way or another, learned God Slaying magic. The person in question, Chelia Blendy, is the Sky God Slayer for example. So far as I'm aware, it's unlike Dragon and Devil Slayer magics in how it lacks side effects.

So there's at least three of these magics... you guys should start calling otherworlders in; it sounds like your world could use some help with so many powerful factions clashing!

[Clearly, it's not a perfectly triangular enmity, given Wendy and Chelia's relationship alone, but even so, this sounds like world-destruction-level encounters waiting to happen! Acnologia and Zeref - alone or together - were already too much for his liking!

Of course, complaining to Irene is unlikely to accomplish anything, all the more since she's gradually running out of time to so much as enjoy her night here.]

There's no need, the war between Alvaraz and Fairy Tail ended a year ago, in Fairy Tail's favor. Acnologia is finally dead as well. All known God Slayers are allied with Fairy Tail, and the one Devil Slayer I know of- not that he's much of a Slayer, really- is a member of the guild itself. The only pressing concern currently is the Hundred Years Quest Wendy and her team will be going on pending her return.

Hundred Years Quest?! How long is this kid's life span, again?

Ahaha! It's not a quest that takes a hundred years, it's a quest that nobody has accomplished in a hundred years. Technically you need to be S-Class to take even a Ten Years Quest, but her team managed to get a special exception.

Oh, that sounds better! Damn, no one can say that these kids aren't ambitious. If anything, saving Ellipsa will be good training!

[Frankly, learning that the war in Wendy's homeworld is already over and Acnologia gone puts him at ease quite a lot... and leave it to her to walk straight into the next challenge!]

It was far more the Dragneel boy's idea than Wendy's, but someone needs to make sure they don't all die. In fact, Wendy was one of the ones trying to stop him when he took the flyer without permission. She wrecked an entire building with her roar, and I learned why the citizens of Magnolia have such good insurance. Fairy Tail is as Fairy Tail does.
