It's one of the reason this whole situation was a bit weird and yet, he did not really mind. A lot happened since that night. He was glad he could see out of that eye, all things considered, even if his eyesight wasn't as good as the other eye.]
Mm... well, you're going to have to eventually. I'm hungry.
[For once.]

[He knows very well how Kaeya's appetite can be, but in spite of the admission he doesn't seem ready to let the other man out of his bed just yet. Diluc shifts like he's going to sit up but falters, instead settling back into half leaning against Kaeya's chest.
It really does feel as if it will be over if he gets up... and he doesn't want it to be over.
So... rather than move and let Kaeya up, he shifts in to kiss him again, letting the warm press of lips linger. It's terrifying and yet everything he could think about wanting, all at once.]
Five more minutes.

[Kaeya gave a soft snort, grunting when Diluc leaned against his chest.
But in all honesty, he wasn't starving. But he wasn't used to this affection as much as it made him happy and the compromise to the usual flight response was perhaps simply fleeing to the kitchen and letting food distract a little.
But that clearly wasn't happening and his cheeks were burning. He returned the kiss nonetheless.]
F-Fine. Five more minutes.

[But he can't help but smile, just a little, as he reels himself in and shifts onto his side next to the other man to just look at him for a few moments.
Kaeya being shy isn't something new to Diluc. It was a side of him that his sworn brother always knew well, hidden behind that eccentric charm and quick wit.]
All right, all right.
[Relenting if only to allow the younger man his dignity, Diluc sits up and stretches his arms over his head, grunting softly before he rubs one hand against his hair.]
Breakfast it is, then.
no subject
But now he had a whole new reason to blush as he watched Diluc sit and stretch. It was all too easy to be mesmerized by those muscles shifting beneath the scarred, pale skin. He finally coughed and looked away, using that moment to sit up himself and hide his flushed cheeks with his hair as he slid off the bed.]
So... what do you have?
no subject
Hmn... cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage... Normal breakfast things.
[He swings his legs off the bed and stands up, working his fingers through a small tangle in his hair.]
I'll cook.
no subject
Eggs and bacon, then? Please.
[Kaeya was dressed a bit more modestly with his nightclothes, but it was nothing more than cotton pants and a shirt that had a low v-neck. Still, it managed to highlight his thin waist. He walked out of the room to get to the kitchen and sit at the counter.]
no subject
Tch, don't think you can sit there while I wait on you. Make the coffee.
[Kaeya, please.]
Then we can talk about you sneaking into my bed in the middle of the night.
no subject
Says the man who so rudely woke me up after an awful night of storms!
[But there was a small lilt to his tone and the corner of his mouth was raised a touch. He wasn't being serious.]
Shouldn't it be obvious? You never disliked it before.
no subject
[But Diluc is smirking a bit too. It's a different kind of argument. A not-really-an-argument-at-all sort of argument that makes something in the centre of his chest feel warm. He ruffles his hand against the back of Kaeya's head when the other man passes him.]
And I didn't say I disliked it, but you haven't done it since we were children.
no subject
It felt really good.
He shook his head from Diluc's grip and to pour the coffee grinds into the the filter.]
Well, you didn't answer your phone. And it was just... a particularly bad night.
[There was a hesitance in the pouty answer, because he was ultimately embarrassed for needing to share the bed with Diluc. Something he hadn't done, the redhead rightly pointed out, since they were kids.]
