[Waking up on an unknown beach / in a whole new world? Kind of seems like it could be an illusion or some other trick from demons, actually, but Rumi's too busy freaking out about her brand new white outfit.]

What the--?! No, no---

[Who put this to her?! She never reveals this much skin because she's covered in those magical tattoo like patterns, otherwise this would be perfect for her. The young woman takes many quick looks around herself but her own clothes are nowhere to be seen. Neither is any kind of jacket to this outfit. In fact, there's nothing else than endless amounts of this beach anywhere on sight, so she's here all alone...

That's a huge relief. She takes a very deep breath after realizing that. Must. Calm. Down. She lets out a sigh. This is just like-- No. This is only kind of looking into a mirror whenever she's all alone back home too. Right. Nothing new about that. There's no one else here. So despite this sudden new outfit, no one's going to find out her deep, dark secret by seeing her patterns and that really calms her down a lot.

So now she has some time to think about the absolutely stupid irony in all of this. Oh. Ohh, well isn't this just absolutely hilarious from whatever this is because first of all, again, Rumi never wears revealing outfits like this! And also?! Her best friends keep asking her to go to the bathhouse with them all the time but she always refuses to go with them because even they don't know about her patterns. So, a beach, of all places?! What the hell kind of a joke/trick/illusion/whatever is this?! This isn't funny! This is so stupid! How is she going to get out of here before anyone else shows up and sees her?!

... Then again. Now when she's on a beach all alone instead of it being full of people and she doesn't need to hide from anyone which would never happen back home... She will even take some steps in the water and truly enjoy every single step there. Wow, if only she could do this anytime... Hello, temporary freedom.]

✨ NEW ARRIVAL'S PANIC, PANIC, PANIC

[Buuuuuuuuuut then she's suddenly teleported into the new arrivals room ]

[Excuse her? Only demons can do that back in her world and she thinks she's still there, so-- So she forgets everything about that because her eyes go wide as plates from the amount of people in the room. She's not all alone anymore. But she's still wearing the same white outfit and she's absolutely freaking out, trying to hide her patterns with her hands, clearly panicking that anyone might see either them or see her in an outfit like this!

You know what, there are way too many people, any and all of them are able to see those patterns, that no one's supposed to know about at all. Nope, Rumi's not interested in any answers to this. She's NOT staying here and instead she's instantly trying to run the hell out of the whole room and building.]

Gives a new reason to panic

[Jinu is also extremely new, except he woke up in the middle of snow. Which is not where he expected to arrive after his meeting with Rumi. The white clothes resembled a lot like what he usually wears as a demon, except it's more of a robe you can just wrap around yourself. Good for the snow and ice.

Gwi-ma didn't do this, nor does he hear his voice or any others. What was this place?

As luck or fate or something would have it, Jinu gets teleported very close to Rumi who is clearly panicking. When she starts running he's here to catch her and wrap his white robe around her to hide her patterns.

A part of him thinks he shouldn't help her hide them, but she's not ready for it. Not yet. So he might as well help.

Even if it left him in his underwear, but he doesn't seem bothered at all.]

We have to stop meeting like this.

Wait, of course, Jinu is here. Because it makes perfect sense to Rumi, that he of all the people demons is here too, when she still thinks that this could be one of their tricks. Are those others even real people? She didn't check while she was too busy panicking about the possibility of real people seeing her.

She's running towards him, so she's right in front of him and he gives that robe to her. He's helping her again!??! Wh---?!

Never mind, because her head probably goes as empty as Derpy's head always is when he's suddenly in front of her in nothing but his underwear.

OKAY. LOOKING above th-- FACE! SHE'LL BE ONLY LOOKING AT HIS FACE! Geeez, that demon couldn't look like all the weird looking ones?? Nope, no such luck for her. ]

[Thank you, Jinu, she's glad she can always count on you. Unsurprisingly to him, probably, she looks surprised, confused, angry and many other things at the same time. Including how she's actually glad that Mira and Zoey didn't see her patterns just now by showing up out of nowhere too.]

[Listen, someone or something teleported her twice in a very short time and this sure hasn't felt like an entire different world to her just yet. Also she sort of hugs herself like she's trying to make sure that the robe stays on or that he doesn't take it back after her reaction. Wow, isn't it so nice to see her?]

Summer Arrival

[The beach feels so empty. Narinder hates how empty it feels. That is until finally the shape of someone can be seen. Finally. Another sentient being. At least he hopes so. He approaches, walking along the sand until he can make out the odd mostly hairless striped thing. He isn't sure exactly what it is but it is someone.

And someone will do right now.

Rumi has a black cat with three eyes approaching her.]

You there. Are you familiar with this plane?

[Suddenly her eyes go as wide as plates and she almost forgets how to breathe for a moment, when someone speaks to -- her? No, no, no, no one's supposed to see her like this!

Rumi turns to look pretty slowly, not sure what she's expecting to see, but a cat with three eyes sure isn't on her list of options. Maybe it should be. She knows a three-eyed bird and demons come in all shape and forms.

Huh. Umm, world, a word please???! Yes, hello, she's not eating right now... Okay, no, that's not the only time when they interrupt her.

You know, for someone who sees a cat with three eyes, well, most people would probably react in another way but she's clearly seen weirder things when she looks so done with this already. Rumi puts her hands on her hips.]

No, no idea, I've never been here before wherever here is... Are you a demon?

[Did Gwi-Ma sent that cat? Rumi takes a quick look around. No one else is here. That's weird, usually there's more than one of them... Of course she could always try to tell the rest of them to come out wherever they are too. But she doesn't do that. At least not yet.]

🍜 SNACK STATIONS

[So after finding her apartment, switching to her own clothes and taking a bit to think about this... It's time to head out and see this whole new world.

She'll help with fixing and cleaning, of course (and feel free to throw a wildcard about it) because she actually really wants to help and not only because then she feels like she's earned this snack stations tour. Even more irony from Ellipsa since this pop star recently returned from HUNTR/X world tour, and now she gets to make a world tour in the form of vising all the different snack stations here.

Aaaaand she loves eating and she loves food even more than eating, so she'll really be all over all of them. Of course she'll also be staring at all of the different districts with her jaw on the floor ground, just amazed by them wherever she goes. ]

This world is amazing~!

[She's so happy and excited to be here, trying not to think how gladly she'd also be home to do everything, that she really should be doing there.]

🌸 FLOWER CROWNS

[Oookay, she may know how to make flower crowns, it's been a while since she's made any but it doesn't take a long time to learn it again. She's not actually paying any attention to the flower language though, she hears the reminder way too late too for a few flower crowns, so hers might say -- anything. Oooops.]

So, have you exchanged any crowns with anyone yet?

POP STAR'S CITY / WORLD TOUR

🛍️ SHOPPING

[She needs more clothes! So, she heads to the biggest malls and clothing stores to find more hoodies, and other shirts with long sleeves, turtleneck styled shirts to wear under some of them, more jeans, jackets and everything else, and also some shoes, and of course, some all covering pajama sets with all sorts of cute prints.]

Hmmmm, what else? Oooh, makeup and hair stuff! And all the other things too...

[She couldn't arrive here with even more of her clothes from home, huh? That would have been nice. She will go watch some idol-like outfits too once she'll find them... Not that she's buying any of those, yet, she'll have to do more quests or whatever to have the money for everything. She already did some quests to afford all the basic things, that she's buying right now.

Then there's a tour around SEAKEA and other house decor places too, she may live in a starter apartment but she doesn't want that to be boring and besides, who knows how soon she'll move away from it.]

🎤 SINGING

[Eventually she finds the empty concert venue in Blossomcrown and she doesn't even try to resist running to the stage. Anyone might hear / find her singing and dancing Golden there. Though her singing is actually able to (optionally) attract people and inspiring hope and joy in them, you're welcome at least for the hope and joy part but nice if she ends up attracting people to see her here.]

[Maybe she shouldn't have overdone it by singing Mira and Zoey's parts too. Yeah, that's it. That's absolutely why that's happening right now. She tries again, but that same just happens very soon this time.]

Well, that's just great.

[She sighs. Maybe she should take a break.

She'll find Shining Karaoke sooner or later too, so you might hear even more singing from her there. ...She'll try to take some breaks and sing some less as if that helps with the coughing at all.]

🍛🍔🌮🍕🍙🍚🍣 EATING EVERYWHERE

[Sure, she already did that snack tour but now she's doing a restaurant tour and it includes other food places too! She's not doing it in one day, even she couldn't eat that much, but she'll be going around to all of them sooner or later.

If it's a buffet, she'll be carrying a lot of food to her seat and if it's something else, well, she might order / buy / get more than one item. And some of those restaurants and other places are pretty full, so she'll approach anyone with an empty seat on their table with a cute smile on her face.]

Excuse me, can I sit here? Everywhere else is full.

[It's still so wild to her, that no one knows her here -- or at least most don't know her because she's not the only one from her home world here.]

💜 NIGHT LIFE

[The City Center that never sleeps? Well, apparently neither does Rumi or so one might think when she sure loves walking out during late evening and night. She does, in fact, sleep very well in all of her cute pajamas but there's something really beautiful and calming about being outside at night.

Just walking around, eating and drinking things from here and there, going to rooftops of all the highest buildings to watch the city from there too.

And she doesn't only do all of that walking in Nightwake, she'll do that in most districts too. She'll skip the coldest ones and she also skips Solarpeak because she's enough of beaches for a while and she generally avoids them and bathhouses all the time anyway.]

They'd really love this place...

[Yes, she misses her best friends A LOT and so she may say that anywhere while she's walking around, or on any rooftop or anywhere else. It's so weird being anywhere without them.]

[Any amount of audience just makes this pop star shine on the stage even more. Figuratively speaking. Some people might get shy in front of anyone else hearing them singing all alone, but not this young woman.

So when she sees Megumi listening there, she smiles at her but doesn't stop singing until that coughing happens.

Oh, right, why didn't she think of something as obvious as water? Megumi gets a sheepish smile from her.]

Hello. Oh, that's true if you don't mind me drinking some from it? I really should have brought my own bottle to this sudden new city tour.

[Yup, she just needs some water along with how she should just sing her own parts... That will solve all the problems, there's absolutely no denial whatsoever at all about the coughing being part of a bigger problem here.]

[being served five meals a day is great and all, but mystery likes being able to go and pick and choose what he wants, too.

this time, he's chosen a buffet with a spread of many things, most of which are unfamiliar to him, but that doesn't deter him, oh no. if anything, it intrigues him even more and he piles up plate after plate, carrying them back to his table and sitting down. he eats meticulously, savoring each and every flavor, noting what he likes more and what he isn't as interested in.

sweet things get saved for last, which is what he's about to start working on when rumi approaches him. he recognizes the voice immediately, of course, and slowly but surely, he lifts his gaze from his plate to her, eyebrows knitting together behind the fall of his hair. (she may not be able to see that, but she can very well see the way his lips pinch slightly.)]

[To say Rumi is surprised to see Mystery here would be a giant understatement. She stares at the demon, eyes wide as the biggest plates here. Sure, she noticed the hair color before asking that but she just-- Denied any possibilities of that being him when there are so many from all sorts of different worlds here, so surely he must be someone else.

Well, turns out, he's not someone else. Oh boy. Zoey would be so jealous of this sudden surprise time with him. Rumi gets over the surprise pretty fast, instead she looks at him with a deep frown on her face. Of course they never let her finish her snacks or meals or anything before showing up here too, she should have thought about that.

But since he doesn't to anything to attack her, she doesn't drop her food nor get her sword either. What he may see from her is that she's still hiding her patterns under her hoodie and jeans. Maybe she just decided to start that again in this new world.]

Not really. [a beat, and another.] But just a few words.

[She puts everything from her hands to the table and even sits down, watching him with that frown on her face from the other side of the table.]

First of all; I'm not going to attack you here unless you give me any reason to do that -- just making that clear.

[She's serious about it too. He wants to live a normal life here? Cool, she'll let him and any of them do that as long as he / they won't become a problem here.]

Sunset was passing by the concert venue when she heard the singing. Being part of a band herself, she finds herself wandering over.

No security, no one to head her off, well, no reason to head inside. She wanders towards the stage, listening to the song. The singer has a beautiful voice, the lyrics are good, and there is-

She pauses for a moment. Oh. There was more to it. An underline to the singing. As an empath, she can feel it, the same way she had sensed it from the sirens. Though where their voices caused discord, this was the opposite. Something soothing, uplifting.

And then the voice crack-

She frowns. There was something....there. But she couldn't put her finger on it.

She shook her head. Well! It might be a problem, it might be nothing. But she does still want to meet the singer.

Sunset heads to the stage and will lean against the edge of it, watching as Rumi goes through the song, bobbing her head along.

....she is also someone with amber yellow skin, but hey! At least she looks human otherwise?

Wow, what an adorable name for a restaurant and the pandas on its logos, decorations and everywhere else are super adorable too. And the buffet looks divine. Though she's brand new in this whole world and this is her first time here, so Rumi checks the menu too and with that she's even more and more impressed by this whole restaurant.

She looks through the buffet tables curiously as if trying to decide what to eat first -- or if she'll even want to eat here. She will want to eat everything here.

Buuuuuut there's still even more, that she'd would love to eat too. What was thing about always being able to order things even outside of the menu here?

And she has been through so many different situations and places, where she and the girls have been fighting against demons, so this will be one more fun experience to that list. Rumi looks all fired up and ready to go even before she holds out her right hand and summons her sword there.]

So, have you ever seen Snow Sharks before?

[Asking out of curiosity from anyone near her. Rumi sure hasn't... And maybe her fire abilities will help too, even if she's a new arrival (she may have been here for a while before doing this quest, maybe she's had some training), so those skills aren't very good yet but how good do they have to be against enemies made of snow?

And she'll really be there, fighting against any sharks that happen to come on her way -- or in the way of anyone, who seems to be dodging them. Sorry, did you mean to fight it yourself? Nice try. Though they might surprise her too in which case, please help, she may be reckless and fast and an amazing fighter but she's also used to teamworking with her best friends to have more eyes on enemies or anything, that's happening around them.]

[Whether or not her sword will already be in her hands when she'll drop in depends on whether that hole surprises her or if she'll recklessly jump there herself. Maybe she should just get it ready already. Oh well, she doesn't seem worried about that at all.]

[Rumi is new here. Rumi didn't wake up in a forest, so Rumi doesn't have earth magic. Freezing her with fear of death is easy even without this quest if anyone just mentions how her best friends might actually kill her when they'll find out what she really is... Check, check, check and check many other things too, that say maybe she shouldn't be here.

But here she is and her sword is ready too. Did she mean to be here or does it just happen to appear when she just so happens to be there at the right time for it to appear? Who knows. Even if she didn't, she wouldn't run away. She was supposed to go have a nice little vacation somewhere right after defeating those monsters in the pit, but hey, serves her right when someone else ruins her vacation plans after she decided to release GOLDEN back home... So, it's not just demons back there who always ruin her plans for any kind of breaks, guess she should get used to that among many other things here.]

Fall camping sounds like it could be really relaxing and fun, maybe Rumi will have time to try it for real here someday. But she's not really camping this time. She's in a tent with someone else, yes, it's staged as real camping but she and her company are just waiting for those mantis monsters to arrive.]

Hoooooooooow long will we have to wait?

[Maybe she should eat something because that's usually when demons interrupt HUNTR/X back home. She looks curiously at her company.]

[A quest, where she gets money for wearing this catsuit or maybe ironically also even monster outfits, that cover that much of her skin + helmets, that cover the rest? SIGN HER UP!!

Except, well, most probably don't mind changing in front of others / other girls, Rumi will want to change all alone in private, so she may just look for a room or lock herself into a bathroom to change clothes because of all of those patterns all over her skin. Of course if she'll be in an unlocked room, or thinks she locked it but she actually didn't, anyone COULD walk in while she's changing them even before or after they're done with filming this...

She knows how to do this kind of fighting too even if she's not doing this seriously but at least she knows how to fight, so she can make it look very convincing to the camera.]

[Rumi doesn't have a horse and she also didn't arrive here with a mount. But Jinu did and that tiger really likes Rumi too (or at least she thinks so) and even back home it sometimes -- or even often -- hangs out with her too.

So when Derpy sees this contest being about to start, it cuddles Rumi a few times. The young woman pets the tiger, it cuddles again and then it takes some steps towards the other riders and their mounts.]

You-- Want to participate too?

[Yes, good Rumi. And Derpy returns to cuddle her hand again before it pushes her a little towards those others too.]

With me? Really? I-- Okay, but no cheating then.

[Ummm. Rude, Rumi, because Derpy would never ever cheat! (Lies, no thoughts head empty tiger might, in fact, cheat very easily with any of its skills.) And despite saying that, Rumi thinks she won't really mind it at all at that point and now she pets the tiger some more because there's still time for that before those ellympics begin here.

But she won't be doing any of those, where she'd have to swim (unless she can do it with clothes on) / go to beach / anything to do with fishing or water etc as if she's allergic to the whole idea...

[Rumi could just chill for her first month here, it's not like this isn't optional for everyone. But she's a Hunter and the Forest of Courage sounds pretty fitting for her. Well, it also sounds like it's going to test her courage in many ways, that she may not even like at all, and where's all of her courage to tell her best friends about what she even is...? ANYWAY, she gets there with a teleportation crystal as ironic as that is considering everything about her and demons and their powers back home.

The owlcats are pretty cute, maybe not something she'd take home with her, but she sure doesn't mind their company while she sits and waits for this to begin.

But then this tiger and the magpie just appear there all of suddenly.]

Wh--?

[Rumi takes a quick look around. Nope, apparently he's not here too and those two are once again sneaking to meet her. GOOD! There's not even a message from him. Huh. Weird. N-Not weird! She's not getting used to this whole thing with them sending messages to each other! No, no way, absolutely not. Not that she'd even want a message from him!! Little does she know, that Jinu sent them here to help her despite how he's not participating into the trials himself.

Derpy cuddles against Rumi as soon as he's there completely, while she's busy thinking all of that. She smiles softly at him and boops his nose.]

Ah, did you want to be my ride to this area? [More cuddles from Derpy and Rumi pets him.] Well, maybe next time and hey, you can give me a ride back to my apartment, okay?

[Yup, Derpy looks happy about that. And he might also curiously peek at anyone nearby, especially if they're looking at them. Or you know, a bird with three-eyes isn't exactly anything normal in most worlds either and Rumi glances around to see who they're looking at too.]

🐶🐶🐶 THE THREE-HEADED DOG

[Rumi takes a deep breath.]

Let's hope this goes to some nice place...

[Because that would be great! When they touch the symbols at the same time, she and her partner for this trial end up into a room with a giant three-headed (rough) collie. She's surprised, most of the things in Ellipsa still surprise her. But then again she's only been here for about five days.]

Oookay. This better not be one of those, where we're supposed to fight against -- that.

[Nice dog. It looks as intimidating as a rough collie can look but at least it's not attacking them or anything. Rumi tries to see if it's hiding anything behind it or under its paws or anything. She's looking way too far, when there's a box full of dog toys and treats for the dog behind her and her trial partner.]

🪞 TAKEDOWN

[aka The Belt trial. But okay, a room full of mirrors isn't among things, that Rumi is expecting to see here. She has no idea what she was expecting but maybe she's kind of learning to roll with whatever happens here which is not that different from demon attacks back home.]

So, what do you think we should be doing here?

[You know what else she's not expecting to see here right now or a bit later? The reflections of her best friends Mira and Zoey on those mirrors.]

Mira! Zoey! When did you two get here?

[Oh no, she's so happy and excited to see them, she's running closer to those mirrors which just makes them come out of them. She's so not ready for this takedown. Ever heard of her talking about her best friends like she misses them so much and she loves them and so on? Yeah, those two don't look friendly or happy to see her at all.]

❌ FAILURE

[So, that room full of mirrors might go about as well as this takedown from her future. Are you busy dealing with whichever reflections you have? Already taking that belt from them or drowning into despair from them too? Rumi just-- She can't take it, she's not ready for any of this at all. Celene was right all along about how they'd react if they ever found out? How? Why? She always thought they'd understand. What if this gets worse? What if they get their weapons and just end her right here?! And so on and so on, her mind is spiraling extremely badly to all the worst case scenarios until she holds her head in her hands for a moment between trying to dodge them. But they just don't stop, there's something red glowing more and more from her skin and it becomes too much for her.]

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

[ If that was a normal scream, it wouldn't do anything. But it's her demonic screech which breaks all the mirrors in the room and ends the trial right there. It's an automatic failure for both her and whoever happens to be in the room with her, doesn't matter whether her company gets the belt from their opponent or not. And they both get sent back to the forest where this whole thing started. Rumi lies on back on the ground, still shocked and trying to remember how to breathe after all of that. She went in with a jacket, she is not wearing that anymore so her arms and patterns are completely visible and some of them are glowing in red.]

. . . Sorry . . . Are you okay?

[Does she even have any right to ask that? Well, she's asking it anyway. She's not okay, even if she may not notice it yet or even care about that part yet because yeah, she sure lost some senses from failing the challenge. And well, she's very much not okay after all of that otherwise either. Of course she doesn't realize, that her company may not even hear her if they happened to lose that sense.]

❄️ FROZEN TO LOSE IT ALL

[Too bad that it's so freezing cold because she might go crazy if she'll just stay in her apartment. And she's one of those, who both hides her feelings and keeps her secrets, so of course that wind is especially interested in Rumi among many others.

Does she even notice it at first? Possibly not, or she may just be in denial about anything more weird than her being a half-demon going on in her body until she starts coughing ice crystals. And she might cough them anywhere, in Fortune Panda and other restaurants, cafes, Shining Karaoke, in the middle of a department store, in the middle of a grocery store or on her way out of there, or on her way somewhere, or back to her apartment from wherever she has been until now.]

What the hell?

[What's going on? What's happening to her? Maybe it's just a new symptom of her demon side taking over her entire body. Yeah, that -- that must be it. Mmhmm. There's nothing else wrong with her. She's been coughing both back home and here in Ellipsa, clearly it's just getting worse except she's also kind of feeling she's freezing more and more. Wow, she really should put more clothes on whenever she goes out.

Of course if someone happens to be brave enough to touch her even when she's ice cold, she'll gladly take any platonic help, that she can get whether it's with affection or words or both. She's new here, she has no idea what's going on or that this isn't new here. Nor does she have much of an idea what a huge role touch energy really has here, she still has things to learn about that.]

💙💋❤️ A LOVER?! A TRAITOR!? A POISON?? A SAVIOR???! JINU, WHAT ARE YOU MADE OF?! (CLOSED)

[ Hmmm. That's weird. She told him that she woke up on a beach, so clearly she's a Summer and that comes with fire abilities -- which she may have either told him, or they both might have figured it out on their own, or then they don't know that. Not yet.

But ice and snow sure aren't Summer powers -- unless she lied to him and she's actually a Winter Power Holder too.

... No, she didn't lie about that. Besides, they would have arrived into that endless amount of snow at the same time.

So she shouldn't have those skills. But right now Rumi's throwing ice and snow all around the beach in Solarpeak. Yeah. This sure is NOT a place, where she would choose to be as more signs to him, that something is clearly more and more wrong here. But if he has seen any of those ice sprites, they're doing a similar thing everywhere, so maybe that explains a lot.]

💜 WILDCARD

[ I'm up for any other trials too, and up for them failing too! And yes, we could also play a successful version of the belt thing. Linking plotting comment from up there here too Derpy and Sussie will be here and there, helping her or just doing whatever they feel like doing, and they can help any of her trial partners too. No, I didn't choose which senses she'll lose, not yet, staring at sight, hearing and touch but probably won't throw all of them at her at the same time because -- it would be nice to either hear or see at least, unless your character happens to know telepathy or something.

Also hey, you can get Derpy (and Sussie) into any threads with Rumi and not just on this event! Just let me know if you want them since me and Shiranna are both in control of playing them.]

[There is definitely not normal, but Jinu has run into ice sprites before this so he can guess what was going on.

Sadly, he hadn't exactly gotten a handle on ice powers yet, so he can't really migitate the ice and snow. But since he's already freezing he can approach without care anyway.]

You sprites are really messing with the wrong person.

[He's not moving completely close yet, curious to see what the ice sprites do if he just floats nearby for now.]

[He knew what he was in the company of the moment he ended up in the room with her, but one does not simply ask somebody if they are a demon and who knows, maybe he's wrong? Maybe the feeling is something else.

Raphael didn't get the chance to approach the reflection that he saw before the woman's scream knocks them both back into the forest. He lands awkwardly - a surprise, for him - and has the equivalent of every hair on his body standing up in goosebumps as he looks over at her with a faint golden gleam in the backs of his green eyes.]
