[ It's actually unusual for a bot to communicate this way, but since text on a screen allowed it to have a comfortable distance from whoever it was communicating with, that was the default that it was using. ]
Since I've learned there is a whole bunch of humans that are already here, I have to figure that a lot of them already have their own ways of protecting themselves, since there is no possible way I'd be able to deal with that many clients all by myself. If you don't, though, and the humans all decide to do something that is borderline suicidal, then more power to you as long as I don't have to clean up after it.
I did see that it was common for a job to be done in exchange for a hard currency card. There are way too many of you for me to be able to call all of you my clients, but I'd be willing to rent myself out as a security specialist for smaller groups again? Although, as a security specialist, I'll tell you right now that most of you humans are way too fragile to be doing repairs to buildings that are not structurally sound.

Oh. So it's basically propaganda.

It's propaganda based on a seed of truth. It is possible for a SecUnit to go rogue and kill everyone on its contract, but it's just not as likely to happen as the entertainment media would have you think.

Just as likely that a human can or would. At least back home we have much more evidence of people turning on each other, and not just because they were on opposing sides to start.

Humans who are under a lifetime contract will sometimes kill each other just because they can't stand the horrific situation that they are in anymore. In the Corporation Rim, humans can be a lot more disposable when they don't have a bond company that will get upset if you destroy one of their expensive SecUnits. In my experience, it doesn't matter what world you are in; humans are always the scariest thing you can encounter.

Humans are the scariest creatures on any world. At least most the monsters aren't deliberate in their cruelty.

Which season did you arrive in?

[ It's already been built to superhuman standards, and though that would make it stand out in the universe it comes from, that paradoxically makes it fit in quite well in Ellipsa. ]

Some of what's run into out in the Segments annoyingly only responds to magical means.
