A Sparkle About You	The Influencer Gala is coming up, highlighting new, existing and up-and-coming stars of the stream! For this, the city is encouraging even non-influencers to join in the fun. Do you have what it takes to influence someone in under a minute and shine your image to the masses?	Influencer stations will be set up around the shopping and scenic areas headed by NPC influencers, or even PC ones! The goal is to help train normal folk into helping them promote themselves, a product, or even their cat, and stream it! There's a variety of things to promote, performances to do and fun to have! There's a goal of five strangers to train and stream, whoever does it will be rewarded (insert a cute reward here), so be the stranger or the influencer here!	500 moon coins + a sample gift box of whatever you promoted
Walk Walk Fuss Me Baby	A high-end boutique’s wares were sabotaged by a manufacturing error and the owner is absolutely distressed! To make up for lost sales, they want you to walk the catwalk and show off what they have remaining while wearing special masquerade style masks to go with the outfits. But can you really be yourself under the glitz and glam?	Certain masks start having strange influences. These are all based on the color the character wears. Red, Pink: The person becomes more needy for attention and will do all it takes to charm people for it and become more alluring to those looking on them. White, Blue: The person is melancholic and mellow, the world seems so lovely that they grow dazed and almost dreamy and will start to grow cuddlier and affectionate with anyone watching them. Green, Orange: The person becomes more competitive and will do anything to make sure no one stands in their way, and may want to pick fights with those not looking at them right. Black, Purple: The person becomes paranoid about everything and doubtful about themselves and needs reassurance and will grow desperate for it. Let Me Be Your Sing-Song	Singing has been heard from some snow patches and caves and people are finding themselves drawn to the enchantment melodies and wandering deeper into the frigid zones, singing along and not returning. Something is out there, but what? Find out for me, please, and bring back the source of the songs before I lose more adventurers!	The travelers and adventurers who haven't returned are being turned into little ice sprites, winged creatures and enchanted to sing and play all day long until they become trapped in icicles who amplify any singing in their direction. To save them, people will have to sing their own songs in a duet and complete it to make the icicles melt and reform the adventurers!	1000 moon coins + a music box to record and store the enchanting melody, good for three uses
It Had to Be Glue	There's a strange sticky substance that has been forming near the springs, and I've found that it's helping some warm weather herbs grow while the substance is on the ground, even in the coldest temperatures. I'm curious about it, and will pay whoever brings me back six jars of it to study.	The substance is a naturally forming glue from the residue of ice-slugs and fertilizer that works as a growth formula for anything planted within it, and can be used as a natural adhesive and gum for cosmetics! It has no smell, but it adds a glittering shine when used in art pieces! It only grows plants in frigid temperatures, however… and the kitten-sized ice-slugs making it can get very aggressive if they find people stealing it, so everyone should be prepared to slice through the glue with a warmth-imbued weapon!	800 moon coins + a jar of Cooldhesive
Sugar, oh Honey Honey	I happened upon the sweetest treat during an expedition out and want to find it again because it saved my life and energized me. It looked like a strawberry, but made of ice! I'll pay for anyone who can bring me back a small box of them!	The treat is actually a Glaciberry, in which the snow-bees store their honey, which can be used as a sugar and sweetener substitute. They're usually left alone, but have a sweet flavor and scent that's attractive to Growlpoohs (a type of terrifying and adorable small bear, who will try and attack people if they see the berry is plucked). Find them before you get mauled for desserts! (Or bring a bear because they're cute when they have sweets.)	800 moon coins + a Glaciberry Dessert

Spring Segment

Breezing through quests [ Click to Expand ]

This Isn't Riding Like I Know	There's some extra space at the Farmlands that we've set up for a very fun competition. It's called the Partner Carrying contest! Run around a track with various obstacles while carrying the person you love the most. While the contest is called Partner Carrying, it could also be a sibling or a friend, too. Some of the obstacles are a little bit muddy, but what's a little mess when you're having fun?	The obstacles are filled with different things made with what nature provides, such as going through mud, jumping over logs, jumping over logs into water, and various other things. Be creative! How someone carries their partner is up to them, but the one carried isn't allowed to touch the ground during the race. Getting wet or muddy is naturally allowed. People are allowed to partner up even with strangers, the natives running the competition won't do a background check.	2000 Moon Coins for making past the obstacle course and a "Clean Mud Off Things Instantly" Spell for participating
Shake your Groove Thing	There's a dancing troupe in town, and they claim that their dances can stimulate hearts and bring joy and blessings to all. I think those blessings involve my wallet, though. As I watched them dance, I kept giving them more and more credits to keep dancing! I'm broke now! Do something about them!! They were seen escaping to the Spring Segment.	They're thieves! They're using a mind-altering dance spell during their performances. The goal is to sabotage them and reveal to the world that these jerks can't dance at all, and break the spell with a real one! If the quest taker doesn't know how to dance, they'll be given a pair of dancing shoes that will let them move it, move it for fifteen minutes to break the spell. They might have to fight the criminal dancers after, so be ready for a real show!	Dancing shoes
❗High Risk Quest❗ A Hundred Needles	Cacti are usually something you find from the desert, right? Well, I saw a bunch of them in the Spring Segment. Not just that, but they kept changing places every time I looked away. It's like one of those games where you need to freeze before someone spots you moving... but with cacti? In the spring segment? I was too afraid to approach them any more than that, but maybe it's worth checking out what they are?	Cactifolk are monsters that have risen from the Darkness due to someone leaving their dead cactus too close to the barrier. They move every time no one's looking by uprooting themselves from the ground and creating a set of legs and arms. Some of them even create faces. If someone gets too close to investigate, they stop pretending to be regular cacti and attack with needle projectiles. These needles cause a lot of damage and having a hundred of them stuck to somebody will kill them (99 does not, but it's really painful) due to the needles having an essence that will activate at that moment. When desperate, they will try to "hug" their opponents - by body slamming into the opponent they're fighting. Their needles act as a good defense against weapons, but magic does at least decent damage. To deactivate any of them, one must flip them upside down and pluck out a needle... or alternatively tickle them with a feather. The dark energy surrounding the monsters will make otherwordly abilities less effective against them. And yes, these are inspired by a certain recurring Final Fantasy monster.	9000 Moon Coins

Crawling In My Skin CW/TW: plant parasites	Strange Plant monsters have been appearing all over the north area of the Jungle of Judgement. These monsters, like everything else, don't approach the Temple of Life, but they do approach anyone who wanders away from the place. A friend of mine got touched by one and now has a weird mark on his hand - and it keeps spreading! Please help me figure out how to help him.	Parasite Plants are monsters that will attempt to leave their mark on people. The mark starts spreading, attempting to take over their whole body and eventually root the person into the ground. It hurts quite a bit as the mark slowly spreads. It will take approx. 2 weeks for the plant to take over one's body completely. Samples suggest that keeping the mark in cold water will halt the growth - and making a potion out of the leaves of the monsters will kill it completely. The plants themselves are very weak against cold things.	5000 Moon Coins
Motion Motivation	On the shores of the Great Ocean Lake, there are a variety of seashells. One seashell out of twenty is a special one that is essential for medicine that help with motion sickness. You will recognize a seashell with the right properties by touching them and feeling a cool sensation coming from the shell. I would travel to find them myself, but I am a victim of motion sickness and the beach can be a little dangerous without powers. But I will reward you with the potion and some moon coins for the trouble.	The seashells come in a variety of colors and shapes. There are other seashells with magical properties as well, as mermaids who come up occasionally would tell: one that lets you sense when rain is about start (feels moist despite having been in the sand for a good while) and another that can turn seawater into something one can drink (feels soft, despite having a hard shell). Like the one mentioned in the quest, these seashells are one in twenty regular.	1000 moon coins per five seashells, motion sickness medicine
Not My Wonderwall	Do not trust the oasis that appears on the Deserter's Desert. I was taking a break on a beach near the Lighthouse when suddenly I started feeling thirsty. Instead of going back to the airship, I noticed an oasis nearby and decided it would be faster to go there than back. But once I got there, I was almost eaten by what looked like an octopus. In the middle of the sand! The oasis was apparently an illusion it can create, since it disappeared right after. A dangerous beast. Might be a good idea to get rid of it!	Sand Octopi are a giant species of octopus that live in the sand. They come to the surface only to lure animals and people alike into their illusions that look like a refreshing oasis. Once the prey is close enough, they will reveal themselves from the sand and try to eat whoever is there. Their tentacles feel rough and have the ability to stun someone - but if you slice them off they won't at least grow back!	3000 Moon Coins

Autumn Segment

Golden Repairs	A vein of special gold has been found from the rocks near the Lake of Healing. Much like the lake's restorative powers, this gold will fix anything and leave a golden mark in its wake. We've heard there's an art called 'kintsugi' where you fix broken things like this. We would most definitely like some of this special gold, more of which can be probably found from the forest, but recently there's been more monsters roaming around. We will reward people for any rocks they can find with the gold in them.	Kintsugi Rocks can be found all around the lake and north of it, as they have been formed by the lake's healing powers. The melted gold can be used on various items as well as on people (the scars will turn golden). It's said to bring good luck to anyone and protect the cracks and wounds from reopening. The gold attracts Apprentice Crows: a species of crows that are learning under the Warlock Crows and do small elemental spells, like conjure fire or water at anyone with any sticks they find.	4000 Moon Coins, Bottle of Liquid Kintsugi Gold
That's My Internet	The areas near Autumn Segment have had very bad connection lately. Anyone who lives nearby the river surrounding the city will tell you about how they've died in games due to bad connections. No one else believes me, but I swear every time connections go bad, these bioluminescent moths appear out of nowhere. Could they be connected to the case? Hehe, see what I did there?	Wi-Fi Moths are a species of special moths that feed on a variety of electricity and data connections by landing on wires and boxes that produce them. This time they have taken an interest in internet connections. A few moths wouldn't pose a problem, but there's a huge amount of them flying around. They escape to the Autumn Segment after they've eaten they share, glowing bright in their bioluminescent light. Capturing them will allow the person to boost their internet connection for a while, especially if they keep feeding the moths electricity (like full batteries).	500 Moon Coins, Wi-Fi Moth
❗High Risk Quest❗ I Came In Like a Landslide CW/TW: buried alive	Due to the increase in rain, Autumn Segment also has had an increase in mud. This, in turn, has created landslides. They're threatening the barriers built for natives to safely walk outside. On top of that, some people have mysteriously been swallowed by mud, never to be seen again. It's like a part of the landslides are alive. We need power holders to help out to manage the mud as well as they can.	The mud has been corrupted by the Darkness, making it into various Mud Monsters. These monsters take different shapes and forms to attack people and eat them to make their mud even stronger. People stuck inside the mud can survive for a while due to small air pockets inside the mud, but the longer it takes, the more likely they drown or suffocate. Their weaknesses and strengths are easily relatable to regular mud. The hard thing about the monsters is there are a lot of them, usually even at the same time. The dark energy surrounding the monsters will make otherwordly abilities less effective against them.	9000 Moon Coins

We specialize in fantasies and have several costumes for people to act out their dream scenarios together. Or if you're unsure, you can get a free assessment of what kind of costume would make your figure even more sexy. The costumes also have a magical property of relieving stress the more you get into the role, so it's both sexy and nice for your psyche! Anyone who buys an outfit will get a voucher for a spa, located in the Underground Mall.	The costumes come in a variety of sizes and looks. What they failed to tell in the quest is that the costumes also make someone extremely horny if worn too long without getting into an intimate situation, so buying a costume for a regular party might be a bad idea. Under(wear)cover Mission CW/TW: Public Nudity	A casino in the Red Light District is hosting a competition, where you play with your clothes on the line instead of your money - but if you win you get a million Moon Coins. It's basically Strip Betting. The problem is, they're cheating and we know it. We need people to join in on the competition and find evidence of the staff playing dirty. The worst part is, if you lose all your clothes, they will kick you out into the street naked. Don't ask how I know...	The clothes you bet with start with accessories and proceed to underwear at the end. Giving up during the contest will lead to the same results as losing, except you at least have some clothes on your back. Dressing in multiple layers of clothes isn't forbidden, but the casino's temperature is made very warm on purpose.	4000 Moon Coins for evidence, 1,000,000 Moon Coins if you win

City Crime Quests
This questboard on an app on the phone and is only unlockable if your character has received a (handwaved) code for it from one of the crime organizations or just criminals of Nightwake. Another way is to hack your way in if you know it exists.
You don't need mod permission to do these, just make sure you find a reasonably way for your character to get there.
Anyone can be a victim of these quests.
Should players doing these quests wish for IC consequences, they may report their character here - or just assume that NPC law enforcement characters are on a lookout for them.

Framing Game	I need someone to help me cover up for my crimes. I don't want you to become a scapegoat, but I want you to frame what I do onto someone else. What do I do? I rob people, especially those who are rich and famous. But the problem lately has been that I have the police on my trail, and I need more criminals to appear in their radar. I will leave stolen goods at specific locations marked on the app, so you can get them from those places. Later I will post a location to pick up your payment.	This person does a lot of robberies and there's a lot to be framed. Frame an NPC or a player character with their permission - or try to leave helpful hints about whom the crook actually is, if you're using the app for fighting crime.	3000 Moon Coins
The Ace of Spades	Here's a list of people my boss wants to have beaten up. It's too much of a hassle, but I bet there are people on here who could do it for me. You'll get 75% of the pay I would get for the jobs, too - that is, as long as you don't get caught. You don't need to kill anyone, just make sure they feel the punishment and leave an Ace of Spades card next to their beaten up form. These people have angered the boss, but not enough to kill them yet. If it was just killing, I could have done it myself.	The people are a variety of native NPCs, including Law Enforcement officers and Research Center staff. Who knows, maybe one of the player characters has been named as well.	7000 Moon Coins

That's really cool, though! I didn't have powers at all back home, that didn't exist.

Oh, what is your world like then? There must be different things there compared to this world or mine.

Lots of fun! I've lived in a few different countries, so there's a lot of difference, but it feels like there's always something new. Especially since there's nothing like the Darkness they have here, so the world's really big. Hmm... I don't know where to start.

Why don't we start with where you're from? I didn't get the chance to travel much before coming here, so hearing about different places is always interesting.

Where I'm from? Hmm... I was born in Japan, but then I moved around a lot, then I spent a bunch of my life on Tiotio Island, and then moved back to Japan. They're really different places. Tiotio Island is really small, off the coast of Madagascar, and really hot. There's a jungle full of monkeys and beetles and lizards and everyone speaks Malagasy or French, and the people really love music. I guess that's how I got my sense of rhythm, or at least that's what everybody says! There was no one my age in the village, but I made friends with the animals and had fun every day.

When I went back to Japan, there was a whole lot to get used to! I got to go to a huge school with classes full of people the same age as me! Like, huge! There's more students there than there were people in my village before! But I found DJing and started doing that, since Yoba Academy really supports the performing arts and they let people host lives in their auditoriums. I've got a unit back there... I hope they're still performing without me. It's been over a year now.

[Rinku sulks for a moment. Mecchan makes a concerned noise from her shoulder and begins to tear up. Rinku vigorously shakes her head and perks up again.]

Oh, right! There's no one like you in my world. I mean, there's cute girls, and a lot of them are really nice too, but there's no catpeople. It's all just humans. I guess that's kind of weird compared to here.

I see. I hope your teammates have been doing well while they wait for you.

And while our worlds do sound very different, people with my features are not very common where I come from either. I apparently get mine from a distant ancestor--but my twin brother doesn't have them.

Huh, so it's a recessive gene or something? I guess that would mean people with cat ears and people without them are the same species. That's kind of cool too, Lynette-chan!

I don't fully understand it, but that seems to be the gist of it. We do have other races like the youkai, Melusines, and illuminated beasts that tend to look more different and have unique abilities.

Wow... your home sounds really interesting! My big sister would have so much fun there. I mean the one here, not the one in my world. Oh, but! What do you think of Ellipsa so far?

Who is your sister here, if you don't mind my asking?

As for Ellipsa, it's been an interesting experience so far. I've mostly been trying to gather information and adjust, which is why I picked an easier-looking quest to start with. I do have some combat abilities, but I'm not sure how strong the enemies here are, yet.

Eh? It's Evangeline-neechan. She likes it here a lot, and she gets along well with people who aren't human!

I think it depends. Some enemies are really strong, but that's usually on the high-risk quests, and they mark those. How about here?

I see. I'm glad to hear some people like it here. That's also good to know about the quest difficulty. Is there any other information you think would be useful for a newcomer to know?

Hmm... You can train and stuff at your guild, too. Which season are you?

Summer. I don't think I've officially joined the guild, but that's good to know.

Oh, I'm summer too! [Rinku sparkles at her.] They're nice there. And the guild house is in Solarpeak and I hang around there a lot anyway since it's such a fun district. Oh! And guild members who take on lots of quests all the time get to have their own room in the guild house! I think that's in every guild, though, not just ours.

What a funny coincidence, that we're from the same season. I guess it isn't too unlikely given the quest location, but still.

What kind of rooms are in the guild house? For living in, or for storage or practice?

Like those relaxation rooms on the top floor people take naps in! The rest of the rooms up there are the same but for specific people. And the guild staff meeting room, I guess. Although there are places in the guild house for training! Even simulators!

Oh, that sounds useful for recharging.

[ She also takes note of the other rooms, but relaxation rooms sound more fun. ]

I think so! Although usually I'm more go, go, go! It's hard to run out of energy when everything here is so fun.

[She sorts through shells with a smile, holding each of them up in turn.]

I usually have to take breaks in between work. At least this isn't too tiring, but it will be nice to relax with a cup of tea after we finish.

[ She also continues to look at shells, sometimes pausing to reinspect a shell in case she classified it incorrectly the first time. ]

Eh? Okay. Is it that social battery thing people talk about sometimes?

Aww, that one was just cool because it was in the shade. Are you finding any cold ones, Mecchan?

Yes. My brother is much better at interacting with people.

[ It's helpful when they're together as she can stand off to the side. But they aren't always together, so she does sometimes have to deal with social interactions on her own. ]

I suppose if the special shells were easier to find, then there wouldn't be a need for a request like this.

I wonder what kind of animal they come from, anyway? And what kind of magic it has?

Some sort of healing ability, I would assume. But the special shells don't look the same, so they can't all be from the same animal. Unless it's like a hermit crab that imbues any shell that it uses with this property.
