drown your sorrows for the day, raise your glasses to life
WHO: Everyone involved in Saya's player plot, various +1s, honestly Chuuya isn't taking attendance so go wild
WHAT: Drinking party
WHEN: Evening after the De-Hibernation plot
WHERE: A bar in nightwake city
WARNINGS: Alcohol use, aftermath of this plot with likely mentions of murder. Grief processing/murder processing/etc.
[So: Today sucked. Things didn't go to plan, Saya had died, and many of them were all various degrees of injured. Suffice to say, the mood is quite low for everyone, Chuuya included.
The thing is? When shit is bad like this, there's only one thing to do, in Chuuya's mind. So he'll go from person to person to find whoever's lingering at the research center to offer an invite out and then, just in case he can't find everyone:]
So yeah, that was a bit of a shitshow. I don't know about anyone else, but I could use a drink or five. Anyone else feeling the same can meet up at this bar, all drinks on me, and I do mean all.
Pretty sure Saya would appreciate a drink in her name, at least.
[And there's a location included in the post: a bar not too far from the research center, big enough and casual enough people can go to drown their sorrows... or toast to Saya's (future) recovery. Chuuya's certainly not going to tell people how to feel right now, but he knows how bitter failure and loss can feel, and he also knows it's a little easier to swallow with good company and good drink.
Chuuya himself can be found at the bar counter, with a glass of wine and a cigarette. He'll leave the raising of any toasts to people who knew her more intimately, he's content to just bankroll the drinking and support people in mutual comfort tonight.]

Is there anything I can get for you?
[It can't be easy, even if Saya does come back in three days. He knows he'd be a mess if something like that were to happen to Yuri, so--]
no subject
[He wants her to be back already, and it hasn't even been that long.]
-Barring that, just your company is enough.

[Flynn falls silent, and quietly takes a sip of his juice from his bottle as he sighs and sets the bottle down after a moment.]
Whatever happens if you need me, I'll be here.
no subject
[Even if the help she needed was awful, that was still something Flynn did for her that Kantera could not.]
no subject
I also promised I would be here to help with anything you needed, but I would have done that without a promise. So, please don't hesitate if you need anything.

[He reaches over and touches the back of Kantera's shoulder.]
Maybe a few drinks and some sleep will help for now.
no subject
-Is anyone in need of healing, after that? I should...
no subject
Actually, my ribs are pretty hurt still. But, I took care of everyone else before my energy ran out, so if you wanted--
[Was he hurt that bad? No. But Kantera wanted something to do, so he would give him a chance to help.]
no subject
[Kantera sings softly, wordlessly, and a healing energy suffuses Flynn's body. Whatever aches and pains there were should disappear.]
no subject
[He does relax under that, and with the pain disappearing, Flynn lets out a breath and smiles at Kantera.]
Thank you, that feels much better.
no subject
[Since he's not intelligent enough to be much use in the research, nor strong enough to retrieve items from the segments, nor resilient enough to stop Saya from doing something she would regret.]
no subject
[He looks to Kantera and motions to his glass.]
Do you need another drink, or are you okay?
no subject
[He will never match Yuri or Chuuya, let alone Saya.]
no subject
[Flynn was sheepish as he reached out and gently touched Kantera's shoulder, squeezing gently. He didn't know what to say so this was his attempt at conveying what he couldn't say.]
I'll make sure you get home safe, so do what you need to.
no subject
[Would drinking himself into a stupor even help, at this point?]
