[Part of Evangeline's job at the research center is to investigate cursed objects that get brought in! She did such a good job with the jar after all, it makes sense for that to be part of her usual work now. So on Friday, she's given a cursed mirror to investigate.

It's definitely cursed, but Evangeline isn't quite able to figure out what it does, and she goes home thinking she'll come back at it on Monday with a refreshed mind and take another look at it.

On Saturday morning, she wakes up as a pigeon.]

It's still pretty amazing to me! All I've ever lived in here in Ellipsa was different apartments, and expansions don't work on those.

Oh, that's right! I haven't lived in the apartments in so long that I totally forgot...

Even when I upgraded from the starter apartments, I just got a bigger apartment. I didn't think I needed something huge. But it kinda makes me feel a little more at home now. My grandma always wanted to move the whole family back to Japan, so while we were gone, she upgraded her house too! I mean, the normal way, we don't have house expansion thingies on Earth. But now it's way bigger than it was when I was a kid!

Your new house is definitely a lot more 'you', I think! Plus I'm glad you're not living on your own.

Yeah, it did get lonely sometimes. Not super lonely, since I had Mecchan, and then I got Hina-chan and Leon-kun, and there were always other people around. But Mary-chan and her friends make the place even more lively! And since we were both looking to move, I asked her if she wanted to move into my place and then get a house together when the rent was up!

Mary gets lonely easily, so I'm especially glad you moved in with her. -I mean, she has her friends, but still.

Huh, now that you mention it... She was really excited about moving in, and about the party since she could make a ton more friends. I hope everyone liked her, she's a really great kid.

She's super great, I agree. Mary deserves all the friends.

It sounds like she was kinda lonely back home, so I hope she's making way more friends here. She's too little for quests, so between that and work I'm not around all the time, but I try to make her happy when I'm home!

You think so? [happy noise] I should take her out more often, like for supper and stuff or the arcade or... what else do you do with kids?

...Most of the kids I've spent a lot of time with were Abnormalities that weren't supposed to leave their containment units, so... I'm not the right person to ask.

Aww. Maybe I should ask someone who has kids. How many people is that? [Rinku starts counting on her fingers and frowns.]

There's Lucy... Macaque met and adopted his kids as teenagers, I don't think he'd know either.

This might just be me personally but I think that a monkey siring a pigeon-human and a turtle would be pretty weird.
