( When she speaks, all that comes out is that gibberish. Lucidity seems to return to her a little more, and she puts her hands at her throat, as though the contact could restore comprehensible speech.

How to communicate about her curse? She taps at her eye with the sigils beneath them, hoping that might get at least a little across. )

( Public play is fun, but he feels that being ... loud about it isn't great. He's at a bit of a loss too. )

[Kantera steps a little closer to take a look at her.]

I see, that does look terribly cursed... Do you want me to try to lift it from you? Nod or shake your head.

[He's a spring season, so he can lift some curses, but others are too powerful for him to tackle alone.]

( Miku nods fervently; she's at once both hopeful and skeptical that anything can lift this curse. If he can at least remove the effects for now she'll be over the moon; the rest she's gotten used to. )

[Kantera focuses all his energy on purifying her of her curse. At the very least, if he can't remove it, he should be able to temporarily abate the symptoms - but it really depends on how strong that curse is.]

What are you thinking?

[ Shino asks and, of course, he's generally open to going along with any of Ko's ideas but that doesn't mean he doesn't want to know what they are. The younger pops up to follow along and he thinks the brownies they've made are pretty good as is but then again his tastes aren't always the best to judge by! ]

S'mores brownies.

( He takes out what he needs; milk chocolate, marshmallows, graham crackers. Then he takes the brownies out with the oven mitt on his hand; the milk chocolate bars go over the still-hot brownies, with the marshmallows on after that. Then back in the oven. )

Just until the marshmallows puff up ... should only be a minute or two.

( He leans against the counter, smiling warmly at Shino. )

How have you been liking it here, Shino? I feel like I need to check in more.

[ Tengai laughs, looking over at the creation Deki is making. It's something Deki is creating so of course he loves it. He's been extremely messy with the paints and his fingers are covered in a multitude. He reaches over as he speaks again, poking Deki's cheek. ]

( Oh no. Now there's paint on his cheek. Deki's hand comes up over the new smudge and he pulls it away to see some bright yellow there on his fingers. Smiling a bit sheepishly at Tengai, he bonks his forehead into his. Gently. )

Thanks. I'm just ... happy if ... we can spend time together.

( He pulls back, and then turns to look at his piece. )

I wonder what Rikyo and Kuramun would paint ...

[ Shino looks thoughtful, though, it's hard to immediately gauge how much the combo might make the brownies sweeter. He's still willing to try. ]

[ They should definitely be able to take some cute pictures too! ]

It's different. Sometimes, I'm not sure what I should be using my time for but you don't need to worry over me!

[ Tengai laughs as their foreheads bonk together and while they're still close together another finger comes up to poke the tip of Deki's nose and then he rubs his own nose against his and they both have pink paint on their noses by the end of the action. ]

Do you think we could get them to fingerpaint like this~?

[ Tengai hums, and then starts paying attention to his own painting again. ]

( His smile is a little sad at that. )

Of course I do. I know you're capable, I just want to make sure you're not bored or unfulfilled. Can I help with any of it?

( They're going to need to wash their faces after this ... but likely a shower. Deki can't help but smile whenever he's around Tengai, and the affection just makes that doubly true. )

Mm. I'm sure we could. Rikyo-san might be easier ...

( Thinking fondly of those two, he's struck with a feeling of missing them deeply. )

It's not selfish to wish they were here too, is it?

( ... Oh. Well. They sure are being stared at, huh.

Amahiko slumps into himself a little. )

I have an issue with volume. I apologize ... its just hard to bite back my voice when the ecstasy bursts out!

…It would be hypocritical of me to criticize someone for getting turned on by unusual things…

You know Riki’s Rewards, right? They sell these silencer orbs that keep sound from leaving a small area around you, they might help with this kind of thing.

-They’re also good for fooling around in alleyways and not bothering people’s housemates.

[She assumes this will be a selling point.]

[ Tengai nods in agreement. He’s painting as he listens to Deki happily, though, he stops again at the question, tilting his head. ]

Nope~. They probably wouldn’t want us to be separated from them after all! It’s not such a bad place, mm~?

[ There’s some fun things here after all! ]

I miss them too.

[ Shino picks up on the sadness and he hesitates. ]

Oh, right! Of course it’s okay if you worry.

[ He just doesn’t want to be too much of a worry either. ]

I’m not bored… I just feel a little—

[ Shino pauses as if trying to find the right word. ]

Feel a little aimless and well… I haven’t really done a good job of making friends much.

I see. That's a little surprising, but I know if you try you'll make more friends.

( Ko goes about taking the pan out of the oven, then. With the marshmallows all puffed up and browned on top, chocolate melty beneath, he squishes some graham crackers on top.

He makes quick work of it, though his dead hand shakes a bit visibly as he does. Rhen he's leaning against the counter again while they cool. )

You're well loved, Shino, and you deserve to be. I'm sure there's other folks around here who would love your company as much as Takakage and Atsuhide and I do.

( God this place's very base nature makes him anxious. He slumps a bit where he sits. )

I must confess I'm unfamiliar with that place ... but this sounds like an incredible invention in our field! How groundbreaking!

( He's all sparkly-eyed and seems to have decided that Evangeline is some sort of ... co-worker? Kind of? Maybe? Hard to tell with this guy. )

( As Kantera's energy is focused, she feels the blockage in her brain, all oily and dark, melt away where she stays. Its an odd feeling, and by the time its done some of the sigils around her eye have disappeared.

But not all.

Her hand comes up to her eye, feeling the skin around it a little. Her voice is a bit shaky: )

Do ... does it look different? It feels like its burning but not in a ... bad way.

Some of the sigils are gone... but not all of them. I'm sorry, I wasn't able to cleanse it completely.

[But she's speaking in coherent sentences now, and he's clearly helped with some of it.]
