WHO: Yuri, Saya, Kantera, Venti, Lumine, and YOU!
WHAT: A fundraiser for office space for Yuri's up-and-coming guild, Brave Vesperia Ellipsa.
WHEN: Late April.
WHERE: Blossomcrown, a karaoke bar rented out for the occasion.
WARNINGS: Cheesecakey fun. Potentially alcohol consumption. All maids offering black menu services will be linking to an additional top-level off comm ♥
[ When you head to the location of Yuri's GPS ping from yesterday's network post, you'll find a rented-out little karaoke bar with MAID FOR YOU written on a handmade banner that is temporarily covering the bar's normal name, decorated in pink and black on the inside, with a lot of cute little two-chair tables taking up most of the floor space. There are rooms in the back that would normally be for singing karaoke in private, and singing with a maid is indeed one of the things you can do with those rooms today!
The real draw, though, is all of the very cute folks dressed as maids and/or butlers today, who will — for a small fee — wait on you personally. ♥
Take a menu, select a maid, and place your orders... or just ask Yuri what all the commotion's about, he'll be happy to explain! ]
((ooc: Maid cafe fundraiser! Don't worry too much about the coins your character is spending here, nothing is too expensive (though the black menu items are at a premium), we're all just here for the CR.
PLEASE NOTE: Yuri does feel personally responsible for the safety and comfort of all the Official Maids who are trying to help him raise funds here, so he will be actively trying to curb anyone bullying their friends into signing up, and he really doesn't want anyone working for him to be wearing or doing anything that makes them uncomfortable. Adult characters who only want to wear pink ribbons? Characters who want a full coverage maid outfit, or who want to be butlers instead? Excellent exercising of your boundaries, Yuri loves that for you.
You can, however, definitely pay for the "dress up as maid or butler" menu item and use that to bully your friends to your hearts' content. 😉))

[ It's an understatement, really. His world was hell and he knows it, but it's not like he came here to get all grim about home (just kidding, he's always grim about home; he can't help it).
He shoves that down, though, and listens to Yuri's explanation. To his credit, he doesn't go back to staring at the whole skirt thing, though he's turned it over in his mind, trying to figure out if it's rude to ask about if guys wearing skirts is the norm or something. He does retain some semblance of manners in all of his crazy nonsense, and doesn't want to be completely weird at Yuri right off the bat. Probably too late for that.
He looks back at the menu again, really looking at it, the pink and black options that he'd mostly just been ???? about before.
He's not going to pay someone to kiss him, that's too out there in his head, but… ]
If that's how it works, I guess…pink. Just talk is fine. Though I don't really wanna turn to stone, so if you're up for…

Well, Eren, I'm Yuri. And this one's on the house. [ A tiny bit impish. ] It'd be pretty bad for business if people started turning to stone in here.

His eyes catch that slip of skirt. He's a strange, fucked up person, but he has eyes and Yuri has his full attention. That's one way to keep him here and now instead of off in his insane nonlinear memories for the moment!
He reaches out and takes Yuri's hand. His own hand is almost too smooth, no scars, no calluses, nothing like that, a side-effect of his body healing every single injury he's ever had. ]

[ His mouth twitches but he doesn't smile. He has a hard time expressing much of anything; work in progress. ]

This place is a real breath of fresh air, I can tell you that much. If I've gotta choose between 'temporarily turn to stone if you don't touch people' and 'lose your mind and eventually disappear if you don't wear the right clothes and sleep in the right dorm room', I'm gonna take the stone.

What? That sounds like bullshit.
[ He believes what Yuri says, he's just appalled by it. It sounds like oppression to him. Wear the right clothes. Do the right thing. Be how we tell you to be. Eren's whole thing is freedom, after all, and that isn't freedom. He hates the idea immediately. ]
The last world I was in was weird. Dangerous, sometimes. But nothing like that.
