All those months of work are paying off, and Rinku and Mary have moved to Solarpeak! Their new house, a beach-stilt-style house in walking distance from the Summer Guild building, is bright inside and out, and today there are balloons and games set up underneath the house and a wide-open door up the stairs leading into it.

Anyone who knows Rinku and/or Mary will have been invited to party; housewarming gifts are accepted but not required, and food is provided, ordered in from nearby restaurants. The bedrooms are closed but everywhere else is open, and if you need to get away from the party, you can go sit outside... or if Mecchan isn't scared of you, he might let you chill in his room for a while. Otherwise, have fun with the games, the art room, the music room, the food, and anything else!

The noise speaks for itself, and he pulls his blindfold up.]

It is! Eels may just look grey or green or black at first sight, but when you look more closely, they have so many colours... well, depending on what kind of eel it is.

[Of course, none of them can compete with her eel - the light that ripples through Jade's body in the dimness of the deeper waters is easily one of the most beautiful things she's seen in her life.]

Yours is an anglerfish, right? I've never seen one in person! I haven't dived that deep in the Great Ocean Lake.

[With how cold and dark it must be down there, is isn't very enticing!]

[Medusa gave his hand a gentle squeeze, enjoying the feeling of his hand in her's. Usually, she reached to take his hand when she was seeking out comfort in a emotionally strenuous situation- but she had forgotten that it also felt good even when she was just relaxing like this!

With her other hand, she continued to gently caress his cheek, half-closing her eyes as she relaxed.

And in turn, she slipped into speaking in his mind; but unlike him, she was a little less embarrassed about getting her feelings across.

"We should... utility aside, I like being close to you like this."

He was warm and comfortable, for one! But also, he was someone who's companionship she really did appreciate.]

[Sure is strange... then again, perhaps it's for the best the very extroverted child can't harass the antisocial snek too much.]

[No hesitation at all. The music in the room changes. Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol is playing somewhere around them now.]

He's my type. I mean, I'm pretty flexible with casual things. But when it comes to everything else? Esme is all I want. He's kind, soft, honest, he needs me and doesn't get I need him but I do. He's terrible at accepting compliments and will give you a million for just being nice to him. He wants to learn and explore and is terrified of being alone. And I love all of it.

He is my core.

Esme is my type.

Eliza watched Max's face for teasing because that sounded... suprisingly enourageing and supportive. Like he really meant it... but then his usual grin reappaered and Eliza happily returned to the comfort of trolling Max.

"Okay." She wasn't really sure how to phrase it, but he'd been mean enough to ask about her feelings for Esme so...

Max was indeed being encouraging and supportive. Sure, his resting trolling face came back, but that was very real there Eliza. Though when she asked the simple and broad question, Max actually blushed.

"Why not Esme? He's soft, kind, honest, he's oblivious sometimes and naïve. He's trusting to a degree that's dangerous and his heart is huge. It's full of holes, figuratively, and he just tries to fill it with love and friendship. He makes me feel like I can be a better person and inspires me to try. He looks at me and I see just how good he is and I want to be good for him. I love him with everything I am."

Max giggled as he kept going. "And honestly, then there's the-" Max's mouth moved and a censorship beep came out as well as a pixilation bar over his mouth. It went on for about 15 seconds.

"And his fur is so soooooft and his eyes all big and cute. I love everything about him. This flaws, his shining points, everything." He rolled around a little in his seat, just being a mushy mess.

But what he was saying... it was good, not even a sliver of anything shetchy. It was actually sweet.

Then came the 15 seconds of bleeping that she did NOT need to hear. The censorship was ridiculous but at the same time she was glad for it because she did NOT need to know.

"Uh... okay...that was cuter than I was expecting but also I don't ever what do know what you bleeped out okay?"

Mhm, I think they're cute. Dad used to paint them, too. He called it um... something- 'Abyss of the Deep', I think.
