"Mm, I thought you might say that."

He wouldn't have expected Kaeya to be such a shutterbug, but then again, he wouldn't have expected them to be running a place like this together, or having this kind of relationship. Strange how things can take such turns when you're so far removed from most of your conflict. His fingers slide down Kaeya's forearm to his hand, where he holds it lightly.

"We should take the horses out again soon. What do you think?"

"I think that would be a wonderful idea," Kaeya replied with a smile, intertwining their fingers. "They certainly need to stretch their legs and I think we could do with a proper date."

With getting the shop going, in between quests and the events of late, they hadn't really had the time to do something like that. Not that he minded their quiet evenings and whatnot.

"We are overdue for one."

With a gentle, light tug, he pulls Kaeya's hand across the table towards him and kisses the back of it. His bright eyes don't leave the other man's gaze for a moment.

"I hope you don't feel like I've been neglecting you."

Does he think that Kaeya would feel that even for a moment? Not a bit, but he's allowed a little flirting.

Kaeya can't help the blush or the fact that it reached his ears. Diluc could be such a sap, it was embarrassing. Except it wasn't, Kaeya just rarely handled all the attention very well.

He shook his head. "Of course not. But you can make it up to me anyway with that date."

He absolutely could be a sap and half the time it wasn't even intentional. Diluc is just a man in love and it shows, and why shouldn't it?

"I don't think it should be too difficult to align our schedules," he says, smiling up at the other man as he keeps Kaeya's hand near to his lips. "We have a few things to do around here, but nothing so urgent that it can't be put aside for an afternoon."
