WHO: Gabi Braun AND YOU!!!!
WHAT: Gabi arrives! And promptly realizes she has no idea what the heck is going on!!
WHEN: Early May
WHERE: Mostly Nightwake, a little Amberfall
WARNINGS: Will add as needed!
[01 - Research Center, Nightwake]
[Gabi is at the Research Center shortly after her arrival, where she's just kind of absorbing everything. She has a still-wrapped newspaper in her hand and this is all kind of a lot to be throwing at someone at 7:00 in the morning.]
....I understand completely!
[Oh, apparently, she's handling it well, though.]
Obviously, because of my experience defying the odds and saving the world, I was requested to come help this world as well. [She pats herself on the chest a couple times.] I assume I was one of the very first people to be asked, of course. Well, if the circumstances are as dire as they say, then I'll gladly help, of course! I wouldn't be the cutest, smartest hero in the world if I didn't!
[Okay, so maybe she doesn't actually understand it that well. At least she's got the right mindset?]
[02 - Around Nightwake]
Wwwhoooooooooa.
[Gabi is just gawking at the sights of Nightwake, the skyscrapers, the cars, all of the tech unfolding in front of her as she walks around.]
Okay, this is a little different than I expected. But! It's fine, I just have to try and play it cool, don't act like I've never seen technology before like some kind of bumpkin from a backwards world with nothing in it... [She laughs and shrugs.] I mean, it's not like I've never seen big buildings or cars before----WHAAAA, THAT BUS IS FLYING!
[She's yelling and pointing at an air bus as it flies by, stops, lets people off, lets people on and flies away. She's pointing at it, a stunned expression on her face, the entire time.]
--wait! Maybe....! [She fishes into the pockets of her dress. She pulls out the smartphone she got from the research center.] Maybe this thing can tell me what that bus is...! [She tentatively pokes the phone. It beeps.] WHAA!
[She drops it and turns away from it like she's afraid it's gonna explode. After a few seconds, she blinks and looks at it on the ground in front of her. At least she didn't break it?]
[03 - Gacha Restaurant, Nightwake]
[Gabi is literally...pressed up against the window of the Gacha Restaraunt, staring into it. She's going back and forth between murmuring to herself and counting on her fingers.]
They said I get five meals...so if I do pizza...then a sandwich...then fish, then pastry...
I bet if I get them all at once, it increases my chances of getting the 5-star meal, too!
[She appears to be planning how to spend her five meals as quickly as humanly possible. Is she trying to intentionally introduce a food coma? There's no way of knowing for sure.]
[04 - Amberfall, Autumn Guild]
Almighty Frog?!
[Gabi has found her way to one of the guilds and is currently staring at the questboard.]
That sounds like one powerful frog...maybe I should start with something a little simpler...I've pulled weeds before, maybe I should clean up the clocktower...or go get this syrup.
[She blinks a couple times as she looks at the variety of quests. She squints at the board for a few moments. Then she reaches out and grabs the arm of an innocent passerby. As it turns out, that arm belongs to you.]

But I've never heard of "Moon Coins" before. Is that just what their money is here...?
[She rubs her hand under her chin.]
I guess if I wanna keep eating at all the nicest places, I'm gonna have to do quests, then...
...oh yeah, and help protect the citizens of Nightwake. [She clears her throat.] That too.

[ It being "digital" is the weirder part, honestly. He still wants to find a way to get physical money, relying on technology that much just seems unsustainable. ]
They pay well enough, at least.
[ ...if you take the big, potentially dangerous quests, that is. But hey, he's managed to beat up some measly burglars and score 500 out of it, so he's not too concerned about making ends meet. ]
