welcome home
Who: Venti, Yuri, Saya, Lumine, and Kantera
What: A moment of respite
When: March 4th
Where: A house at the far edge of Blossomcrown
Warnings: Probably mentions of previous game trauma/violence
[ Venti has always been the type who wanders to the beat of his own drum, dipping in and out of people's lives as easily as the blowing wind. But Tokyo-F . . . changed things, somewhat.
Though his initial instinct had been to sleep under a tree and call it "home," an invitation to live with old friends put a halt to those plans. For starters, it would be protection from the unpredictable weather in the segments. For another, maybe he did get used to having a bed and a room to call "home," in no small part because of the teammates and friends who inhabited it with him. Now that solitary tree feels . . . lonely, in a way it didn't before.
And so here he is, standing at the threshold of a house full of people he loves and trusts, who asked him to stay . . . it makes him feel his age, but not in a bad way, for once. Nor does he feel that nagging urge to disappear into the wind.
Should he catch anyone watching him, the pensive expression dissolves into a smile. ]
Hehe, is this the part where we fight over bedrooms?

Little old me? Perhaps I'm just the bird who lives in the eaves! Or maaaybe . . .
[ Leaning in with a wink ]
I'm just following you everywhere you go~?

[He teases before reaching over to pat the little bard's head. Venti is adorable little menace but a menace nonetheless. Truth be told, he doesn't know what to do with him. Rosen isn't used to something so tiny trying to pester him like this.
It goes without saying that he could toss Venti around like ragdoll.]
So quit while you're ahead, shall we? Besides, aren't you a "god"?
[Show some decorum, Barbatos--or whatever his name is!]
I didn't forget our little conversation.

Me? A god? Hehe, did you think so highly of my performance, then? I'm flattered!

[Rosen lets out an annoyed sigh as he gives this little gremlin a second glance. Venti is a cutie, that much is certain. Beautiful, even. However, even the most beautiful rose has thorns and Venti’s torns are a little sharp. Not sharp enough to draw blood but still sharp enough to make poor Rosen get all tongue-tied.
It’s annoying, honestly. He prides himself in being a smooth talker and all. Yet around Venti, he’s any but smooth. It’s like his brain goes to mush whenever he’s around the little bard. It's frustrating.]
If you want to pretend you didn’t spill the metaphorical beans while you was drunk, then be my guess.
[It’s not like he’ll tell anyone. Hell, he doesn’t quite believe Venti is a god.]
Are you going to let me in, you spoony bard? Or do I have to beg?
[Oh no! Don't give him any ideas!]
