[OPEN] Starlight Wedding
WHO: Aymeric de Borel, Night Sky, and the entirety of Ellipsa.

Betrothed by Starlight
Join Lord Aymeric de Borel and his beloved bride Night Sky in holy matrimony at their Starlight Celebration of Love.
As ever, Aymeric was dressed well, and in blue, with a boutonniere matching Night Sky's bouquet. As composed and well-spoken as he generally is, the moment he saw Night Sky come down the aisle, he was as a lovesick boy. With a wide, joyous smile, and misty eyes (and just a little happy sniffle), Aymeric welcomed Night Sky to stand at the alter with him. Luckily, he regained himself enough to speak his vow:
"Night Sky. My beloved Starlight. You were the first person I met upon arriving in Ellipsa, and it was with you that I built my first relationship in this strange, new place. I still look back upon our weekly hand-holding meetings with fondness. We ate at your fire, and shared stories and laughter, and danced under the moonlight with naught but our voices for music. The closer we became, the more your shell fell away, and you blossomed into the incredible woman whom I shall soon be fortunate enough to call my wife.
I swear unto you that I shall be ever faithful to you, honest with you, and supportive for you.
Your beauty thrills me. Your sincerity eases me. Your heart calls to mine, and mine to yours, eternally. I love you, Night Sky. No god nor abyss between worlds shall come between us."
Standing opposite him at the alter, only just holding herself together during the entirety of his speech, Night Sky could be seen (for the first and very likely last time) entirely dolled up. Her wild hair had been tamed and was now purposefully decorated with flowers that matched the bouquet she held in her hands (her left ring finger adorned with her also appropriately themed engagement ring). Thanks to the efforts of her maid of honor and a few others, her makeup was done and her dress, while not a traditional white, was beautiful and more than suited her. When the matching moon-blessed veil had been ceremoniously swept back from her face, she spoke her vows with a faint hint of a tremble in her voice, clearly holding back tears just long enough to speak.
"My sweet knight, I'm sure we both know that I am the last person that should be making long winded speeches, so I'll try to keep this short and to the point.
You are the most beautiful man I have ever met. And I don't just mean in appearance - but you are gorgeous, just so we're clear - but in your soul and in your heart. I am eternally grateful that we were both brought here so that we could meet one another on that bridge, so that we could do that ridiculous quest together and form a bond from it.
I can't deny that I loved you the second I saw you. I was lost in the bright blue sky of your eyes and I couldn't look away. Your smile is like a ray of sunlight, and I knew that I wanted to be the one you smiled for. I am so lucky that you felt the same and that we're here together.
I love you, Aymeric. And I will be sure that we're not separated ever again, even if I have to tear through the realms to be by your side."
With that, they exchanged rings, and then a kiss, and then they were wed. A tear finally slipped through Aymeric's poise. How could it not, with him smiling so brightly?
After their small ceremony, Aymeric and Night Sky open the Coldreach's Observatory for a night of festive celebration. Being both their wedding andChristmas the Starlight Celebration, there's no shortage of merriment to be had! The drink is flowing, the music is lively, and the halls are decked - come one, come all!
This is no boring, stately wedding reception. The decor dazzles in royal blues, forest greens, glittering gold, and sleek silver, with pops of berry red in all the right places. The air is rich with song and spice. Aymeric put his seasonal powers to work making clear ice candle luminaries with pine boughs and holly frozen within. Small heart-shaped ice sculptures are found throughout the reception, inside and out. All of the plants are fresh and real, grown that day through Night Sky's dryad powers. Slightly-off-but-close-enough mistletoe sprigs hang from various spots and doorways. A few cozy campfires are set up outside, with blankets and roast-able snacks - and a picturesque light snowfall has graced the evening, too. There's tables full of food, and lots of space for dancing.
The food is presented in a robust buffet, with much of it made into festive shapes. Charcute-wreaths, anyone? There's a lot of variety in the buffet's spread. Smoked meats and cheeses, nutty tarts, fresh bread, and...hot dogs? To name a few. And drinks are in abundance - both alcoholic and non - to wash it all down. Night Sky made a special tea blend just for the occasion: orange with cinnamon, clove, and an undertone of vanilla. Aymeric made a large ice sculpture to decoratively hold several wine bottles and keep them perfectly chilled in the process. There's much to choose from across every flavour palate. And later on in the evening comes a hot chocolate bar!
Everybody gets a bag with two servings worth of Night Sky's tea as their guest gift. May you feel some of Aymeric and Night Sky's warmth and love whenever you enjoy it.
