[Closed] Good Dragon Decisions
WHO: Chloe Bourgeois, Chris Yukine
WHAT: Dragon Blessed Power Ritual
WHEN: Late February
WHERE: The Ritual Site
WARNINGS: Violence, death, war, emotional abuse, neglect, abandonment, manipulation.
Chloe has always wanted power.
She knows she never had it, not really. It was always her parents power, or Hawk Moth's power, or Pollen's power. She didn't have power herself, she always had to get it from others. It was a fun trick she learned early on, to make people think she had it early on by using it, abusing it. Then people thought she was something to contend with, not just ignore.
But she knew the truth. It was never hers. All she could do it play pretend and for a little while ignore how useless and pointless her existence was.
However, in Ellipsa, the power...MIGHT be hers? Sure, it was being granted by others, but it didn't seem like something they could simply take away like a Miraculous or an Akuma or lacking her parents' favor. At the very least, it couldn't be stripped away with what is essentially the snap of one's fingers.
The Dragon Ritual was supposed to be more power. Stronger powers in a way.
And okay, she's been struggling with healing, but she could learn stuff like this. Make up for that lack.
Others were gathered for the ritual. Good. That was fine. The dragons say that its easier if one isn't bonded with people. No problem there, she had never bonded well with people in general, even when she was trying. She can avoid bonding with a stranger and get through this ritual.
She ends up across a girl white hair and purple eyes.
"Well? Are you ready?" She asked. Her tone isn't soft or gentle, wanting to see this through.

[Chris didn't have any deep reasons for wanting this power. It just seemed like everyone else was getting them, and she didn't want to end up as the weak link. She's not thrilled at the fact that she'll have to almost literally bare her soul to a stranger to get it, but there's no reason to take that out on her.]

[Though she would have probably gone through it anyway. She's willing to do a lot for power and able to lie to herself about the things she doesn't like about herself.]
