WHAT: Bunnies! And camping! But mostly bunnies!!
WHEN: Sometime in October
WHERE: Spring Segment
WARNINGS: Should be none, considering it's the bunny quest.

[The idea of just heading out into the segment proper and setting up camp for a day or two was Chipp's, of course - it came about as everyone had been discussing some of the new quests over a meal, more than one of them excitedly bringing up the giant rabbits in the Spring segment before it was discovered that just about all of them wanted to go.
So making a whole trip out of it just made sense, right?? Right.

Their campsite isn't too far away from where a lot of the rabbits seem to be gathering, two tents set up around a spur-of-the-moment metal fire pit set up by the resident metalhead (heh). They've got some good amenities, of course - coolers for food, bags next to trees to tie up leftovers out of the reach of bears, plenty of gear for fishing...
And, of course, plenty of brushes and bags for collecting up whatever extra fur they manage to snag. There's gonna be a lot, and man, if that ain't the best thing to collect a bunch of when you live in the perpetual Autumn district.

So, now that all that is out of the way... what's everyone up to?]

[ Kenta doesn't have any brushes, because Nen already has his brush! In exchange, he's got bags of varying sizes, ready to be stuffed to the brim with fur. ]

Will they lean down for us? [ Cause if they're bigger than Chipp, and Nen's bigger than Kenta, then they're really big to the tiny husband. ]

[ Heck yeah Nen has brushes!! They fully intend to swap out with Kenta and give him a chance to pet the big bunnies as well, because what could be more important than Kenta with bunnies??

Donned on their hand currently is one of those strap-brushes that goes over one's hand so they can grip the rim and give the rabbit's side a few long strokes. ]

They would have to lean down quite a ways for us to reach their head...

[ Like. These are moose-sized buns, and even at 5'7" that's nothing by comparison. They'd have the be flat on the ground for Nen to reach their backs. ]

What if we asked them nicely? [ Something like: ] Can my big spouse pet your head? Please?

[ note: he has no magic to actually talk with this bunny. he's just cute. ]

[ He's adorable and perfect and honestly, after all the time they spend around Yuuto (who does not have the power to talk to plants or animals and does so anyway), this seems par for the course. The rabbit doesn't no more than blink and lift one hind leg to scratch behind its ear. Then it shakes itself up, rises up onto its hind legs...and settles.

Nen stares, fascinated. ]

...Was that a yes?

Maybe?? [ He looks between Nen and the rabbit, just as fascinated. ] Is that a "yes"?

BNUUY..

[ Rabbit doesn't move any further than that except to getting a better look at them, so.... Nen is going to take that as a yes, eyes sparkling as they reach up place a hand on its head.

Bunbun closes its eyes briefly, but-! It does not move. ]

[ Now, with that settled... He stands next to Nen, so he can also rest a hand on the rabbit’s head. ] It's even softer than it looks!

It is incredibly soft.

[ Nen cannot agree with Kenta more on this assessment. This rabbit? Is a fluffy mammalian cloud. And Nen loves it. ]

And docile. Even if its head moves a lot.

[ Because, you know. Even if it's giant, it's still a rabbit and they're rather timid creatures. Gotta be on alert!!

Nen strokes along the length of one of its ears, fascinated. ]

It is warm, too.
