WHO: Nikkolaus and Nel
WHAT: WEAPONS!! and cow birds I guess
WHEN: Sometime in December
WHERE: Summer Segment
WARNINGS: None for now, will update if that changes.
Despite overall satisfaction with his weapon, Nikkolaus can't help being intrigued at the idea of a weapon that's constantly evolving with its owner. Aurora has a touch of that, being tied to his magical destiny or whatever. But it would help to know the jungle has to offer in terms of weapons that could suit just about anyone. And if he got another versatile weapon out of the venture, that was just a bonus. Perhaps he could even develop something more long range (and not a gun) to diversify his arsenal.
He's cautious as he approaches the waterfall. The notice didn't mention any hazards, but it never hurts to be on guard. That said, the golden water is strangely mesmerizing. Almost like a cascade of his own solar power transformed into liquid. And for all his cold facade, he's never been able to resist beauty.
Which is very convenient for the lone Buffa-loon watching just beyond the cave's entrance.

It distracts him enough that he misses the ever so faint sound of feathers rustling behind the waterfall, as the Buffa-loon prepares for the intruders.

She didn't want to quarrel with a creature if possible, but if there was a chance of getting the materials for a better weapon that would grow with it's user, then she would prefer that. So, she resolved herself that if there was a need for force, that she would use it to achieve her own ends.
The dragon would also protect Nikkolaus as best she could, though there was little doubt he had power to protect himself.
