WHO: Yuri, Saya, Kantera, Venti, Lumine, and YOU!
WHAT: A fundraiser for office space for Yuri's up-and-coming guild, Brave Vesperia Ellipsa.
WHEN: Late April.
WHERE: Blossomcrown, a karaoke bar rented out for the occasion.
WARNINGS: Cheesecakey fun. Potentially alcohol consumption. All maids offering black menu services will be linking to an additional top-level off comm ♥
[ When you head to the location of Yuri's GPS ping from yesterday's network post, you'll find a rented-out little karaoke bar with MAID FOR YOU written on a handmade banner that is temporarily covering the bar's normal name, decorated in pink and black on the inside, with a lot of cute little two-chair tables taking up most of the floor space. There are rooms in the back that would normally be for singing karaoke in private, and singing with a maid is indeed one of the things you can do with those rooms today!
The real draw, though, is all of the very cute folks dressed as maids and/or butlers today, who will — for a small fee — wait on you personally. ♥
Take a menu, select a maid, and place your orders... or just ask Yuri what all the commotion's about, he'll be happy to explain! ]
((ooc: Maid cafe fundraiser! Don't worry too much about the coins your character is spending here, nothing is too expensive (though the black menu items are at a premium), we're all just here for the CR.
PLEASE NOTE: Yuri does feel personally responsible for the safety and comfort of all the Official Maids who are trying to help him raise funds here, so he will be actively trying to curb anyone bullying their friends into signing up, and he really doesn't want anyone working for him to be wearing or doing anything that makes them uncomfortable. Adult characters who only want to wear pink ribbons? Characters who want a full coverage maid outfit, or who want to be butlers instead? Excellent exercising of your boundaries, Yuri loves that for you.
You can, however, definitely pay for the "dress up as maid or butler" menu item and use that to bully your friends to your hearts' content. 😉))

I'm going to have to pass on the special reservation. Honestly, I don't usually go to maid cafés.
[A shocking revelation. Surely Rosen couldn't have guessed that...
Hijikata pulls him in by the cravat - slowly, not sharply - to get him close enough for a murmur.]
You don't fit in here, you know? The customers are probably intimidated. They probably think you're more expensive than the other butlers. I think you'd attract more interest at some fancy night club that at a one-day pop-up maid café.
[The maid café is serving its purpose - it's clearly generating a nice amount of revenue - but Rosen's vibes are simply not in tune.]

Really? [He questions with a hint of surprise in his tone.] That's a rather good idea! I didn't even consider it before.
[Note to self: look for a job at a local bar/nightclub around here. Hell, even a hostess bar for work for someone like him.. Rosen certainly has more than enough charm to be a decent host. He's rather fun to be around despite his threatening disposition.]
That's the thing, I am expensive.
[He states with such a mischievous smirk.]

[While he sincerely meant what he said about Rosen being more suited for a different type of establishment he's still acutely aware of how fast the current situation could flip back into something compromising, so he takes what he sees as an opportunity to slither out of it.]
I'd better pay my bill, then, before I end up bankrupting myself.
[And he doesn't say it, but Rosen better not expect him to turn up at whatever bar or club he may end up working at, because he doesn't usually visit those either. He prefers to drink at simple little snack bars without much in terms of ambience, and the only few times he ended up at a host club back home it was due to his annoying friends' shenanigans.]

[His tone suddenly switches from friendly to positively frigid as he looks down at Hijikata with something akin to disgust. It seems that his sense of decorum has gone out the window. While he still looks as regal and handsome as ever, Rosen looks almost murderous now. It’s a little worrisome, especially since he could honestly crush Hijikata’s throat with his barehands if he wanted.]
You’re buying me a drink after this fucking stunt you pulled.
[It doesn’t seem like he’ll be taking “No” as an answer, either. Just look at that murderous glare. He’s staring at Hijikata like a hawk, his mismatched gaze focused squarely on him. While did let Hijikata have his fun earlier, it’s clear who’s the real master here.]

[Sorry, but he has to ask! Are the maids and butlers supposed to indulge in their own menu? Or does Rosen want a drink elsewhere later? Probably the former, given that he made his demand in response to Hijikata trying to prepare his exit, but that's so against protocol! (It seems that he hasn't yet fully caught up to protocol having gone out of the window, but look, at least he's cowed enough to not say anything cocky again!)]
