[ he doesn't fight to free his hands, instead leaving them captured as he stares back at alhaitham. ] Alright, fine, I can admit when I've gone overboard. [ can he though? ] Do you want me to stop? [ he smirks, his eyes dipping to his chest before returning to him. he thinks you liked it, a lot. ]

[ Kaveh is terrible at admitting his limits, just look at his drinking habits- ]

[ He gives a sharp exhale, a near huff at Kaveh's blatant interest that he vaguely wonders how he's been managing to keep his apparent high interest in Alhaitham's chest a secret at all. Or perhaps the increased effects of touching had permanently released some of his inhibitions. ]

[ That may warrant future testing. ]

[ For now, he's fixing his gaze on the other man, my eyes are up here Kaveh. Whether he liked it or not (he did a bit) wasn't up for debate. ]

I believe we agreed that you don't get to start until you've earned this reward.

[ if nothing else this is the one thing that kaveh managed to be completely careful about. he couldn’t afford to spoil a good thing because of some… ridiculous feelings. here, however, Pandora’s Box has been opened… and because there’s less at stake ( at least immediately ) he can throw caution to the wind. ]

You did this the last time, Alhaitham, …you’re dodging the question. Answer it.

[ While Kaveh's thrown caution to the wind, Alhaitham continues to consider their situation with the same caution he would have if they were back home. ]

[ Which is why his answer may be surprising, given the smirk he gives to accompany it. ]

Right now, yes.

When you've claimed your reward rightfully, I won't stop you then.

[ he should have known he would just throw the answer in his face like it didn't mean anything. kaveh tugs his hands free, looping them around his neck, so he can give alhaitham a kiss. he slips out of his lap after that. ] How long do you want me to try and avoid drinks?

[ ... Kaveh are you just going to start randomly kissing Alhaitham now? Or is this a snatch for energy? Either way, Alhaitham simply raises a brow at the action, but doesn't stop or protest otherwise. ]

Why not start with a simple month?

Two weeks. [ he slides out of his lap and into the seat beside him, stretching out on the couch ( and partially over alhaitham ) as he reaches for his sketch book. ] If you're going to read, then I may as well try to get some work done too.

[ Looking pointedly at the parts of Kaveh splayed on him for a moment before sighing. ]
