The smile on her lips is brilliant when she sees him dressed in the clothes she picked outβ no, perhaps not as fancy as hers, but comfortable for him, and that's what's most importantβ and when he laughs after a few moments of silent shock. All in all, it's enough to tell her that she's done the right thing, and as his hand moves to her waist, hers lifts to his shoulder.
And then he tells her that he still can't dance, and Rinoa laughs. ]
Mm, except last time I had to tell you where to put your hands, you know? I think you've learned a thing or two, Squall.
[ But with no one else around them, she guides them into an easier pace, following the song at half its tempo as she gives Squall time to adjust. ]
Is it okay like this?
[ Once he's comfortable with their rhythm, she'll tell him about their plans for the evening. ]

Don't get your hopes up too much.
[ Because now? With the music set and Rinoa leading, he's looking at their feet and not at her, counting in his head and getting used to the rhythm. He knows it won't end in disaster though, not with her, but he'll still want to do his part and actually do well.
Better than before, anyway. ]
I'm getting used to it. [ A beat. ] You really made me dress up so we could dance in the living room?
