[Creatures in Teyvat are unique and varying to many degrees but never in his life has Xingqiu seen giant butterflies before. It's a beautiful sight to see the huge multi-colored insects fly about in the sky like painted specks on a canvas. He's a bit in awe and he marvels at them even if a part of him might still be unsure by the idea of touching them. They're bugs, after all.]

What a marvelous sight to see...

[He smiles although it's slightly pressed. Only relaxing to something more genuine when he regards Ayaka.]

Are you seeking to collect some cherry blossoms of your own today? May I suggest we work together?

[ The giant butterflies truly are a sight to behold! Ayaka finds herself in awe of them, and somehow? It's amusing that she also has butterfly hairclips at a time like this...

Hopefully these butterflies won't mistake her as one of them! ]

Yes, it seems we have the same objective. [ Which is convenient! ] I'm a little scared to ride the butterfly on my own... We would not hurt it if we both rode it, right?

[Xingqiu considers quietly and then nods with a smile.]

It might be safer if we do share a ride. That way, we could watch out for each other should anything go awry.

[It would be bad news if one of them fell off and the other was too far away to catch them (do they have gliders idk). Xingqiu gives a chivalrous bow.]

Would you like to pick which butterfly we shall ride today?

[ Pick a butterfly, hm? They're all so beautiful, Ayaka can't possibly pick just one! So for a moment, Ayaka looks up at the various butterflies fluttering about. ]

I'll choose... [ Whoever approaches her first!

She raises a hand slowly, palm facing upwards as if calling for the attention of the butterflies. Many continue minding their own business, but there are a couple who find themselves looking at Ayaka moving around. Maybe she looks like a flower to them? Who knows.

It is a green and black one that makes its way to the two first, flapping its wings and blowing the wind at them for a moment as it hovers closeby. ]

I think it likes us. [ A beat. ] Shall we?

[feiyun]

[Xingqiu will wait patiently as the butterflies seem to pick them. He has his hands behind his back as he watches with a bit of innocent awe as well. He is thinking it might be alright to touch an insect if it is one as large and majestic as these ones...

He nods.] We shall.

[The butterfly descends down slowly with gently flapping green and black wings. It flutters for a moment which kicks up some wind before it lands. Long antenna wiggle and insect legs grip the ground which unsettles Xingqiu slightly but he steels himself. He holds his hand out to help Ayaka mount the bug.]

Allow me to help you.

Oh- [ What a gentleman! With a nod, she takes the offered hand so she can get on the butterfly's back. ] Thank you.

[ She's not quite sure how to position herself on here, though. She can't exactly sit, so she has to hold onto the butterfly tightly! ]

I'm getting nervous. [ But it's a good kind of nervous, even if her voice seems shaky! ] The butterfly seems to be very gentle, at least.

[ So they prrroobably won't fall? ]

[He will always value chivalry!

Xingqiu will also join her on the butterfly and make sure to carefully board the butterfly without hurting it if he can. It's a bit awkward but how does one expertly ride a butterfly anyway??]

I must confess that I'm feeling a bit cautious as well. However, the butterfly seems to be quite confident in its actions. Perhaps it knows what it's doing?

[And just like that those large powerful butterfly wings will start to flap. Somehow it's able to carry their weight (probably helps that they're both so light) and it starts to lift into the air! Xingqiu is a bit startled!]

[ Ayaka's planting her hand on the back of the butterfly as firmly as possible, just as startled as her companion. She tries to reach for him to hold onto him as well, because she might feel better knowing there's someone else on this ride with her. ]

We're- We're flying!
