Evangeline calls out to her before registering that Eliza looks any different. Even once she does notice the changes - the added height and muscle, the hair - she doesn't hesitate to approach her.
"Bad day?"

Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"Uh..." Eliza has no idea how to respond to any of this. But hey at least she doesn't look mad at herself any more! "You sound like you don't like them."
"Are you not human either?"
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
She lifts her hand and wiggles it like 'kinda'. "No, I'm human. And humans are... fine? But they're fragile, and I have a long history of the humans around me dying on a near-daily basis. So it's kind of hard for me to get attached to them. I'm working on it here, and I'm better than I was, but..."
Still kind of a struggle.
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"Oh god... I mean I guess you having trouble getting attached makes sense then." Eliza said sympatheticly.
"For me, I was told I was cursed but not how, so I stayed away from people in case the curse hurt them." Eliza explained. "And well... I guess I know what it is now at least?"
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"There are way worse curses than growing hair and getting super tall and buff. -I mean, I'm sure there's more to it than that, but this part doesn't seem so bad?"
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"If you're worried about it, I can come with you. -My job at home is minimizing the harm done by monsters, so. If you go on a rampage, I can stop you."
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"If you're sure you can stop me." Eliza rubbs her cheek. "I guess I should actually say what I am instead of dancing around it so you know what you're up against."
Eliza has to take a breath before forcing herself to say it. She's clearly not used to admitting it.
"I'm a werewolf."
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
This is obviously something very upsetting and difficult for Eliza to talk about, so she restrains herself from voicing her initial reaction, which would be 'cool'.
"Oh, yeah, I've handled those before. I can keep you from doing anything you'd regret, no problem."
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
Of course because Eliza doesn't trust herself she's not totally sure if Evangeline could stop her, since it's hard to trust others when you don't trust yourself, but she was sure at the very least Evangeline could get those around her to saftey.
"... So, what are werewolves like in your world?" Eliza asked, not wanting to walk in silence.
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"It kind of depends on the individual Abnormality? We have a few wolf or wolf-adjacent ones. The first one who comes to mind is the Big and Will be Bad Wolf, who tries to disguise himself as a cartoonish-looking wolf? I don't know why he bothers since he'll still eat employees while looking like that, it's not like it's going to fool any of us."
Casually talking about her coworkers being eaten, as you do.
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"That's really bad. I'm glad I haven't run into something that drives me insane just by looking at it." Says the werewolf who's wolfy transformations can also do sanity damage if anyone sees them, not that she knows that.
"Although the heath center in my town is mind controling people." Eliza admitted. "We're working on stopping that."
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"Currently they're they're just being...Super polite and good citizens. Which doesn't sound bad but they're tricking other people into going to the health centre so there are more of them." Eliza wraps her arms around herself. "If it wasn't for Mr Davis all but one of my friends would be controled."
"And they're loyal to the God-Machine, and the God-Machine wants to take over the world. I'm not too sure of the deatils, Max, I mean Davis can't give me a straight answer, and I don't know how much I can trust what anyone else says."
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"If it helps, I'm always here to listen! I might not be able to give any good advice, but you can vent to me. Apparently talking about your problems is healthy and stuff."

Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"Yeah... some of the ghosts are assholes."
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
Why is she shrinking away from her like that???
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
"You don't think this is..." Eliza waved at herself. "Freakish?"

"I should go home before I become a danger."

"I'm sorry about your workmates."
"I haven't seen any monsters in my world be cartoonosh like that thankfully."
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
Yes, she classifies magical girl as a type of monster.
"I'd take it over the ones that damage your sanity just looking at them, but that's kind of the other extreme."

Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
Evangeline isn't scared by much, but she's pretty sure that would do it.
Re: Hymn for the Missing - "Wolfman" Eliza for Evangeline
Eliza rubs her arm.
"But thanks. It's kinda weird to be able to talk about it. It's exausting having to talk around everything."
