[ When you head to the location of Yuri's GPS ping from yesterday's network post, you'll find a rented-out little karaoke bar with MAID FOR YOU written on a handmade banner that is temporarily covering the bar's normal name, decorated in pink and black on the inside, with a lot of cute little two-chair tables taking up most of the floor space. There are rooms in the back that would normally be for singing karaoke in private, and singing with a maid is indeed one of the things you can do with those rooms today!

The real draw, though, is all of the very cute folks dressed as maids and/or butlers today, who will — for a small fee — wait on you personally. ♥

Take a menu, select a maid, and place your orders... or just ask Yuri what all the commotion's about, he'll be happy to explain! ]


((ooc: Maid cafe fundraiser! Don't worry too much about the coins your character is spending here, nothing is too expensive (though the black menu items are at a premium), we're all just here for the CR.

PLEASE NOTE: Yuri does feel personally responsible for the safety and comfort of all the Official Maids who are trying to help him raise funds here, so he will be actively trying to curb anyone bullying their friends into signing up, and he really doesn't want anyone working for him to be wearing or doing anything that makes them uncomfortable. Adult characters who only want to wear pink ribbons? Characters who want a full coverage maid outfit, or who want to be butlers instead? Excellent exercising of your boundaries, Yuri loves that for you.

You can, however, definitely pay for the "dress up as maid or butler" menu item and use that to bully your friends to your hearts' content. 😉))

[Zhongli appraises Rosen, his eyes scanning up and down approvingly at that clothing.]

A good spear arm and excellent taste in clothing? Hmmm, a few more coincidences and I might think you aim to emulate me.

[He smiles. That was his version of a joke, not that most people could tell.]

Some lavender tea would be a lovely start, I think. And what do you recommend among the desserts?

[A humored smirk curls onto his lips once he catches Zhongli’s gaze. Yes, Rosen cleans up nicely, doesn’t he? He knows. While he might seem like your typical brute, Rosen knows a thing or two about fashion. Or rather he knows others who will give their most honest opinions about his clothing, one such person being Saya. Nevertheless, he’s quite flattered.]

Considering how flawlessly handsome you are, I’ll take that as a compliment.

[He states with a playful wink before glancing down the menu briefly. What would go well with lavender tea? Certainly not a scone or anything hearty like that. Maybe something with a hint of a sweetness to it? Maybe a floral taste, even? Rosen lets out a thoughtful hum.]

When it comes down to lavender tea, you want something that complements it well. I would suggest anything that has a hint of fruit in it such as a pink strawberry custard served over a school cake with sprinkles or maybe a blueberry cobbler.

[Oh wow... Zhongli can't help but blush a little at the compliment. Even if he has chosen his body, sculpted it to be exactly the aesthetic he prefers, he never expects anyone to make note of it.]

[Good(?) news? Zhongli has never made a good financial decision with his own money! He's definitely not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination, but surely he can afford to treat himself!

... Rosen has found himself an excellent mark.]

Mmmh, yes... Something sweet, but not overly so would be excellent. Perhaps the strawberry custard and cake, although if there is a more plain one without sprinkles, I would prefer that. If that is not possible though, I am content to try it with the sprinkles.

[A smirk curls onto his lips now that he managed to bait Zhongli into purchasing a treat. It seems that Mr. Tall, Dark & Handsome really liked that compliment too. He files that away for later, especially since he means to explore it further. For now, he’ll settle for fetching a plain school cake for his lovely client. Yuri and the gang fortunately had the wherewithal to make a few plain ones without sprinkles earlier in the day. So this works out well.]

Of course, we have plenty of little cakes without sprinkles. Just give one moment—

[Rosen wanders off quickly towards the back rooms in search of the kitchen. They have a wide array of premade pastries ready to be carted off, some of which are still warm from the oven. As for the tea, he’s brewing it himself. Lavender tea isn’t hard to make but it’s easy to burn if you’re not careful. He adds 4 tsps of lavender buds to the tea bag before submerging it within the boiled water. A couple of minutes go by and it's ready to serve. He pours the tea into an ornate flowery tea cup before snatching one of those delicious pastries nearby.]

Here we go.

[He returns carrying a silver tray with a beautiful white and gold teacup with a matching saucer and a golden spoon for Zhongli to enjoy. The school cake is plain with a hint of white frosting smothered with the cheerfully pink custard on the top. As for the tea, it arrives plain as well with a small little dish filled with sugar cubes. No milk will be provided unless asked.]

I certainly hope you’ll enjoy it.
