[Honestly, Dan Heng doesn't spend much time in the winter segment. Cold weather is not his favorite thing, but curiosity wins out this time: word of the new Titanic Dome has him making the trek and taking in the scenery along the way.
And seeing frozen but perfectly formed, colorful flowers? That is more than enough reason to linger for someone like Dan Heng, his notebook out to take notes and smartphone in hand to snap a few photos.
He wonders how they manage to grow like this...? Clearly the frost causes no harm to the blooms.
He doesn't expect them to melt the moment he touches one, however.]
Flour, Sugar, Egg, Magic
[All this fuss about pancakes... Dan Heng doesn't quite understand the relation between pancakes and the seasons changing, but it's interesting nonetheless.
He's not particularly inclined to indulging in a great deal of them either, but seeing that the little cat-like creatures wandering around seem to enjoy them, he doesn't hesitate to offer what he can't eat to the jellycats. It's a good opportunity to observe them, and the happy little purrs they make are quite endearing.
He's starting to run out of pancakes, though.... The jellycats look like they're ready to mob him for what scraps are left.]

[The commotion is coming from a particularly greedy (hungry!! starving!!) jellycat not particularly far from Dan Heng. The little orange jellycat was purring and wiggling with an extreme amount of enthusiasm to appear the cutest it could be, which was to great effect on the poor old man who was spending more time feeding bites of pancakes to it than himself.
Despite being clearly bullied by a creature a fraction of his size, the familiar face to Dan Heng is clearly enjoying himself. He's weak to small and cute things, which is a thing the jellycat was exploiting to the fullest.
He does give his plate a surprised, if not worried glance when he sees how much he's fed to the little creature. So distracted by it, he only just notices Dan Heng— unusual for him, as attentive to his surroundings. The general's brows briefly raise, surprised, but as he isn't exactly a normal person instead of getting up to say hello, he scoops up the jellycat into his hands and holds it up like he was presenting it for baptism.]

So really, he's not much better off than Jing Yuan here, though he's far from surprised to see Jing Yuan absolutely doting over one of the little creatures. It suits the man somehow, to know he's not just fond of birds.
There's a small quirk to his lips that's barely perceptible when Jing Yuan holds up the jellycat, but it's clearly amused.] I see you've found a rather eager lunch companion, general.

[Oryou doesn't love cold weather either, but she does like colorful things like flowers, enough to wander away from the path.]
That's too bad. It's pretty.

[Especially since Dan Heng ran a bit cooler than most humans, regardless of how he disguised himself. The sound of a familiar voice approaching draws his gaze away from where the flower had been, recognition clear in his gaze.... and surprise.]

[He's always happy to see his friends, but there's something oddly satisfying about seeing her out here. Felicitous, almost.]
