The rules were that we were not to use our Visions, but there was no restrictions on our seasonal powers granted by this world...and once I figured out he was using his to beat me, I simply countered with my own seasonal powers to even the playing field. Once I did that, I was able to overcome his hidden ability.

However, my use of cryo ended up being a bit of a double-edged sword...thus why I ended up over his shoulder at some point.
