The MK Intimidation Squad
WHO: Red Son, Wukong, Macaque
WHAT: Payback
WHEN: After the masquerade
WHERE: A location not too far from the underground mall
WARNINGS: Violence, demon intimidation tactics, spicy talk
The Hearts Gang was lucky in many ways. The luck was in that the fact the person they messed with was MK, who was overall a very good boy who preferred it if no one had to get seriously hurt for problem solving.
The bad luck was the fact the person they messed with was MK and he had three extremely protective immortals who are willing to go as far as they think they can without truly upsetting him and there was enough wiggle room in that for an extremely bad time to be had.
Red Son probably could have had the information sooner, but working on Saya's hibernation project took priority. Helping loved ones was more important than revenge. But he had kept out the feelers, slipped in some sabotage, kept up the work enough to get the information he wanted. It still took a bit of time after, but he had it.
He had the full list of names of every Heart Gang member who was working the day MK arrived on Ellipsa. And he found a day where in that full list of names should be present again. There were a few others, but frankly, he didn't much care for collateral damage. They were part of the same gang, they would have done the same thing, so they deserved it well enough. All that mattered is that all of those who COULD have been involved WERE present.
So a few days before hand, he sends a message to Wukong and Macaque.
They should all be present finally to be taught their overdue lesson. Along with the day, time, and where to meet.
Red Son wasn't far from the facility, waiting for the other two to arrive not long after sunset. Wearing a new hairpin with red gems and has a small cooler nearby because hey, he's never one to be remiss about achieving more than one goal at a time.

MK was emotionally charged from the start. MK wasn't one worth losing to carnal pursuits. There was simply no great risk when it came to Macaque.
Now hopefully he doesn't go the route of Saya, but considering how hung up he is on Wukong, it seemed unlikely.
"Even if we can, it changes the approach, so best to know," Red Son said with a shrug. Especially when elemental powers were not necessarily the best in confined spaces when you didn't want to severely injure or kill people, but still make a Point.
Red Son nodded, picking up the cooler and pulling out an electronic device. "Do we wish to go in loud, or get to sublevel five first? Because this is already geared to hack into their automated locks," he said, heading for the facility.

Wukong wasn't actually thinking season powers. Any one of them had the training to hold their own without using powers. Three of them would be fine.
He fell in step behind Red Son, purposely not letting his eyes linger on Macaque.
no subject
said the complete hypocrite who only bothered because he was told Wukong was coupling up with Saya. ]Hang onto this, will you? [ He's talking to some of his shadow clones, to which he hands the guard along with a grin that is a clear threat. ]
You realize I could put us in that room without even using the stairs. [ His portals are useful like that. He doesn't need to see where he's going so long as there's any shadows in the vicinity to peek through. ] But fighting our way in does have a certain appeal.
[ He trots up to walk vaguely beside Wukong. Don't ignore him when he's trying to be a smug asshole, it's rude. ]
no subject
That isn't even on purpose. Red Son is focused on the task at hand and there is hardly any reason to filter out the information he knows.
"Though if we're going for more psychological terror," he started because hey, if they had to hold back on the physical pain, they could still enjoy just fucking with their heads. It'd probably go farther in convincing them to stop anyway. "It'd still be better to be in before we're in the room with them. Then I can hijack their locks and make sure they can't leave until our say so."
no subject
Oh, well that more than confirmed exactly what Macaque was doing. After being THE WORST about Saya for supposedly hurting MK too. He was flaunting being with Red Son like it was just Tuesday and being smug about it?! What is his deal?!
Whatever. They can finish the mission and then he's gone so the two of them can get back to be whatever they're being with each other. It's none of his business, and he's not planning to give Macaque the satisfaction. The irritated waving of his tail might though.
no subject
Always so punchy, Wukong. One day you're going to regret not being more careful. [ Today in "things he's REALLY gonna regret saying in an hour." ]
Still, it works for me. We'll be moving in the same plane so a lot less likely to be disorienting. [ Shifting position, such as when one goes from vertical to horizontal, or horizontal to very differently so, tend to be a lot harder to keep up with when you're not used to it. ]
no subject
It just also has the side effect of him not necessarily thinking of things OUTSIDE the task at hand other than what is pertinent information.
"That's good. Its dizzying trying to catch up to the new position and I'm almost done with the set up," he said, eyes still on the device. "Get us in the stairwell and there'll be a keypad I can access. Once its done, we go in and the doors will all lock automatically after ten seconds." He's had a lot of time to gather information. "Then we'll just need to break the elevator, but that can happen during the loud easily enough. We'll break down the doors when we're done."
Then he grins to himself. "It'll take them longer to figure out there's a virus changing their passwords every three days if they don't have to try and break out." Just long enough for them to not NECESSARILY catch on its a virus from their efforts, and make it harder for them to fix the problem.
no subject
"And the longer they're figuring out what's going on there, the less they can do anymore harm too."
He really shouldn't be this bothered, but he can redirect that frustration in a moment.
no subject
[ Anyway. ]
[ He moves closer to Red Son and opens a portal. ] C'mon then, let's go have some fun. And also fix up MK and prevent further problems. [ He has his priorities straight. ]
[ He shoots Wukong a grin. ] We'll try to leave you something.
no subject
Nothing like getting to use his less than noble skills to do something that MK might actually approve of.
Even if the motives were selfish.
Sometimes love was compromise.
He doesn't show any sign of moving away when Macaque gets close, not even glancing up from the machine. Certainly not an oddity from how reactive he can usually be.
"Let's go," he said moves through the portal, immediately moving to the keypad by the door and popping it open to connect the device. It really takes no time at all after the set up to unlock the door and get the virus into their system. Really, the risks of bluetoothing one's security system.

Child's play really and it gave him some space away from Macaque a bit to refocus. He hated how much the other monkey was getting under his skin here. He wanted to go back to just not being bothered by anything. But he couldn't.
no subject
Now. [ Macaque is pacing around in front of the clone-grappled scientists, who look to be scared enough to abandon the gang and start new lives in a monastery ] What have we all learned about poisoning a nice kid who happens to be friends with powerful immortals? Or poisoning anyone indiscriminately, for that matter.
no subject
Sure, he can admit to himself that maybe, maybe he's not naturally villainous as he has talked himself up to being. He certainly had no desire for the destruction of the universe. He didn't really have the impulse to destroy a city without guidance from someone of import to him.
But it was absolutely delightful to terrorize people, scaring them, uncaring if they got injured or burned (as long as it wasn't too much.)
It was especially fun to see the scramble for the elevator, only to send in the delightful mix of fire and compressed air that did lovely work of sealing the doors together. The treatment was given to their security systems and weapons, automated turrets and handheld devices systematically turns to melted scrap.
The mad cackling also made for a lovely contrast compared to the more subtle horror of the shadows. Nothing like the loud and showy making the subtle even more horrifying.
He was humming quite happily as he moved along their supplies, which had remained relatively untouched, collecting samples and whatever appeared to have notes on it, from notepads to a few tablets. He could hack into those later.
There was some protest from a scientist on how they agreed to pay off their debts-
"Coercion isn't consent and your machines are rigged! I have the stats~" Red Son called out in a sing song voice. "Which I shall be submitting as an anonymous tip to the authorities later tonight."

Wukong had found a whiteboard and some markers and was busying himself with doodles to illustrate the points. "I mean, you're lucky I didn't come snooping sooner or things might have been a biiit less pretty. But, I had time to think on things and decided to see what you all do with today's lesson. Fair? Fair."
no subject
Let me know when you're done shopping. [ He thumps his staff menacingly above the heads of several grappled gang members. See, this is what he'll be wrecking your shit with. ]
no subject
At least the teacher monkey was over by the whiteboard? That was probably fine? Dear god, please let it be fine.
"Oh yes, it could be quite a bit less pretty," Red Son said, doing another once over of the supplies. "You know, there are some people who don't need any sort of monsterification to take a bite out of people. To some people, human meat would be considered a delicacy," Red Son said, looking to the gang members as he as ended up close to them again, showing off his fangs fully, even letting the horns and other bull creatures appear, a bit of fire curling from his mouth. "Its a great way to get rid of bodies too."
He sure did miss hearing those terrified whimpers.
The glamour was back in full as he turned to Macaque. "I have all the samples I need."
no subject
Finishing off his doodle and capping the markers, he started to put them away, but decided to keep the box. MK could probably use them. "Well, that's the cue for Monkey Class to let out, and for me to actually get out and enjoy my day. You're really lucky. I don't bring out the markers for bad students. So, what do you say~?"
There were a few timid thank yous. Someone this carefree and cheerful in with two much more sinister characters...how?
no subject
[ Mac twirls his staff and proceeds to start smashing up anything that looks valuable. Sends his shadows out to do more smashing. Casually bashes his way through a granite countertop to make a point. ]
no subject
"Eh, you know it started tapering off a few centuries ago. I was barely to your waist at the time," Red Son said with a shrug. "I guess pork was easier to get."
He carefully puts a hand on top of the cooler, and banishes it back to his workshop in a burst of fire.
With the necessary supplies safely tucked away, Red Son joined in on the destruction, with far less restraint now. With all the gang leaders in one place, it was a lot easier to melt things down, a manic giggle on his lips.
no subject
Wukong cracked his knuckles and proceeded to join in with only brute strength. Hands on was always more his style and it was the most satisfying way to make a point and to also work off his frustration, confliction, resentment. The works.
no subject
[ In no time at all, there's very little left to smash... unless they were going to include heads. Alas. ]
no subject
Probably.
Still, he does look at Wukong with might even be called puppy dog eyes.
no subject
"Alright, pretty sure the point's been made. Let's get out of here."
no subject
[ Macaque has his shadow clones lift a few of the gang scientists up a few meters and drops them onto the floor. What, it's nonlethal. ]
They were lunging.
[ Quick Red Son, that one's got a concealed weapon! ]
no subject
For this particular agreement, he was going to be good.
As much as he thinks Wukong went too far in his tirade, he doesn't want to make 'working for MK's good' harder in the future.
But he does laugh when Macaque drops the scientists, looking quite delighted. "They really should have known better," he said with an amused smirk, as he gestures for the door. Sure, he could break down the door, but either monkey would make it a far more impactful show.
