【OPEN MINGLE】POKEMON PORTAL MINGLE [Feb-Mar]

Welcome to the World of the Pokémon Portal Dimension!

The domain can be found in the Underground Mall, where you can step into what seems to be a whole new world.

Right outside of the portal itself, there can be found a vending machine which has some rather simple food and drink items, along with a smaller machine with camping items that folks can peruse and purchase items from to keep.

There is even a vending machine that contains Pokéballs, various ones - sans Master - can be found here. And perhaps if you get lucky, you can get a shiny charm or some other various items that can be useful in your escapades, such as potions, repels, lures and the like.

In the domain itself, there are various biomes, with most Pokémon to be found. Sure, there aren't any Legendary or Mythical ones here, and there Pseudo-Legendary ones are extremely rare, but there are still many to be seen here; they just need to be found in their proper locales!

Locations that can be found throughout the area are Centers, some which are ran automatically, others that are manned by Pokémon. You may find vending machines with food, drink and most importantly - Pokéballs here.

There are also campgrounds set up, scattered throughout. Some are by the Centers, but there are others throughout.

The domain even has a bike and scooter station not too far from the entrance. with many others around the dimension. Electric scooters can last up to 48 hours without charing, but parking it at a station will make it an easy charge. And while scooters will make sounds that can scare off wild Pokémon, bikes are pretty quiet.

Last but not least, there are four Observation Towers. If you climb up the long staircase, you can get a good view - you can even use a telescope, too! There's also a cot in case someone wants to stay the night.

So have fun CATCHING and PLAYING with Pokémon here! And hey, maybe you could use it as a good gift for that special someone...?

Nie Mingjue | Mo Dao Zu Shi

Nie Mingjue was still barely starting to accustom himself to Elipsa and its ways. It was all so new, so foreign, even compared to the previous worlds he had encountered over the years. So it was by pure accident as he wandered Nightwake that he had found himself making his way down the escalator to the Underground Mall. It was so large and bright, and so much was going on, that it suddenly left him flashing back to life in the Golden Peacock Hotel.

Mingjue's posture tensed as he wondered what exactly he should be expecting in such a place. The people who surrounded him seemed to be properly enjoying themselves, though. And so he wandered, not taking long before making his way haphazardly to the vending machine areas and spotting... An open magical portal??? "What in the nine hells??"

Mingjue's confusion and perplexity over the mysterious, casual entrance were apparent in his bewildered expression. Eyebrows scrunching as he slowly unsheathed the large saber on his back and prodded it through. Only to quickly pull it back and examine it, "It doesn't seem to have any negative or harmful energy,"

... Should he try sticking his arm in next?

"Oh! Nie Mingjue-san!"

Rinku waves. Mecchan and Hina are perched on her shoulders, Hina with a little bow on her head and Mecchan wearing a sweater with a shy emoji on it.

"Have you been there before? It's a fun place! This is where these guys' species come from."

"Ah!" Mingjue of all people, suddenly taken by surprise by Rinku while he's caught mid-way through rolling up his sleeves to stick his arm into the portal? Never! But wait. Mingjue had seen those creatures hovering around Rinku before!

That network video the young girl had posted a few weeks prior!!! "I see."

Quickly doing his best to compose himself, Mingjue stood up straight, folding his arms as he looked over the strange creatures with a small amount of judgment, "Those are the animals that destroyed your kitchen. You mean to say you just took them out of this portal with you?"

Hina squeaks, upset, and Mecchan clings to Rinku and blows a bubble. Rinku shakes her head.

"They're not animals, and they didn't mean to make a mess. They're family. The others are too."

She frowns, but continues.

"I didn't, but lots of people do. Mecchan came from a weird vending machine, and Hina-chan was born here. But the Pokémon Dimension is a ton of fun, and I bet you could make some friends in there."

"Right, 'friends' and 'family'," Mingjue's tone seemed dubious at best. Not at all seeming to mind that the strange creatures have reacted negatively to his blunt assumption. But he was quick to blow it off, instead focusing on the many words that were mentioned in Rinku's explanation that he had never actually heard before. "I do not know what a 'vending machine' or a 'pikelon dimension' is."

"I have never experienced such phrases in either my own world or the previous two worlds I've explored."

Mecchan sniffles, and Rinku pets him. Hina makes an unhappy face.

"That's okay. Vending machines usually sell things, but Mecchan was stuck inside one. And this is a portal dimension! There are tons, but this one's public and it's fun to explore. I bet you'll like it if you try."

"I see," it was only with Rinku's offer that Mingjue' turned to look at the sniffling 'Meechan', dark, serious eyes seeming to look the Zubat over nondiscerningly. "I suppose if you say it is safe to enter it, I have no reason to distrust you."

Rinku has been kind enough to help him when they first met, after all. Turning to face the portal, he nodded. "Very well, I shall enter it."

And there he goes wandering off ahead with single-minded determination!

Rinku smiles; Mingjue might hear her comforting her two companions before he passes through. She follows him in with a happy noise.

"This place is amazing, right? There's all sorts of areas here. And the creatures too!"

She points through the trees at a few Forretress hanging from branches.

[With half her social circle away this weekend, Rinku is all for exploring and having fun! Though it won't just be on Valentine's weekend -- she can be found at random basically anytime. Such as...]

[1) caves]

[Rinku sits at the entrance to a cave, with Hina, who's wearing a little bow on her head today, looking uncharacteristically shy. The little Zubat squeaks as a flock of other Zubat and their evolutions approaches.]

It's okay, Hina-chan! You had something to say, right?

[Hina squeaks. For those who can understand her, she seems to be apologizing for how she reacted the first time she met them. She shouldn't have been so disappointed to find out she wouldn't evolve into a vampire...

As the bats converse amongst themselves, Rinku looks up and waves at anyone approaching.]

Don't worry! These guys are a lot friendlier than Frost Bats.

[2) Pokémon Centre]

[Rinku crouches to look at the very dignified Staraptor perching at the desk and pecking buttons with his beak to run the Pokémon Centre. She coos and sets out some treats.]

You're doing a good job! Do you just do this 'cause you like it? I guess you probably don't have an economy, huh.

[3) Observation Tower]

[Rinku looks up from the bottom of the stairs at the Tower of Only One Bed. She smiles wide and nods at the person next to her.]

Hey, wanna race up there? I bet this'll help with the exercise I'm supposed to get for physio! And then we can see all sorts of stuff!

[4) park bench]

[Mecchan had mostly kept to himself on this trip, nervous about meeting new people. But Rinku and company had taken a break to rest, and she'd given Mecchan some books to read...

Short version, a gaggle of Cherubi have wandered in from the trees, and along with Hina (who can't see but just likes the social interaction), are following along as Mecchan patiently and nervously walks them through an alphabet board book.]

They're so cute... Hey, do your Pokémon wanna come learn too?
