WHO: Yuri, Saya, Kantera, Venti, Lumine, and YOU!
WHAT: A fundraiser for office space for Yuri's up-and-coming guild, Brave Vesperia Ellipsa.
WHEN: Late April.
WHERE: Blossomcrown, a karaoke bar rented out for the occasion.
WARNINGS: Cheesecakey fun. Potentially alcohol consumption. All maids offering black menu services will be linking to an additional top-level off comm ♥
[ When you head to the location of Yuri's GPS ping from yesterday's network post, you'll find a rented-out little karaoke bar with MAID FOR YOU written on a handmade banner that is temporarily covering the bar's normal name, decorated in pink and black on the inside, with a lot of cute little two-chair tables taking up most of the floor space. There are rooms in the back that would normally be for singing karaoke in private, and singing with a maid is indeed one of the things you can do with those rooms today!
The real draw, though, is all of the very cute folks dressed as maids and/or butlers today, who will — for a small fee — wait on you personally. ♥
Take a menu, select a maid, and place your orders... or just ask Yuri what all the commotion's about, he'll be happy to explain! ]
((ooc: Maid cafe fundraiser! Don't worry too much about the coins your character is spending here, nothing is too expensive (though the black menu items are at a premium), we're all just here for the CR.
PLEASE NOTE: Yuri does feel personally responsible for the safety and comfort of all the Official Maids who are trying to help him raise funds here, so he will be actively trying to curb anyone bullying their friends into signing up, and he really doesn't want anyone working for him to be wearing or doing anything that makes them uncomfortable. Adult characters who only want to wear pink ribbons? Characters who want a full coverage maid outfit, or who want to be butlers instead? Excellent exercising of your boundaries, Yuri loves that for you.
You can, however, definitely pay for the "dress up as maid or butler" menu item and use that to bully your friends to your hearts' content. 😉))

[ said with a bow and just as he was going to walk off to fetch the omurice for yoimiya, she catches him off-guard and he stops mid-way in his step.
oh. hmm. he'd have a hard time saying that this is exactly a dastardly plan but it certainly threw a wrench into things. ...for him anyway. ]
A break? No, not yet but... [ his voices trails as he considers his options and what is the "best" thing that he should be doing here. somehow this was not in the cards that he was expected to deal with but it should be fine, shouldn't it? ] If we are to split something, then I'd have to insist that you are the one who should get the lion's share. It wouldn't be right if I were to eat most of your meal.

[ Yoimiya can't help but chuckle a little as she notices Sabo suddenly stopping mid-step. Was it that surprising? It's funny to think about. ]
Oh, yeah! We'll need drinks too. Can you also get me an order of matcha tea and your favorite drink from the menu? Consider it my treat for the hard working butler.

[ it really is surprising and he will have a moment to look a slightly bashful for her invitation to eat as much as he would like. oh, the fool's choice that is. so, he'll just politely wave shake his head but still be overall amused.

But it's as you wish. I'll be right back with some matcha tea and a coffee with some rose syrup.
[ with that, he'll take his leave proper and be gone for a little bit as he fetches everything that yoimiya has requested and something for himself. when comes back he'll have the drinks and omurice neatly arranged and carefully balanced on a rather fancy-ish serving tray. of which, he'll start with placing the kitty omurice in front of her following the appropriate cutlery. ]

[ Her heart is full just staring at it but soon her belly will be as well! She almost feels bad devouring such an precious looking dish. ]

[ sabo's smile doesn't fade or slip for a moment but he does lower his head for a moment and give it a shake. yoimiya is really too kind. anyone else would have laughed at what he did, or maybe it said more about the kind of people that he familiarized himself with. ...probably the latter, honestly. nevertheless, sabo soldiers on with a slightly bashful smile. ]
I did, and you're much too kind. I'm well aware of how clumsy it looks, but drawing with ketchup is not something I've had a lot of practice with. [ carefully placing a fancy looking tea cup next to her before setting down a small dish with sugar cubes and several small cups filled with various syrups. ] Your matcha tea.

[ It almost feels a little bad to cut into such an adorable treat but it would be an insult to chef Yuri to not eat it. Without further delay, she cuts into the dish with her spoon and takes a bite, her honey irises sparkling and shimmering from the mouth watering flavor hitting her tastebuds. It's so good! ]
Mmm, yummy! I can see why you are partial to the omurice. It came out delicious.

[ truly who knows what goes on in her head and perhaps sabo shouldn't encourage such thoughts but that wouldn't be very fun. even if he wasn't playing butler for her in the present, neither his words or attitude would be much different. and while she takes her first bite, sabo will debate if he should join her at the table but ultimately decides to keep standing by her a bit longer as she praises the dish. ]
You're very welcomed. If only I could take credit for it, but I'm still happy that you approved of my choice. [ his expression will soften momentarily. ] There's something nostalgic about omurice for me. It's not a meal that I had much when I was a kid but, it feels like it could have been.
