01. ) MIKU FHTAGN

( There's a small golden shiba that comes up to you and paws at your leg with a whine. He seems to want to lead you somewhere.

If you follow, there's a girl sitting on a bench on the sidewalk, looking a little dazed. Eyes lost their shine; there are strange sigils beneath one eye.

And then she speaks, and its complete gibberish. Not a language anyone would know; she doesn't even seem to know it herself. Some frustration seems to shine through her dazed expression, but it fades; she's then looking between her dog and the person he's brought with him. )

[ Atsuhide lets himself be led to Miku; he's not really up to much today.

A strange-looking girl with... very strange words slipping out of her. And then she looks frustrated, glancing between himself and what must be her service dog off his harness.

He frowns, hips a hand. ]

What's wrong? You hurt or something?

( Looking lucid for a moment, as well as frustrated, she starts to tell him off, but all that comes out is a string of incomprehensible words. Some of it feels like words she shouldn't even be able to pronounce. She puts a hand over the eye with the sigils and seems to find some kind of answer with it.

Then she rubs that hand over her throat, distress back on her face. Nearly panic.

Rabies paws at her leg. )

[As a doctor, if a concerned animal approaches him, of course he has to follow. Someone might be in need of medical assistance.

The scene the dog leads him to... it's unclear what's going on, exactly? He does recognize Miku as the deeply paranoid girl from before.]

Your dog was concerned about you.

( When she speaks, all that comes out is that gibberish. Lucidity seems to return to her a little more, and she puts her hands at her throat, as though the contact could restore comprehensible speech.

How to communicate about her curse? She taps at her eye with the sigils beneath them, hoping that might get at least a little across. )

[Kantera steps a little closer to take a look at her.]

I see, that does look terribly cursed... Do you want me to try to lift it from you? Nod or shake your head.

[He's a spring season, so he can lift some curses, but others are too powerful for him to tackle alone.]

( Miku nods fervently; she's at once both hopeful and skeptical that anything can lift this curse. If he can at least remove the effects for now she'll be over the moon; the rest she's gotten used to. )

[Kantera focuses all his energy on purifying her of her curse. At the very least, if he can't remove it, he should be able to temporarily abate the symptoms - but it really depends on how strong that curse is.]

( As Kantera's energy is focused, she feels the blockage in her brain, all oily and dark, melt away where she stays. Its an odd feeling, and by the time its done some of the sigils around her eye have disappeared.

But not all.

Her hand comes up to her eye, feeling the skin around it a little. Her voice is a bit shaky: )

Do ... does it look different? It feels like its burning but not in a ... bad way.

Some of the sigils are gone... but not all of them. I'm sorry, I wasn't able to cleanse it completely.

[But she's speaking in coherent sentences now, and he's clearly helped with some of it.]

01. ) LET'S START A RIOT

This place fuckin' rules now!

( Miku looks the part of rioter once more; a bandana tied over the lower half of her mouth, a heavy wooden baseball bat in hand. Her shiba, Rabies, follows her faithfully and excitedly as she goes through the city.

She's way too excited about all this, but at least she seems to be ... fighting for good this time? She's quite a little agent of chaos, but now she's taking out rioters with her bat and fists.

Until she comes across a few people ganging up on someone else ... But there's no hesitation there, either.

Cackling, she holds her hand out, almost as though throwing something, and something odd begins to take place: without having touched them physically, a few of the other rioters startle as though bashed across the head. )

02. ) A LOOP, CLOSED

( Miku has her eyes closed, but its not really helping her concentration very much ... She's doing her best, but the physical toll that the riots had taken on her, in addition to her curse from home, seem to be getting to her at this pivotal moment. )

( Miku should be cleaning, but she is not. She's far too busy playing with Rabies, though she'd been told to sweep and mop the main entrance. It's pretty important work, but she just cannot be assed to do so.

Everyone else is doing their best, though. Miku's just playing tug of war with him and the broom assigned to her. )

02. ) FOR ATSUHIDE

... Have we met?

( Miku is squinting at Atsuhide, sheathing her ritual dagger like she didn't just dispatch a fucking vampire like that. There's no other danger in the immediate vicinity, so she just comes over to where the big guy has landed on his ass and goes to help him up. )

-Ah, hello again.

[Kantera recognizes both the girl and the dog. It's good to see her in better spirits than... everything that was their last encounter, but.]

Are you taking a break?

Yeah, I guess.

( Not exactly a lie. She seems a lot more lucid today, at least, tugging the broom from Rabies' hold to offer one end to Kantera. )
