[ When you head to the location of Yuri's GPS ping from yesterday's network post, you'll find a rented-out little karaoke bar with MAID FOR YOU written on a handmade banner that is temporarily covering the bar's normal name, decorated in pink and black on the inside, with a lot of cute little two-chair tables taking up most of the floor space. There are rooms in the back that would normally be for singing karaoke in private, and singing with a maid is indeed one of the things you can do with those rooms today!

The real draw, though, is all of the very cute folks dressed as maids and/or butlers today, who will — for a small fee — wait on you personally. ♥

Take a menu, select a maid, and place your orders... or just ask Yuri what all the commotion's about, he'll be happy to explain! ]


((ooc: Maid cafe fundraiser! Don't worry too much about the coins your character is spending here, nothing is too expensive (though the black menu items are at a premium), we're all just here for the CR.

PLEASE NOTE: Yuri does feel personally responsible for the safety and comfort of all the Official Maids who are trying to help him raise funds here, so he will be actively trying to curb anyone bullying their friends into signing up, and he really doesn't want anyone working for him to be wearing or doing anything that makes them uncomfortable. Adult characters who only want to wear pink ribbons? Characters who want a full coverage maid outfit, or who want to be butlers instead? Excellent exercising of your boundaries, Yuri loves that for you.

You can, however, definitely pay for the "dress up as maid or butler" menu item and use that to bully your friends to your hearts' content. 😉))

I've only really tried mocha so far, simply because despite saying I'd be interested in more, I can't seem to stop myself from going back to tea. { it's said with amusement in his voice, a hint of a laugh under the surface. } So while I've already tasted some of the tea options here, coffee may be good to try next.

Though, that would rather depend on the game. Was there one you had in mind?

Well, there's Truth or Dare — I've also played Would You Rather and Never Have I Ever.

It seems as though Truth or Dare may require more than conversation, so let's leave that one. The other two, however, could potentially work. I assume you just give the other person a choice to choose between for Would You Rather? As for Never Have I Ever, a simple response of yes or no?

I mean, it's just you and me, we'd be in full control of the dares, but sure.

Yeah. The goal for Would You Rather is to come up with options where it's really hard to choose, because you're not allowed to say 'both' or 'neither'.

Never Have I Ever is different, though, and usually played in bigger groups. You're supposed to come up with things you haven't done that you think most people have, because everyone who's done it is supposed to take a drink.

That does make sense, though I fear I would have much less experience to think of anything suitable.

As for the others, I wouldn't mind either? I'm aware you're working, and I assume you mean alcoholic when you say take a drink, so I'll leave the choice to you.

Anyway. If I'm picking, Never Have I Ever. They're all fun, but I think Would You Rather is more fun the better you know someone — and Never Have I Ever is great for getting to that point.

It does seem to lose some of the interest without that aspect. But very well, we can do that then. Is there a particular alcoholic drink you'd use for a game like this, or would any do?

Honestly? For drinking games, I've never done anything but cheap beer. Kind of a waste of an appletini if you're only taking sips of it when you mess up.

[ And luckily they're in a repurposed bar, so regular alcohol's still available, if Ayato doesn't feel like wasting an alcohol infused tea or coffee. ]

Ah, well. This is rather new as well. As I said before, however, I'm willing to try it. Coffee is a little more bitter than I'm used to, mind you. { perhaps the best way is- } Is there a type that makes it taste a little sweeter?

The liqueur is sweet, yeah. [ Actually all liqueurs are apparently but Yuri didn't google before replying, unlike his player. ] Sweetest option would probably be a milk tea.
