I COULD REPEAT EVERYTHING, THAT I WROTE ON THE GIRL RETURNS FROM CANON UPDATE TL... I WON'T BUT PRETEND IT'S HERE TOO, especially the part about her not having any idea how long she's been away from Ellipsa.

Who knew that one of the most beautiful love songs ever could almost destroy the world? Or at least be the end of humans? Or whatever else was about to happen there...

. . . They did, Rumi and Jinu, they figured it out as soon as they accidentally "unlocked" / sung it here many months ago because it'd obviosly be why things go to hell back home. Of course she told that to Zoey and Mira too after returning from that staycation with Jinu.

She's so, so fucking s t u p i d for leaving Jinu all alone after singing that with him back home. Well, she's stupid for so many reasons there — not sharing her secrets with the girls herself about her heritage and patterns, or about her secret meetings and plans with Jinu either, NOT ASKING FOR HELP and just trying to do everything all alone. Ohh and especially for listening to Celine for all of her life.

If anyone even dares to think, that she'd blame Jinu for anything? Clearly they missed the memory sharing moment on Paths, where she got to know how her conversation with Celine goes back home.

"I thought I could fix it all. Fix me. But I ran out of time."

Of course Rumi only blames herself. Well, maybe she also blames Celine, or at least she really should blame her, but she really doesn't want to think about her right now. That really was the worst betrayal! She doesn't even consider Jinu's actions as betrayal when that fucking stupid coward asshole Gwi-ma had everything to do with that.

She has known about what happens to Jinu ever since Zoey and (first) Mira arrived here, it's why she ended up together with so fast right after that. No wasting time to stupid things like denial, not here where they can have the most amazing together instead of doing that. She knows how demons die, obviously, she has killed so many of them, that she has lost count forever ago when she's been both a demon hunter and an idol ever since she was born. She just didn't have all the details of how the whole thing with Jinu dying to save her happens until now.

Rumi has been crying so much back home, that she didn't even know she can cry even more at this point! But obviously suddenly returning here where she can still see Jinu and be with him means she's instantly becoming an emotional mess, where she's happiest, so, so relieved, saddest, heartbroken and going through all the emotions at the same time. Getting all of their memories of their time here back into her mind as if they were never even gone from there helps with that too. She's actually glad that she didn't remember their time in this world back in their home world, that would have made all of the pain so much worse there.

He's still here. Right? Right?! Please, please, please, please let that answer be yes. Though if her Jinu ever disappeared permanently from Ellipsa, she'd — want to disappear too but she'd also want to be right here waiting for his possible return and she'd be absolutely terrified of any other Jinu arriving here because while that'd be amazing, it wouldn't be the same thing at all. Not with all of their memories here together.]

[She's not sure what she would have even said but she doesn't need to say anything because Rumi sees Jinu waiting for her return there, they both start closing any distance between them instantly and she rushes in for the tightest embrace ever and maybe also some kisses, as messy and wet as they'll be with what an emotional mess she is right now. Not that they'll care about that. She's crying her eyes out, once again, absoulytely no one is surprised about that either. She missed him SO MUCH even without all of their memories from Ellipsa. And yes, it really is like she can finally breathe here again now when she gets her reunion with him instead of how she has both good and bad days back home about everything that happened to him there.]

Pop Queen's Acoustic World Tour

[She should do this or something similar with piano / keyboard more often... Or she could do this without instruments too. Either way, this time she can be found indoors or outdoors anywhere in the city or in the districts, playing one of her many acoustic guitars and singing some pop songs. Whenever it's not too cold, she's wearing this Sylveon themed outfit (thanks pokemon fashion show) and sometimes even matching accessories to it, other times she just matches her clothes with each district's seasonal theme.

ANYWAY, she's there to sing two k-pop songs; Dream Us & Until The End from a k-drama called Castaway Diva and also her version of I'll Stand By You cover by Carrie Underwood.

Sometimes her female Pikachu is dancing somewhere near her through all of them, other times she's napping anywhere near her with a giant blue tiger.

Of course, there's the whole rain season happening right now too almost everywhere, so sometimes she must stop or find some way to cover her guitar from the rain or maybe she'll just continue despite the rain... And other times she's already playing either indoors or outdoors so that the rain can't reach her.

Either way, she bows and smiles after she's done singing whether it's because the songs are over or because the rain surprises her.]

[She was just on her way back home after running the kissing booth while it was raining, and ahe stopped to watch once she heard Rumi play.]

[Rumi doesn't actually want to go home from Ellipsa. Not really. At least not permanently, she loves her life here, she loves being with Jinu here where they can actually be together and they're never running out of time together here. She wants to stay here with Jinu. For... Forever. Yes, she seriously really means that unless -- or more like until -- she'll get him back in their home world too because she's extremely determined to do that.

But it's complicated because she also wants at least some of the answers to things, that happen back home. She wants to know, she wants to actually experience the things herself too to be on the same page with the girls and for other reasons too but -- If she could choose, she'd probably leave it to that point in What It Sounds Like when everything's still mostly fine. When he's still fine and he's still alive. Too bad she doesn't get to choose any of this. Not the timing, not the amount of memories she'll get or anything else.

She disappears from Ellipsa around noon-ish on Wednesday (5/6) and she returns 2 days / 48 hours later on Friday (5/8).

Rumi has no idea how long she's been away from Ellipsa when she suddenly finds herself from the Research Center, where everyone always appears after going back to get new memories from their home worlds. She gets literally teleported there with this world's magic as suddenly as she disappeared out of nowhere two days ago. Maybe it's been only a few minutes or just an hour or two hours? A few days? Some weeks? Many months? Year(s)? No, no, no, no, she really hopes it's only been some hours or day(s) if it really must be more than just a few minutes.

At least she's very relieved to be here again! And both Mira and Zoey will know, that she's from the same time as them now because she looks-- A bit different. Now her patterns are iridescent instead of purple (NO ONE TOLD HER SHE'D GET A GLOW UP, which is actually a good thing, the not telling thing, she didn't need to know everything... but she's really glad she got that many spoilers from home earlier anyway) and she's wearing the same shirt and jeans that she was just wearing back home too.

MAYBE she'll try to keep that same happy mood here from that moment back home where she left there this time but her being an emotional rollercoaster is nothing unusual.

Her head is (mostly figuratively speaking) spinning a little now when she suddenly has all memories from here back too along with how those new memories from home can be just summed as so much happened... Because before this her last memory from there was being about to have her second private meeting with Jinu and now she knows everything, so literally everything happened there.]
