drown your sorrows for the day, raise your glasses to life
WHO: Everyone involved in Saya's player plot, various +1s, honestly Chuuya isn't taking attendance so go wild
WHAT: Drinking party
WHEN: Evening after the De-Hibernation plot
WHERE: A bar in nightwake city
WARNINGS: Alcohol use, aftermath of this plot with likely mentions of murder. Grief processing/murder processing/etc.
[So: Today sucked. Things didn't go to plan, Saya had died, and many of them were all various degrees of injured. Suffice to say, the mood is quite low for everyone, Chuuya included.
The thing is? When shit is bad like this, there's only one thing to do, in Chuuya's mind. So he'll go from person to person to find whoever's lingering at the research center to offer an invite out and then, just in case he can't find everyone:]
So yeah, that was a bit of a shitshow. I don't know about anyone else, but I could use a drink or five. Anyone else feeling the same can meet up at this bar, all drinks on me, and I do mean all.
Pretty sure Saya would appreciate a drink in her name, at least.
[And there's a location included in the post: a bar not too far from the research center, big enough and casual enough people can go to drown their sorrows... or toast to Saya's (future) recovery. Chuuya's certainly not going to tell people how to feel right now, but he knows how bitter failure and loss can feel, and he also knows it's a little easier to swallow with good company and good drink.
Chuuya himself can be found at the bar counter, with a glass of wine and a cigarette. He'll leave the raising of any toasts to people who knew her more intimately, he's content to just bankroll the drinking and support people in mutual comfort tonight.]

[There's no humor in the short huff of laugh Chuuya lets out as he orders from the bartender-- something strong.]
Yeah, I got patched up too. But you know as well as I do the injuries are the least of it.
[Soon enough, he's sliding that glass over to Yuri.] I ain't gonna make you talk about it if you don't want to, if that's your concern.
[Chuuya's way of handling things like this is not... necessarily the healthiest, but he was a criminal. They didn't do talk and cry very well in the Port Mafia.] What I'm gonna do is give you enough alcohol to get smashed as you please, and whatever else you need to get by right now, whether that's distractions or otherwise.

She'll be back in three days.
[ Sort of... muted. He's been saying that particular thing kind of a lot. The words are starting to just sound like meaningless noise to his own ears. ]

[Thanks to you is unsaid, but clearly meant.
Maybe it's cold of him, to be able to keep a level head at a time like this. But he didn't have the history with Saya the rest of them did, and someone needed to be.... at least somewhat level headed, right now.
Goodness knows he's lost his shit more than a few times over stuff like this.]

I know she will.
[ —slowly, like the words are being pulled out of him, ]
And I know you're trying. It's nice of you.
