[Part of Evangeline's job at the research center is to investigate cursed objects that get brought in! She did such a good job with the jar after all, it makes sense for that to be part of her usual work now. So on Friday, she's given a cursed mirror to investigate.

It's definitely cursed, but Evangeline isn't quite able to figure out what it does, and she goes home thinking she'll come back at it on Monday with a refreshed mind and take another look at it.

On Saturday morning, she wakes up as a pigeon.]

Oh! Yeah! Choco's sense of smell is way better than mine, so things actually taste a little different, I've noticed.

Then let's go! [Rinku grabs for her hand and makes happy noises, heading down the sidewalk.] Anna-chan sells basically everything, isn't it cool? Especially since it's such a fun district! I know it's really hot here in Solarpeak, that's why our guild house always has drinks and stuff for people, but...

Solarpeak's nice! I wouldn't want to live here full time, but it's fun to visit.

Right? I like it here, but I guess I wouldn't be able to live in Amberfall either. Mary-chan goes there a lot, though! I think because she likes all the art galleries and stuff.

The art galleries are pretty great! You should totally go with her sometime.

They must be if you say so too! And Mary-chan really cares about art. If I had to say, it's kind of... I guess kind of like how nature is my friend, right? She feels that way about paintings and stuff!

[Rinku probably doesn't know that Mary is a painting. She wouldn't love her any less, because she's Rinku, but it's not Evangeline's place to tell her that.]

She has a point! Art has people's feelings in it, so it's kind of alive, isn't it?

Yeah! So if she says it has feelings, it makes sense to me! That's why we have an art room and we let people draw on the house. Then we can see our friends' feelings all the time!

That's still such a cute idea. What happens when you run out of space, though?

I dunno! Get a ladder and draw higher up? Or a house expansion?

Oh, yeah, I guess since you can just infinitely expand your house here that isn't really a problem...

It's still pretty amazing to me! All I've ever lived in here in Ellipsa was different apartments, and expansions don't work on those.

Oh, that's right! I haven't lived in the apartments in so long that I totally forgot...

Even when I upgraded from the starter apartments, I just got a bigger apartment. I didn't think I needed something huge. But it kinda makes me feel a little more at home now. My grandma always wanted to move the whole family back to Japan, so while we were gone, she upgraded her house too! I mean, the normal way, we don't have house expansion thingies on Earth. But now it's way bigger than it was when I was a kid!
