It is a rarity for it to be so quiet around here... still, that suits me just fine.
[Caster had found a cafe in Amberfall to settle down and write- a large, leather-bound journal open in front of her where she scribbled notes in a delicate hand. Whilst it was convenient that everyone understood each other in a world like this, the fact she had to concentrate to write in her native tongue frustrated her to no end- it shouldn't take any mental energy to do this! But she persevered out of stubbornness anyway... stubbornness, or a fear she might one day forget how.]
Moondrop Cafe
[Since Mamoru's death, Caster had been helping out at Moondrop so they wouldn't be understaffed- except, that didn't exactly stopped, even when he had been revived. She was doing her Master a favour, she said, and enjoyed trying out new things.
...Besides, it wasn't like a cute shop like this would suit a suspicious witch like her, right? And the last thing she needed was the patrons accusing her of trying to poison or curse them!
Today was one such day- and during a quiet moment, she was focusing intently on a pot of tea, brow furrowed as she weaved a little of her dark magic into it- just so- a little more hot water and-]
There... there, that should do it!
[Well, if the little flower inside the pot was any indication, something seemed to have worked- the bud blooming with a faint purple glow. A bright, proud smile crossed the Servant's face.]

What- what is going on?? Wretched fae!!
[That would be the yelling of a rather irate sorceress- who had been transported by the fairies into their realm whilst she was fast asleep (hey, she wasn't a morning person!) And as such, she'd arrived in a rather revealing, partially see-through nightdress. And wouldn't you know it, the blush that appeared on her cheeks now spread up into her ears. Which had begun twitching ever so slightly.
If she got a coin for every time fairies had teleported her into their realm in a skimpy nightgown she'd have two coins- which isn't much, but sure is weird it happened twice.]
Sea Shanties (Jan Mini-Event)
[Caster wasn't immune to the effects of the New Year's concert. Whilst she hadn't been in attendance herself, she couldn't help but find the curse start to slip in as she went about her business in Coldreach and Sunwaning- and even on her way to the Spring Segment farmlands.
Whether she was travelling or carrying out the chores- she couldn't help but randomly burst into song. Songs that sounded like... old Greek Sea Shanties?
And no sooner had it started than she clamped her hands over her mouth, trying to make it stop. This was humiliating!]
Nrgh... this curse is...

sea shanties
[Helping with chores, naturally.]

Honestly it's embarrassing... but, thank you.
...Really the worst part is that I still remember them.

the barista hands over her cup, she struggles to take it and just about manages to carry it over with one hand without a drop spilling. }
Good afternoon, would you mind if I joined you? I was curious to see what you are working on today.

...I have no objections. Go ahead.
[A small sweep of her hand to gesture at the seat opposite.]
Moondrop Cafe
[ Golden Cheese Cookie was doing her daily routine of 'explore everything and everywhere', so naturally this included all cafes. So, Caster, enjoy a young-ish Cookie lady sitting on your shoulder, all up in your personal space. You don't mind, do you? Surely not. ]

[Wait a second. Where did that voice just come from?
A glance behind her, first, before realising that there seemed to be something on her shoulder. What was that??]
What in Hecate's name-

[ Rude! Where are you manners?
She settles herself, crossing her legs. ]
Now then, continue your explanation.
moondrop!
But that doesn't mean he's ignoring the cafe. As co-owner (something Mamoru insisted on, and Tsumugi agreed to in order to ease his friend's burden), he needs to be aware of what's happening...! Which means he's pausing his routine plant care to peek at that pot of tea. ]
What did you make?
[ No judgment! Just curiosity! ]

...That could pose a problem.]
It's an infusion, made with some of the local flowers... it has similar properties to lavender, and my magic should heighten its potency in giving a peaceful night's sleep.
...It is not poison, before you ask.
[Caster, he never said that.]
Fairyland Problems!
But tonight, Hakkai couldn't help but be a little curious. The glowing, magical circle on the road was intriguing. And-- well-- surely it wasn't something that could kill him, surely... probably... Right? Which is how he now ended up here, close beside Caster, his eyes wide with surprise as he crossed his arms and brought his finger to his chin in thought.
Really, this situation was so strange that he barely gave a girl in her nightgown any thought in comparison to everything else that was happening!]
Ah! So it was made by the fae. I wonder what it is they want with us.
no subject
Nothing good, I assume... perhaps to put us to trial, or they are trying to lure us into a trap.
[She scowled, looking around for any sign of why they had been called. Trusting the fae? Absolutely not!
Let it never be said that Caster was unbiased...]

[In his attempt to take in his new surroundings, Hakkai was quick to notice the way Caster attempted to cover herself. Eyes widening at the realization of how uncomfortable she must be in this sort of situation.]
Would you like to borrow my sash and tunic? I have another shirt underneath, and with our height difference, it should be able to cover you like a dress.
